The hotel is excellent in every way and is very close to the visitor center. Most commendably, the proprietress is not only welcoming but also a model of integrity. I booked a room for the end of the holiday season, and the price was a bit high. When the hotel lowered the price just before check-in, the proprietress offered to cover the difference or provide three dinners (with a free soup pot) as compensation. I chose the latter, and both the matsutake chicken and beef soup pots were excellent. The hotel's in-house dishes are also delicious! Kudos to the proprietress for her integrity!

YYong Liang TehFor the price, the hotel is really value for money. The service is excellent and the hotel staff will promptly attend to your request. The lady boss even took the trouble to notify us when she noticed that our car lights were left on when parked. The bath is also good with rain shower and strong water pressure. There is also free laundry service and the staff provided extra hangers for drying the washed clothes. The bed heater is warm enough for a good night's sleep in cold weather. Breakfast provided is decent and hot. You can also buy oxygen at a super cheap price from the front desk. Besides the room decor being a bit dated and some maintenance are needed, this hotel provides everything you need at a really affordable price.

The location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street. Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops. The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with Tibetan style design transporting us into a real local Tibetan family home without the need to be physically in Tibet. The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to Tibetan culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird. He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。 Cat is also a sacred animal in Tibetan culture. The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny. I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading. Lastly, I would like to thank the Owner and his Sister for making our stay an enjoyable one. Best wishes to Owner and his Sister with excellent business ahead.

I am YS solo traveler but have lived in China for six months each year for 12 years. My fourth time to Yading to visit the fabulous park. I stayed at the Super 8 one night before going into the park. Then I stayed in the small yarding Village inside the park for one night and then return to the Super 8 again for the third night before departing yarding. The hotel was just great. Walk in town and main street with many restaurants in 2 minutes. Lots of feee managed parking behind the hotel. The value for money is quite good. I paid 183 RMB. my room was large very clean comfortable bed and I have no complaints. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip back to Yadin.

The price/performance ratio is very high. There is a snow-capped mountain outside the window. The boss is also very nice. I will stay here again next time.

I accidentally discovered this hotel during my trip and went there with great expectations. The overall feeling was good and the hotel staff were very enthusiastic. It should be a very photogenic place to take photos and check in.
