"If you are looking for an escape from the overwhelming cities (too much traffic, neon lights, noises, pollution…) you will find here a corner of paradise. The cozy atmosphere will make you breathe out all the stress immediately. The main presence of natural elements for the interior and exterior design, such as wooden and rocks, let this place integrate very well in the surroundings. Nature is the main presence here: you are surrounded by the woods, waking up only listening to birds singing. If you decide to walk the emei mountain and have sore muscles, you can enjoy the hot spring bath directly in your room. Your muscles will thank you the day after. The breakfast is done in a room where there is a huge long table, you might share it with others. This makes the atmosphere very familiar and friendly. Despite not speaking Chinese, we were welcome and felt home. I would definitely come back here if I am in the area."

"the stay was so so good! firstly, before our arrival date, the hotel contacted us on both trip.com & wechat, so our transport to the hotel from emeishan station was smooth. check-in was fuss free as well, and the front office lady xiaoshi was kind, warm, and gave us tips for our trip up emei. we could borrow the hanfu and took pictures in the yard and around the hotel. the facilities were clean, nice, and overall really cosy. breakfast was really good too. and if you prefer to go up the mountain earlier, the hotel will also prepare some light takeaways for you, and thats super thoughtful i’ve read reviews that the location was not as good as those around baoguo; but since we were travelling as a family, this place was peaceful, slightly quieter and very near huangwan visitor centre! To me this was equally as good as hotels that are around baoguo. the trip up emei mountain was quick and fuss free as well, since I got the tickets and boarded the bus from huangwan (about a 5-7 mins walk away from the hotel) which is not much different from baoguo. will definitely stay here again if im visiting this area :))"

"Service: First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience. Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service! Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay. Facilities: The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale. Location: About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient. Breakfast: Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting. Environment: The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall: The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied."

"Our entire stay was excellent. The hotel is located within a retirement community, with a shuttle service connecting the hotel and its lobby. Our butler was exceptionally helpful. The first floor boasts an indoor playground and Lego blocks, making it incredibly kid-friendly. Strongly recommended for anyone visiting Mount Emei with both parents and children."

"This is an elegant homestay in the mountains, very suitable for retreat and relaxation. The entrance of the homestay is hidden, and the environment retains its original ecology. There are butterflies, bees or insects flying among the flowers and leaves in the forest. It is quite pleasant to sit in the rest area facing the rolling mountains, drinking tea and emptying your mind. I like the path leading to the guest room. Bamboos and various beautiful flowers and plants are planted on both sides of the stone steps, which has the artistic conception of winding paths. The guest room is very spacious, the Zen design has an atmosphere, the dim lights are comfortable, and the house is also cleaned very cleanly. The owner had already lit the incense before checking in, which is a nice and elegant fragrance. Because it rained before, the outdoor environment was relatively humid, but it felt dry and warm when entering the room. It turned out that the store had placed a small dehumidifier. This is a humanized configuration that we have never seen in many years of travel. I was quite moved. This B&B is run by several young people. They are very hospitable and friendly. You can choose to pick up or drop off at the station. They also help carry the heavy luggage and walk a long and bumpy road to the guest room. You can feel their efforts and sincerity in service. The food in the restaurant attached to the B&B tastes good and the portions are large."

"We visited in early April. The weather was just perfect – neither too cold nor too hot, although we couldn't see the rice paddies yet as it wasn't planting season. Hotel staff mentioned that rice is usually planted in May, so the fields are visible from July to September. However, they also noted that it's typically very crowded during summer vacation, with the hotel often fully booked. We were lucky enough to experience both sunny and overcast lake and mountain scenery during our stay. Even on cloudy days, the misty atmosphere was absolutely beautiful! The Pinecone Room feels more like an apartment, complete with a small kitchenette. The balcony and private garden directly face the lake, and it was wonderfully comfortable to sit out in the garden when the weather was good. The restaurant offered an extensive menu with delicious food. It's open until 9 PM. (On our check-in day, we tried ordering takeout to the hotel in the evening, but it wasn't very convenient – options were limited, and delivery fees were quite high.) The scenic area offers a shuttle service directly to the cafe. Alternatively, walking to the cafe isn't far and allows you to enjoy the scenery along the way. We opted to take the shuttle up and walk back down. A perfect experience! We were reluctant to leave even at check-out and will definitely be back again."

"The hotel environment is quite family-friendly, offering indoor play areas for kids with Lego, foosball, and similar activities, plus outdoor children's play zones. There are outdoor hot spring pools available. The indoor pool, however, is a bit small and the water was really cold 🥶. Thankfully, the outdoor hot spring pools were wonderfully warm. The room itself was decent, but the air conditioning was incredibly noisy; I had to let the room get cold first and then switch it off. Breakfast offered a good selection, with most essentials covered. They also had local specialty noodles and 'chaoshou' (Sichuan wontons). If you're planning a trip to Mount Emei, I personally think this hotel is a solid choice. The staff were also very friendly and helpful."

"The surroundings are beautiful, with a bamboo forest right outside the window and a gentle stream flowing nearby. The accommodation is well-appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is served, which is a huge convenience given the somewhat remote mountain location where transport can be a bit challenging. For dinner, guests can order dishes to their liking."

"I was quite pleased with the room, and the service was excellent. Perhaps due to the mountainous surroundings, my child was bitten by an insect when entering the elevator. The staff acted very responsibly by quickly taking them to the hospital for medication. A little more attention to cleanliness details would make the hotel perfect. They also provided a ride to the high-speed rail station, and the driver was incredibly friendly and attentive, even helping with our luggage. While no place is absolutely perfect, their attitude towards resolving issues is what truly matters. We would definitely stay here again."
