Many stores, restaurants and facilities are just around. But you dont need to search for restaurants because directly in Teddy they cooked best chinese and western food for very reasonable prices. The ownres are great people speaking english, very hospitable and warm welcoming. They can give you advices about tourist attractions around. The meticulous attention to detail from the hotel staff was incredibly impressive – they thoughtfully reminded us of the pool opening hours and provided warm, professional service with a constant smile. The breakfast restaurant was a paradise for families: the buffet spread was extensive, featuring not only classic Western dishes but also authentic Sichuan flavors like spicy mapo tofu pudding, 'boboji' (skewered dishes), and beef noodles, which even the kids loved. What's more, they offered dedicated high chairs and even breakfast to-go, making it easy for families heading out early for a mountain hike. The parent-child entertainment facilities were excellent: the indoor heated pool had professional lifeguards and child-friendly swim rings, with comfortable water temperatures allowing kids to swim freely without a worry. The outdoor starry sky-themed children's playground, complete with slides, a ball pit, and climbing nets, had kids running around excitedly the moment they entered, leaving parents completely at ease. The hot spring area allowed us to soak while enjoying distant views of the Golden Summit, letting family time flow naturally amidst the mountains and waters. From small details to the overall experience, the hotel truly embodied 'family-centric' values – it wasn't just a slogan, but a genuine response seen in every smile, every meal, and every warm pool. This will definitely be our top choice for our next family trip!"

"The resort is huge and the service is excellent! They even gave us hiking poles and warming patches when they found out we were going to hike Mount Emei. The room definitely shows its age, and I was on the fourth floor, but thankfully the main entrance/exit is on the first floor since it's a sunken building. There's no elevator in the accommodation building. The hot springs are outdoors and open from 2 PM to 11 PM. Breakfast was great, from 7 AM to 10 AM, with dozens of options. The Bobo chicken and sweet skin duck were especially delicious."

The hotel's ambiance is superb, nestled among green mountains and forests. Its Zen-inspired design blends seamlessly with the natural landscape, creating a tranquil and peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. A stroll through the scenic views is truly therapeutic. The guest rooms are spacious and clean, with impeccable hygiene. The amenities are of high quality, with premium toiletries, bedding, and other amenities made with carefully selected materials. The private hot spring facilities are clean and comfortable, ensuring a truly comfortable stay. From service and transportation to accommodations and the overall environment, everything is top-notch. Whether for relaxation or a relaxing vacation, this is the perfect place. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Emeishan. Highly recommended! There's also a particularly pleasant bamboo forest boardwalk, and the hot spring pool on the balcony is perfect for lazy vacationers who don't want to travel!"

"Emeishan Grand Hotel: A Real Stay Review | Excellent Service, Great Value, but Hardware Needs an Upgrade We chose the Emeishan Grand Hotel for our family trip to Mount Emei. Overall, it offered good value for money, with both clear strengths and weaknesses. Here's an objective review for your reference! First and foremost, I must highly commend the butler service – truly exceptional and thoughtful! Even before we arrived, our dedicated butler proactively contacted us via WeChat, sending us a comprehensive travel guide for Mount Emei. They also arranged pick-up from the high-speed rail station. Upon arrival, our luggage was directly delivered to our room, making the entire process effortless and incredibly convenient. The service experience far exceeded our expectations – truly attentive and heartwarming. The location is superb! The hotel is diagonally opposite the Emeishan Scenic Area Passenger Transport Center, so you can catch a bus up the mountain right outside. There are also plenty of local specialty restaurants and snacks nearby, making both transportation and dining incredibly convenient. The hotel is a well-established four-star property and even offers intangible cultural heritage craft experiences, which are perfect for families with children. Our child had a wonderful time. The two most satisfying highlights were the hot springs and breakfast! The hotel has its own natural hot springs with excellent water quality and multiple pools. Children can splash and play to their heart's content – a fantastic experience. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and diverse, clearly meeting the high standards of a large hotel catering to groups. There was a wide variety of options, including authentic local Chengdu snacks like Bobo Chicken and Qiaojiao Beef Noodles, all with genuine flavors. The dining experience was excellent. However, there were also two clear shortcomings that significantly impacted our rest: 1. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, especially the room carpets, which had a strong odor. On the first night, we were given a north-facing room with no sunlight, and the carpet smell was pungent, making it hard to sleep. After extending our stay and moving to a higher-floor king room on the second day, the smell improved. I suggest the hotel urgently replace the old carpets and renovate the hardware facilities. 2. The soundproofing of the windows was poor. Even after moving to a better room, there was a persistent dripping or similar noise from outside the window throughout the night, lasting until past 1 AM. This severely affected our sleep and rest. We had hoped to relax after climbing the mountain, but we didn't get a good night's sleep either night, which was quite disappointing. Overall: The service, location, hot springs, and breakfast were all impeccable, and our child particularly loved the family-friendly activities. However, the aging hardware, carpet odor, and soundproofing issues need urgent optimization. If the hardware can be renovated and upgraded, it would definitely be the top choice for accommodation in Mount Emei! Overall, it's still recommendable, and we look forward to the hotel's future improvements."

Surrounded by the entire mountain forest, it feels like a natural forest oxygen bar with fresh air. The room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast had a rich variety of options and tasted great. "Our experience was fantastic from start to finish! The hotel contacted us proactively before we even arrived, and they had already turned on the AC, so it was wonderfully cool when we checked in. The kids absolutely loved it. Since the breakfast deal was 'two adults get one child's breakfast free,' and we have two children, they thoughtfully made an extra bowl of wontons for us. A huge shoutout to them – these wontons were freshly made and absolutely delicious!"

"American/European tourist family with several Mandarin speakers. We booked the courtyard suite with three rooms and we had an excellent experience. The facilities are beautifully designed and maintained - think Japanese stone garden level of thoughtfulness. We had a Mountain View with a good sunset but not sunrise view, and there were tables for eating and drinking tea everywhere. It was dusty though so we did wear our slippers, and for sure mosquitoes were around. Service was outstanding - front desk helped us get dinner delivered to our courtyard so ask for their restaurant recs. They also pick you up and deliver you to any nearby location (hot springs, train station) although we didn’t utilize this service. The hotel is a 3 minute walk away from the bus station to get up Emeishan which was perfect for our needs, but the surrounding area seemed a bit dead. A couple of convenience stores and restaurants. Maybe we went in the off season but it seemed odd."

There's a lake, perfect for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the views. The rooms are generally elegant, with a Chinese-style aesthetic. They come with their own private hot spring pools, or you can visit the hot spring spa center for a different experience – very relaxing! Breakfast and the dinner buffet were decent, and cleanliness wasn't an issue. The service was quite good; there's even a guest manager available for consultations. Overall, it's a pretty great place!"
