"Very well located, the Hyllit Hotel can be found less than 5 minutes away from the Antwerp-Centraal train station. It is located in such a manner that you have a direct access to the historical centre of the city by foot, following a straight line. The reception was very nice, I was received by very professional people who took the time to explain every commodities available in the hotel, from the mini-bar to the Emerald Lounge, and even how to access the rooftop restaurant and the health centre. The room I was given was very clean, with different amenities available such as a TV with international channels (French, English, German), a coffee machine, and a phone."

"Had to book a last minute hotel because a change of plans. Everything else was booked or too expensive. This hotel was great, both in terms of price as well as quality! Staff is super friendly and helpful, location is great is the nice neighborhood of Antwerpen Zuid, many restaurants and supermarkets within a few minutes walking, comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a hotel to spend the night when visiting Antwerpen."

"The Ibis Budget near Antwerp Central offers a no-frills but perfectly adequate experience for travellers seeking a comfortable and convenient place to rest after a day of exploring the city. It prioritizes the basic necessities, ensuring a good night's sleep without unnecessary extras, making it an excellent option for budget-conscious travellers. Its prime location next to Antwerp Central Station is a major advantage. This provides easy access to public transport for exploring Antwerp and beyond, including direct Thalys connections. The rooms are described as modern and clean, which is crucial for a comfortable stay. While compact (around 13-15 sqm), they are designed to be functional, typically including a comfortable ”Sweet Bed™ by ibis budget”, a desk, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a private bathroom with a shower and eco-friendly toiletries. The room also features a separate toilet. For quick snacks and drinks outside of breakfast hours, vending machines are available but they only accept cash."

"Location is perfect, right next to train station. Room size is good, clean. Breakfast very good. Staff are friendly. They have 2 elevators, one was under maintenance, only one is working, it was very slow and it was small. Therefore, you may not get in the first lift, have to wait for couple times."

"The hotel is in an excellent location if you are working at the conference centre a Room with a Zoo, you have to walk one minute across the square. I ate twice in the restaurant, both times the food was mediocre (too much tomato sauce on pizza, very strange and poorly made carbonara with pasta that was dry due to being put under the grill). The breakfast was also extremely basic for 20 euros a day, one day the baked beans were empty the whole time I was there, several days most of the cherry tomatoes were wrinkled. The juices were nice and the bread was fresh. Overall, the staff seemed slightly poorly coordinated in ensuring someone was available at the bar and reception. The bar was frequently unmanned, and the reception was as well, it seemed like sometimes bar staff were spending time with friends. In addition, the bathroom in my room smelt, from the day of arrival. Overall the location is good and it seemed relatively clean, but the rooms are small, I would not eat here, but the bar is suitable for a drink."

"Hotel is located right in the centre of town and near to train station. Walkable location to all amenities and attractions with nice historic buildings and food streets. We enjoyed our Asian meals in a small and cozy restaurant suited in Chinatown which is within walking distance from Hotel. Hotel room is clean and chic. Nice stay and comfortable bed. 😇"

"The view room has a view of the riverside museum. It is very quiet and suitable for early morning jogging. It is very convenient for shopping. The rest of the hotel is normal for a budget hotel. The room is not big but clean. It is suitable for business trips."

"What we liked: Overall the hotel has ample, clean public space and the room was spacious with a separate toilet area, shower area and sink / vanity area. This made getting ready and using the facilities for two ppl easier. The room also had a fridge. The hotel is also right across the road from the main train station and a short 10 min walk to bus depot (Rooseveltplaats). So very good for traveling into and through Antwerp. For pre checkin and post checkout they offer private free lockers for your luggage. Through it is first come, first serve and they don’t have that many of them (we had no problems fitting a 40l bag, a 28l backpack and tote bag into one middle size storage cube). Small things that we didn’t like but can deal with: Limited in room amenities, there was no kettle or mugs, etc in the room. We were left a bottle of water but it wasn’t clear if it was free or not. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy (very quiet at night) but decently lite. They did require your room code to get back into the hotel after midnight. The hotel is close to the train station but farther from the old city. It is a good 20-25 min walk to that area. We are ok to walk, so didn’t mind much but it is further than some other hotels."
