"Teddy Bear Boutique Hotel was a great place - a real family business. From check in to departure, the hosts were amazing. The son, who checked us in, spoke excellent English and helped us sort out all we needed. The home cooked food was delicious and very good value. The grandad came and chatted after we'd eaten. Again, a really lovely person. We left our bags in our room to be put into the bag store, as we were leaving early, at 5.30am, to go up Mount Emei. The bus station was 2 minutes from the hotel. When we got back, we had a well earned beer and another chat with grandad. Will definitely return one day - loved the hotel and the region."

"After coming down from Mount Emei, we decided to try this Forest Grand Hotel at the foot of the mountain! Overall, the experience was quite good. Choosing a grand hotel with a rich history like this one definitely offers peace of mind! It's not far from the Baoguo Temple Tourist Center, which is convenient if you're heading to the Golden Summit. The grounds are also very large, with a Hongzhu Lake where you can take a stroll and enjoy the lake view! The hot springs are in a separate building, and there's a shuttle service for transportation, which was great for unwinding. Breakfast is served in the Restaurant on Building 5, and I recommend trying the tofu pudding! The service was also excellent, with a guest relations manager visiting to assist us. You can also spot peacocks displaying their feathers and sika deer near the entrance of Building 5! The rooms maintain the grand hotel style and are well-maintained, which is a big plus!"

My favorite part was the forest hot springs – there are many pools with comfortable water temperatures. A soak after hiking washes away all fatigue. The service was excellent, breakfast was plentiful, and the room was spotless. During my three-day stay, I was pleasantly surprised to catch two days of complimentary buffet dinners during the spring holiday, offering a great variety of dishes. It was a perfect holiday experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Emei!"

After staying here, we truly believe it's a hotel with warmth that understands its guests: 1. Unlike other high-end hotels, there's no arrogance here. The lobby space is dedicated to guests, and the front desk isn't large but perfectly functional. The lobby features a kids' play area, a relaxing tea room, and very affordable arcade games. It's also pet-friendly (for those who worry guests might find pets dirty, are humans really cleaner? Or less prone to illness?). 2. Most importantly, the environment is excellent – clean and hygienic, showing a real responsibility to guests. The facilities are comprehensive, and the water in the heated swimming pool is changed entirely every day. 3. The detailed design is fantastic. It features smart controls; when you select 'sleep mode,' the annoying light from the switch panel also turns off, helping you sleep better. And surprisingly, the electric kettle can keep water warm continuously!"

Buffet breakfast had many many options. Customer service from Miss Xu (徐艳鹏) was excellent. I only speak a little bit of Chinese so communicating with her in English made my stay hassle free, as I got picked up from the railway station and received a few texts throughout to check if I needed anything."

"This hotel is perfect for a family trip with kids during the summer holidays. The grounds are lovely with lush vegetation and a winding small river. It's a large property, but the service is excellent. You can easily call a shuttle to get anywhere you need to go, which is super convenient. The children's activities are incredibly rich; after breakfast, it's pretty much non-stop attending them. You earn coins by participating in activities, which you can then redeem for gifts when you check out. My nine-year-old had a blast! The room decor is a bit outdated, as the hotel has been around for quite a few years, but the service more than makes up for it. Just a short distance outside the hotel is the Malu Bridge food street, offering many delicious and affordable local specialties! We'll definitely be back next time."

The whole family had a very comfortable and relaxing experience. What made our stay truly special was the incredible hospitality. A special mention to one of the managers, Wan Li, who went far above and beyond her duty. She helped us with translation, gave us great advice on places to visit around Emei Mountain and Leshan, and made sure we felt completely at ease throughout our trip. "On a spontaneous trip, I unexpectedly discovered this hidden gem of a guesthouse. The location is superb, just a three-minute walk to Huangwan Tourist Center. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. For someone who frequently travels for business, the comfort of the bedding is immediately noticeable. Good bedding leads to good rest, which is essential for enjoying the next day's adventures. The breakfast selection was rich, and although it was a set menu, the variety was thoughtfully put together. Some guests mentioned the portions were so generous they couldn't finish it all, and I even took some eggs and yogurt to eat on the go. The soy milk at breakfast was absolutely amazing! The owner said it's freshly ground every morning, which explains its delicate and silky smooth texture. With all these fantastic qualities, the handsome owner offering complimentary pickup and drop-off at the high-speed rail station almost feels like an afterthought, hahaha! Businesses that are thoughtful and high-quality truly deserve recognition! The account manager was very dedicated, helping us arrange a car to take our older child and luggage to the high-speed rail station, which saved us time after coming down from Emei Mountain. The resort grounds are huge, with a lake perfect for a leisurely stroll and enjoying the views! The breakfast also features local specialties, and the dining environment is superb! In the evening, my younger brother and dad went to building #7 for a hot spring bath, which was very nice! Due to time constraints, we didn't get to visit the zoo in building #8. The room itself was decent and standard for a guesthouse of this style; you can expect a reliable stay. If you're not driving and plan to visit Emei Mountain, this is a great choice as they offer high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off."

The bathroom is designed in black color, including the toilet bowl, which makes it difficult to tell whether it is properly cleaned. In addition, the water pressure in the bathroom is quite low. The hot spring is open-air and does not provide much privacy, so it was not very comfortable to use. The breakfast selection is simple but still nice and healthy, with items such as buns, potatoes, soya milk, and vegetables. The location is good and within walking distance to Baoguo Temple. The Emeishan Baoguo Temple bus station, which is the pickup point for sightseeing buses, is about a 5-minute drive away. However, walking there is not very convenient as there is only a road and no proper pedestrian walkway."
