"The stay overall was nice, had good breakfast, and great location. The rooms were really cold and the little electric heater sadly didn’t do us much justice. Maybe not ideal for colder seasons. Also the pictures didn’t clearly show that the shower would be in the room with nothing to cover the part? The pictures pf the room we booked showed a seperate bathroom so we were confused. Not ideal for family settings but we only stayed two nights which made it more bearable."

Amazing
EelvarnExcellent apartment right in the center of Antwerp. It's a bit awkward with heavy suitcases because the stairs to get in are steep. Otherwise, everything is superb: comfortable, warm, and stylish.

EEgor KrombergI had a mixed experience at Moxy Antwerp. On the positive side, the breakfast was really good, with a nice variety and quality. The location is also convenient: you can reach the city center in about 30 minutes on foot or 10–15 minutes by tram, and the largest museum is just a 5–10 minute walk away. There’s also a grocery store nearby that’s open on Sundays, which is very handy.
However, there were several downsides. The check-in process was slow - staff needed to verify something, and I had to wait in the lobby with my 5-year-old child instead of going straight to the room. The “welcome drink” was disappointing: after we had already chosen cocktails, we were told we could only pick from a single limited option. It felt misleading and poorly communicated.
Cleanliness was also an issue. There was a dirty table in the room, stains on the bathroom walls, and the room had an unpleasant smell - possibly due to pets being allowed, which raises the question of why carpet is used at all.
Overall, while the location and breakfast are strong points, the service and cleanliness need significant improvement.

JJ TripThe location was excellent — very convenient and close to everything we needed. However, our stay was affected by a few issues. The soundproofing of the room was poor; we were woken up around 6 a.m. by the clattering of dishes and cleaning noises from outside. It was difficult to rest properly.
Additionally, there were a lot of fruit flies in the room, constantly flying around, which was very bothersome and affected the quality of our stay. I hope the hotel can improve on these issues — otherwise, it’s a real pity given the great location.

DDuanbochaoThe room is very big, which is rare in Europe. Compared with the ordinary 18-20 square meters, it is like heaven. However, the facilities are a bit old. The private parking lot is underground. You need to go to the front desk to let them open the door. The underground garage is very small.

GGuest UserAmazing appartment, luxurious, clean, beautiful, everything you need in a home away from home. This was our second stay at Gulden Schoen and we will definitely come back again. The location is perfect, in the middle of the centre with bars, cute shops and coffeeshops, all in the same street and area.
Also great, friendly and fast customer service. 10 out of 10!

PPianist with no handsThe reason of booking this hotel was because of the modern and cool room design and its swimming pool.
However, the stay was bad. We stayed for three day, and didn't required for the cleaning service until day 3 morning.
And the unexpected sittuation happened. We had missing items on my cosmetic and massage products and tools.
We did contact the hotel for the investigation, but they did not do any investigation and only said I will be upgraded with breakfast for the next day.
The swimming pool needs to be booked before going, but actually no one managed and controlled the number of people using the pool.
It starts to get crowned for more than 12 people. The towels were on every sun bed, even no one was using them.
The check-in was not smooth and fast. It took an hour to access the room. I was charged the city tax two times, one prepaid online, another time on arrival.
Then the front desk requested me to send a formal email to enquire the hotel about the over charged of city tax, then the fee was waived at once in 15 minutes later.
The room key did not work with the first room then I was given a new room key for another room 15 minutes later
There were no chair / stool for the customers at the check-in desk, and the check-in process was so long and tiring.
I was not happy with my stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, very close to the downtown street, the room is also very big, but the decoration facilities are too old! The sound insulation is also very poor, and there is a dust smell when I walk in. It feels like a four-star hotel more than ten years ago, and now Samsung is a bit reluctant. And now when I wrote a review, I found that the room pictures and texts did not match, and it was actually very dark and old!

I would definitely book this hotel again and again if the service and terms would be the same.
Central located, check-in procedure was easy.
Bar with snacks/food/drinks was a excetional service :)
Tip The bathroom smell - Can be solved to change/clean the drain/sifon.
Tip: Airconditioning was'nt there or the instructions to put the airconditioning on was unclear. The room was too hot to sleepwell. Opening windows was a solution but then the sound of the voices among the streets was too loud.
Tip: Lack of service with our booking. While I was trying to pay in advance. There was a pop-up message that mu room with breakfast wasnt available. But the payment process was still ongoing. After that, I saw I booked a Superior Room without Breakfast. I was paying more for what I wanted in first instance. There was no solution from the Hotel and/or Trip.com.
