"J had a lovely stay at the Argyle resort and the fact that you just need to cross the parking lot to get to the Dongshan Bathing Spot is definitely amazing! There are some tourist attractions close by, but very far from historical sites. The room was ok, but it looked different from the pictures. Probably a bit of mold on the wall or water damage, dirty windows, and a piece of the wardrobe door was broken. Not what I would expect at a resort. The breakfast had so many options, but very few western choices, limited to sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits and coffee. The coffee machine always had an issue, but the staff quickly came to fix it. During my stay there, everyday someone complained about the coffee maker. One of the things that I found really nice is that every day they would bring or leave fruit in my room. But on the last day, I was sleeping, and someone came in. She did apologize, but it was weird having someone in your room while you’re there. In terms of amenities, they have everything really! From shower cap to razors. And the blow dryer was really good! Because it was golden week, the staff was overwhelmed with work (lots of guests and weddings) and they didn’t talk about the facilities - gym, pool, hot springs."

"We stayed at this hotel during the Chinese New Year holiday and had a wonderful experience. The hotel feels new and modern, with a delightful fragrance throughout—especially in the hallways. Our favorite aspects were the spacious room and the stunning bathtub overlooking the ocean. The kids absolutely loved it! The hotel's beachfront location is a major plus. Even though we visited in winter, we were lucky enough to experience snowfall on the beach, which felt surreal and added a magical touch to our stay. The indoor swimming pool on the top floor is decent, offering great views, while breakfast was plentiful and varied. We particularly enjoyed the pastries section. The Chinese restaurant next to the swimming pool is highly recommended—perfect for when you don’t feel like going out, and the food was delicious. The in-room dining service was also excellent. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning in the summer to try their outdoor swimming pool, which was closed during winter."

"The room was very clean and had two bedrooms and one living room. We brought two elderly people with us. The space was large and the elderly people lived very comfortably. The housekeeper was attentive and thoughtful. He sent us the address one day in advance and helped us turn on the air conditioner in advance. We didn't know how to use the TV, so the maintenance came to adjust it immediately. The elderly threw away their toothbrushes and they came to replenish them immediately. The location is good. There is a second canteen downstairs. It is also relatively close to the beach, more than 10 minutes away. We rented an electric car to take the elderly out to play, which is very convenient. I just didn't have time to take a video."

However, it's very close to the Eighth Canteen and the amusement park. Opening the curtains in your room opens onto the amusement park. Those without children might find the music and noise from the amusement park annoying. It's very convenient for those with children, as the amusement park is just downstairs. Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming, but their skills were different from those of typical hotel staff. They were friendly and helpful, but directions to the parking lot, bus stop, and breakfast restaurant were a bit unclear. Perhaps the hotel should provide maps or provide guidance. Cars are not allowed in the park, while other hotels use their own shuttle buses. Breakfast was at the ”Drunk” restaurant, and the rice noodles were excellent."
