"An unexpectedly wonderful experience. I truly felt a sense of warmth during my trip. Originally, I just booked this hotel for an early flight the next day. I never imagined that every staff member would work so diligently to ensure guests' comfort. Regardless of whether it was their direct responsibility, they genuinely went out of their way to think of the guests. Leaving Daocheng in the cold winter, my heart was filled with the warmth of human kindness. On the first floor, there's a professional, complimentary oxygen bar, and the in-room oxygen diffusion system can reduce the effective altitude by over a thousand meters, allowing for a great night's sleep. The underfloor heating was powerful, and the room didn't feel too dry. Anyone who's experienced high altitudes will understand how valuable this is. The hotel prepared an abundance of fruits and snacks to combat altitude sickness, and Rhodiola oral solutions were placed at the elevator entrances for guests to take. They even offered late-night desserts, and the noodles and fresh vegetable juice at breakfast were absolutely outstanding. I'd long grown indifferent to breakfast at international five-star chain hotels, but I was genuinely impressed by the breakfast at this county town hotel. I also want to give a special thanks to the kind Brother Dorje. He truly wore many hats; from the moment we arrived, he was busy helping and hosting us, and the next day, we discovered he was also our airport shuttle driver. While his Mandarin accent wasn't always easy to understand, we particularly enjoyed chatting with him and listening to his stories about the ******* areas. Isn't finding these bright spots along the way the very meaning of travel?"

"We stayed here for 2 night to explore Yading Nature Reserve. Overall a great place to stay. + The room floor was not too cold, the hot shower was working fine and strong, there is also a humidifier. + 5-minute walk to the Yading service center where you buy tickets and board the bus + Several supermarket and stores nearby (but didn't see a lot of restaurant options) + Morning breakfast was good, hot and tasty + The lady boss and her brother were helpful in giving suggestions, arranging taxi to Daocheng for us, etc."

"We arrived before 11am and were given 2 upgraded suite rooms immediately. The rooms were clean, comfortable & huge. When our flight to Chengdu was cancelled, we needed to stay an extra night and the hotel was quite full. The counter staff was very accommodating, allowed us to continue staying in the suite & matched the discounted internet room rates. For free & easy travellers, having breakfast after 8am would be less crowded."

"We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Even though most of us don’t speak Chinese, one of our friends is Chinese and helped communicate with them. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel their sincerity and excellent service. They came to pick us up from the bus station, helped with our luggage and check-in, and even offered us welcome tea when we arrived. The lady we believe to be the owner was always smiling and going around to make sure everyone felt at home. She gave us excellent advice on how to trek safely in Yading. On our second day, when we decided to take a shorter route, she thoughtfully suggested that we prepare our luggage in advance and simply message her. She then arranged for our bags to be loaded and sent ahead from the nearest hotel bus stop, saving us the trouble of returning to the hotel ourselves. Such warm hospitality and thoughtful service made our stay truly special. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Yading National Reserve!"

"Staying at Qishan Yue in Daocheng at the end of December was a fantastic experience overall, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Yading Village. Here's a detailed breakdown: **Accommodation:** The guesthouse is centrally located in Yading Village, with rooms directly facing the snow-capped mountains. You can wake up to stunning, unobstructed mountain views just by opening your curtains. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with all necessary amenities, plus an oxygen concentrator and humidifier to help mitigate discomfort from the high altitude. In winter, there's even a cozy fireplace in the lobby downstairs, creating a wonderful festive atmosphere! **Service Quality:** The staff were excellent, proactively informing us about important park regulations and providing detailed route and time recommendations. They were also very helpful with luggage and patiently answered all our questions. If you wanted to go to the village supermarket, there was even a special 'dog navigator' to guide the way, so no fear of getting lost. **Dining:** You can simply scan a QR code to order meals right in the guesthouse lobby, saving time and energy looking for restaurants outside (especially crucial during the off-season when many village eateries are closed). They offer a diverse menu, from local hotpot specialties to homestyle stir-fries. A complimentary breakfast set is also provided, ensuring a balanced and nutritious start to your day. **Convenient Transportation:** The guesthouse is conveniently located right at the third bus stop within the scenic area; you literally step off the bus and you're at the entrance. To go further into the park, you can simply wait for the shuttle right outside the guesthouse entrance – it's incredibly convenient (just let the staff know in advance, and they'll help flag down the bus and remind you of boarding times). Finally, I truly believe you have to experience it yourself to really know how good it is, so I encourage everyone to check it out firsthand!"

"The hotel is near main gate of Yading National Reserve. You can go to ticket office by 3 minutes walk. But there's not much restaurant much nearby hotel, things quite expensive than Shangrila Town (Riwa town in Google). Receptionist can speak English and take care very well."

"It was okay. Would not book again. Unfortunately, this was one of our worse stays in China during our month long travel. There was an unfortunate plumbing issue (that they had no control over, totally understandable) but they moved us to a different room not listed with not as good of a view. And after asking and having to personally message the boss via WeChat received a 10% discount. The room was not very clean. Leftover tissues and hair in corners from the pervious person. The walls were thin enough to hear the neighbors. And we arrived to breakfast 30minutes after it started and there was very little left. I would be more gracious but this was also the most expensive place we stayed at. Did not meet my standards and would not stay here again."

From sheets and duvet covers to towels, everything was neatly folded. The housekeeping staff were very thorough and greeted us politely. ❤️ The front desk service was also warm and courteous. The staff were attentive, meticulous, and able to handle issues promptly and efficiently. Because my daughter sprained her ankle in the Daotian Yading Scenic Area, we decided to stay an extra day. During our stay, the hotel staff were very caring and concerned. The security guard in the parking lot was also very helpful, proactively asking about our hospital. It was very heartwarming. ❤️ A high-quality hotel with excellent facilities and services—I highly recommend staying here! ❤️❤️❤️"

"The hotel I booked is in the center of Shangri-La town, and it was pretty quiet at night. The altitude here is relatively low, only about 2900 meters. We drove from Xinduqiao, and the altitude along the way was a bit high. One of us experienced altitude sickness and felt very uncomfortable at night. We called the owner, and upon hearing about our altitude sickness, he drove us to the local clinic in the middle of the night. After getting oxygen at the hospital, we felt much better. We are incredibly grateful to the owner! The service was truly exceptional. I will definitely recommend your hotel to any friends visiting in the future."
