"A great choice for business trips. The room is spacious with a long desk. This time I stayed on the 6th floor and the hairdryer wasn't fixed, which was really convenient for drying hair. There's a free laundry room on the 10th floor. However, the room was a bit cold; even after turning off the AC, it was still quite cool, not sure why. I didn't book breakfast this time, and it costs an additional 100 RMB if you need it. The bathroom this time had a partition, which made it less awkward."

"For the price, this place was very disappointing. First surprise was when checking in, you're told that you have to hand your keys in whenever you leave. I asked why, and they said they don't want people copying the keys, but it certainly doesn't make me feel my stuff is safe when I don't have the key. Why they couldn't use a key card system like every other hotel, I don't know, but they wouldn't have that problem if they did. In any case, the locks are terrible. Like the kind for locking a bathroom door, it'd probably open if you rattled hard enough! The room itself clearly hasn't been redecorated in years, and looks tatty and everything is old and outdated. Worryingly, clearly there's a water leak from the bathroom and the corner of the wall on the bedroom side showed obvious water damage and looked damp. I think the room had been cleaned well enough but everything was so old, I didn't really want to touch anything. There was no quilt cover, just a sheet under it, so who knows how dirty that might have been. Likewise, there was a water cooler in the room rather than supplying bottled water, but I didn't feel confident trying it and bought bottled water from the shop instead. I think they'd tried to make an effort to make the rooms colourful. That was a focus of the room pictures and also they have photos of different room styles downstairs in the breakfast room too, but it just looks a bit weird. In my room, it looks like they found a random outdoors picture on the internet and copy pasted some random English text over the top. So, there's a full wall sized advert for a foreign internet company. It just looks tacky on a bedroom wall! The shower is over a bath, which is pointless as the bath is about 1m long and so nobody would fit in it comfortably anyway. Of course, there's no shower curtain so everything in the wet room gets soaked when you have a shower. Also, there's a sign by the toilet paper dispenser telling you not to put paper in the toilet, so I put my dirty paper in the bin provided. Was quite shocked that they don't clean the room daily as it wasn't a pleasant smell a day later. The breakfast was very basic Chinese style. I've enjoyed the Chinese breakfast in every other hotel I've stayed here, but here it's basically only rice, tofu and pickled vegetables. The location is good though. Close to the train station, and so near to all the sights as well."

"This hotel in Hsinchu is a bit older, but its location is excellent. It's just a 10-minute walk to the train station or the Chenghuang Temple commercial area. The windowless rooms on lower floors are a great value for money option for business travelers or backpackers. The rooms generally offer a good level of cleanliness and practicality. The service is also quite good, making it a suitable choice for out-of-towners or foreigners who are unfamiliar with Hsinchu."

"I loved my room - very spacious and it came with a balcony with a cycling padding machine. There are a few things which I dislike are 1.lack of socket outlet - this is very obvious at the work desk area. if I need to work, I need to remove the lights socket and replaced with my laptop plug. So I have to work in very dim condition or to work on bed. 2. height of the socket outlet at work desk area is a bit out - I had to adjust the desk in another direction in order to work. 3. the height of the seat at the work desk area is not ideal - way too low 4. hair dryer is driving me crazy - other than mini size, it stopped every other min. N it would start again after a few mins rest. Other than the above mentioned, I am still happy with the hotel. When I mentioned about the hair dryer issue, the attendants at the reception were very helpful - they passed me another normal size hair dryer. I would come back again."

"The front desk lady was very friendly. There's also an affordable, unmanned late-night snack bar on the first floor, which is quite unique. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, the cleanliness is excellent. In addition to the central AC, there's also a split-unit air conditioner that provides good cooling. We stayed with our child, and the room was smoke-free. Excellent value for money!"

"The hotel is very clean and has a convenient location, making it easy to get around. We would especially like to commend Cathy Lin for her excellent service. We encountered an unfortunate situation with another hotel guest, and she handled the matter with great professionalism and care. She resolved the issue promptly and even upgraded our room, which we truly appreciated. Cathy is also very attentive and proactive—always quick to respond and ready to step forward to assist whenever needed. Her service made a big difference to our stay. Highly recommended."

"It's about 50 meters from the train station, with a convenience store downstairs. I parked my car in a designated parking lot across the street, which gives me one free entry and exit per day. The room was small, and the hair dryer seemed broken, producing less wind than my mouth. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, with only half a glass shower area, leaving the floor completely wet after showering. Even with the air conditioner turned down to minimum, it still blew directly onto people in the distance, making it very uncomfortable. For two people on a weekend, the price was 3400, a very poor value. The breakfast was average."
