Hampton by Hilton Qinhuangdao Jinmeng Bay

This is an established hotel, and the service, as always, was excellent. The breakfast, in particular, was very rich and varied. For those driving, parking is convenient. It's very close to the beach, about a seven to eight-minute walk, just across the road. Taking a stroll by the sea in the evening was incredibly pleasant. Around 5 AM, we had a bit of an issue. Perhaps the building is a bit old, but the roof in the entryway of our room started leaking. We used a trash can to catch the water. When we woke up, we informed the staff, and the front desk was incredibly friendly and immediately apologized. Overall, it was a good stay, and we were very satisfied with the hotel's service.

The single room was only 22 square meters, which felt small even for one person, let alone two. We had 8 people across 8 rooms. Three of us got free upgrades to nicer rooms. The other five felt a bit cramped in those 22-square-meter rooms. The main thing is there seemed to be plenty of larger single rooms available that weren't occupied, couldn't they have upgraded all of us?

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just across the street from Jinmeng Seabay Beach, making it super convenient for walks and watching the sunset. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, which made for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast offered a good variety of choices. The front desk staff was friendly, and check-in was smooth. Plus, there's free parking available. During peak season, there might be a bit of a wait for the elevator, but overall, it offers good value for money. This is my top choice for a seaside trip to Qinhuangdao, and I'd definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the beach. The breakfast spread was excellent, and even though it was crowded, the staff were incredibly attentive, quickly helping us find a table and clearing dishes fast. Everything was great, apart from the room being a bit small. 👌🏻

The hotel staff were incredibly dedicated. They called us a few days in advance to confirm our itinerary, and on the day of check-in, since we were arriving late, the front desk called again to check on our arrival plans. They even upgraded our reserved Deluxe Twin Room to the 11th floor. The room was huge and super clean, with plenty of charging outlets. The minibar even had complimentary drinks! The bedding was high quality and the mattress was comfortable. The 1.35-meter single beds didn't feel cramped even for two people. In the morning, you could open the curtains and see the calm sea. The breakfast selection was also quite rich. It was a truly high-quality stay.

We chose the Hilton Hampton Hotel for our beach trip with the kids because of its close proximity to the sea. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless. The hotel also offers free parking, which made getting around very convenient. The breakfast was also excellent! Highly recommended!

We chose a sea-view room this time, and my child was thrilled to see the ocean from the window. The room layout was decent, though a bit cramped for three people. Breakfast was as good as ever, with the noodles and wontons being particularly nice. The front desk service was very warm and attentive, promptly resolving any issues we had. I didn't catch the name of the lady at the front desk, but I'll upload a picture of her name tag to praise her.

I stayed on the 19th floor, the highest level, in a sea-view room✌️. It's directly opposite Jinmenghaiwan Beach, so you just cross the road to reach the sea. In about 3 minutes, you can be on the sand, perfect for a walk or collecting shells. You can catch the sunrise over the ocean directly from the room in the morning, and the sunset over the 'Orange Sea' offers an absolutely stunning view☀️. The hotel is conveniently located just 200 meters' walk from Xin'ao Underwater World. It's a 5-minute taxi ride to Xi Port Garden and 8 minutes to Maoye Tiandi Seafood Stall for dining and sightseeing – a one-stop shop!👍 There's ample parking right outside the hotel, making it very car-friendly, and they even have charging stations for electric vehicles. If you don't drive, it's easy to get a taxi to Pigeon Nest Park and Shanhaiguan. The room features Hilton's exclusive Serta mattress, which is perfectly balanced in terms of softness and firmness, ensuring a very comfortable rest after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the quality of the Peter Thomas Roth toiletries and Kohler fixtures is excellent. Breakfast is lavish, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western options. The freshly made seafood noodles and mackerel dumplings are local specialties. Desserts, fruits, and hot dishes are constantly refilled. My only complaint is that it gets a bit crowded.
