"We booked late because we weren't sure we were going to make it to the ticket gate in time since you have to buy a Yading ticket and ride the bus into this village. But we made it and it was a great choice. The staff were really friendly and helped us with all our requests. There is oxygen available for the rooms but we asked not to turn it on because we wanted to acclimatise to the altitude naturally. You can also have a great meal at the restaurant with some pretty generous portions. Would highly recommend!"

"This hotel is an absolute hidden gem I found on Ctrip! The convenient shuttle service made our journey so much easier and more relaxing. Every room boasts incredible, breathtaking views of Xiannairi Snow Mountain – the scenery is so stunning that every casual photo turns out like a professional shot. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the authentic home-style dishes, which were incredibly comforting. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided meticulous service. The highland barley field in the small courtyard adds a wonderful touch of local charm. The lobby facilities are excellent, and the fireplace creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The self-service laundry room is clean and well-maintained. It was an absolute delight to stay here!"

"I followed the advice in the comments section and proactively added the hotel's WeChat. It turned out to be an excellent decision and truly saved me a lot of hassle. With the hotel's guidance, my car was parked for free at a hotel near the scenic area entrance. Then, a staff member warmly drove me right to the entrance and even assisted with ticket purchases. I took the shuttle bus to Yading Village, Stop 2. Upon arrival, someone was there to pick me up right away, just a few dozen meters away. A quick side note: the shuttle bus driver was a bit too aggressive, taking over a hundred sharp turns, which left me feeling quite motion sick. Check-in was quick, and I was able to settle into my room for a much-needed rest. The room was clean and well-equipped, and the panoramic view of the vast highland barley fields outside the window was absolutely breathtaking. Before I headed out, a staff member enthusiastically shared useful travel tips and a local guide. It rained lightly in the scenic area, and when I returned in the evening, a steaming cup of ginger tea was immediately brought to my room. It was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. Staying at this hotel was undoubtedly the most satisfying choice of my entire Western Sichuan trip."

"First of all, it needs to be explained that Daocheng Yading Scenic Area is a problem with the scenic area, but the hotel is a bit passive.
Songzan's most important speciality in Daocheng Aden is that he can pick up and drop off the scenic spot by car, and the rest is not possible in any form. This is his uniqueness.
The facilities are great, the aesthetics are online, and the staff is very, very good.
Breakfast and dinner are slightly monotonous, but the quality is still very good. Especially beef is recommended.
The bad place is mainly to coordinate with the scenic spot. Songzan's guests are from Yading Village with other guests of the hotel. There is no other special pick-up channel. It costs 300 and 3000 the same treatment. Other exterior views of the hotel are the same. This is also an embarrassment for the development of this store."

"Although we felt a bit uncomfortable at high altitude, the hotel provided an oxygen machine and dinner that relieved much of our stress. The onsen spa was also a unique experience. We booked a room with an airport drop-off package, and our driver, Duoji, provided excellent service by assisting with our luggage to the check-in counter. Overall, it was an excellent experience in this high-altitude hotel and small towm."

"We stayed here for 2 night to explore Yading Nature Reserve. Overall a great place to stay.
+ The room floor was not too cold, the hot shower was working fine and strong, there is also a humidifier.
+ 5-minute walk to the Yading service center where you buy tickets and board the bus
+ Several supermarket and stores nearby (but didn't see a lot of restaurant options)

"The best hotel in Aden. After booking, a staff member contacted us and gave us a general introduction to the scenic area. He also picked us up and dropped us off in and out of the scenic area. I was shocked when I entered the lobby. There were many photos of the scenery taken in Aden, which were really beautiful. After entering the room, I was amazed that it was the best value for money. The environment was comfortable, the green mountains outside the window, and the river in front of the hotel were really a healing journey. I didn't do anything, and all the fatigue on the road was gone when I lay down."

MMeiyufeiThe room is located in Ren Village, very close to the Daocheng Yading Visitor Center, which made it convenient for going up the mountain the next day. The scenic area is about 3,000 meters above sea level, and there is basically no need for oxygen. The room gave me a bottle of oxygen to take with me when I go up the mountain the next day. They also gave me snacks and fruits, which was very thoughtful. I really enjoyed this hotel and stayed for two nights.

GGuest UserThe location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street.
Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops.
The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with ******* style design transporting us into a real local ******* family home without the need to be physically in Tibet.
The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to ******* culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird.
He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。
Cat is also a sacred animal in ******* culture.
The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny.
I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading.
Lastly, I would like to thank the Owner and his Sister for making our stay an enjoyable one.

NnelsonchanBefore booking a hotel, I always check reviews. Many guests praised the owner of Tule Boutique Hotel for being kind and hospitable. During the off-season, when many hotels and shops were closed, this hotel stood out with its surrounding affordable delicacies and high cost-performance ratio, so I decided to book it. Upon arrival, it exceeded our expectations – the rooms were clean, spacious, and hygienic. The area was packed with great food options, and attractions were easily accessible. The hotel also provided parking.
When departing, heavy snow led to traffic controls and road closures at Karazi Mountain and Zheduo Mountain, forcing us to delay our exit from Daocheng Yading. With many stranded tourists causing a surge in room demand, the owner, acting as an ethical businessperson, refused to raise prices and instead offered invaluable route advice. We sincerely appreciate her help. Following her suggestion to stay an extra day, we eventually left smoothly. During the delay, she even lent us the kitchen to cook.
Thankfully, we trusted the online recommendations and chose Tule Hotel. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Shangri-La. If I were to rate it, I’d give it A+++++! Once again, heartfelt thanks to the owner!

GGuest UserI am YS solo traveler but have lived in China for six months each year for 12 years. My fourth time to Yading to visit the fabulous park. I stayed at the Super 8 one night before going into the park. Then I stayed in the small yarding Village inside the park for one night and then return to the Super 8 again for the third night before departing yarding. The hotel was just great. Walk in town and main street with many restaurants in 2 minutes. Lots of feee managed parking behind the hotel. The value for money is quite good. I paid 183 RMB. my room was large very clean comfortable bed and I have no complaints. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip back to Yadin.

GGuest UserAt first, I didn't know what was needed within the scenic area and had to take a bus to get in at 4:30 that day. The hotel extended my stay by one day. Dinner was loose stewed chicken and mapo tofu. I didn't eat much because of severe altitude sickness. As a gourmet, I give the chicken soup a 90. The chicken was suitable, but the knife skills could be improved. The mapo tofu didn't use the traditional Sichuan tofu, so the taste was slightly worse, but it was completely acceptable. I had severe altitude sickness at night, and there was diffuse oxygen in the room, but I still couldn't sleep all night. It was a great irony for me, who has traveled around China and cycled the 219 road to Tibet several times. The male boss spoke good foreign languages, and the female boss was gentle and beautiful. PPongnarin LeelaumpikulThe sign board is in Chinese only. So, it is quite difficult for foreigner like me to get to the right building. Even my local taxi driver can not. Fortunately, the owner lady and friends are sittings at the roadside waiting for customers or passerby who looks for an accommodation.
The owner lady is very generous and servicible. She helps me carrying my big luggage from street to the homestay. She also show me how to use facilities in the room. She speaks only chinese but I can not. So, she suggest me to contact her via Wechat which I can use translation feature. In the morning before I am going to visit Yading Scenic Spot, she offers me an treking pole too. Nevertheless, Due to the early departure time of bus to Xianggelila, I figure out whether I move to stay in town for another day after finishing 3-day booking here. She asks me if I have nothing to do in town and decide to continue staying. She can provide a free pick-up to the bus station by her family car at 5.30 a.m. That is great.
The room is small and simple but tidy. Bed is firm and comfortable. It comes with electronic blanket which helps alot because it is freezing at night. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Hot water is provided all day in night. Shower pressure is strong and easy to adjust the temperature. However, bathroom and toilet are humid and difficult to dry because of the cold weather. Wifi is strong.

I would like to mention the front desk staff Wang Dui and Dian Zhu, who were very enthusiastic and took the initiative to change us to a bigger room and gave us a fruit plate in each room. I am very grateful to the two handsome guys for their enthusiasm, which deserves a reward. I will come to the hotel again next time, and it is worth recommending to all my friends on Ctrip.

LLaurentontherunRight in the center of Xiangelila town, 2min walk from supermarkets restaurants and even a Dicos! It's right on the road that will take you straight to the main entrance to Yading Scenic Area (about 6km, taxi 40RMB or 10RMB per person if carpooling). During check-in the nice ******* lady at reception upgraded my room at no extra cost. Place is clean above usual Chinese standards. If you want a heater is 5RMB per night, but the electric blanket was sufficient. Water is warm, but not scalding (personally I only take showers at +45 degrees, but it was enough to wash my face without discomfort). I was very happy with my stay so next morning I booked another night, rather than staying in Yading town. When I returned very late at night, and owing to my pickiness when it comes to food, the lady at the desk made me quick and delicious fried rice and wouldn't accept my money no matter how many times I offered. I would have stayed another night if I didn't have to leave next morning. Thanks for everything, I'll be back one day!

I booked a room at noon and arrived at Sangdui Town in the evening. It was just right for me to rest and adjust for a night, and then I set out for the scenic spot directly the next morning. Overall, the price/performance ratio is very high. Highly recommended!
