"I recently stayed at the Hamptons by Hilton Jining Canal Park and had a mixed experience. While there were some positives, there were also a few notable drawbacks that impacted my stay.
Positives:
1. Staff: The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were always ready to assist with a smile, which made the stay more pleasant.
2. Amenities:The hotel offers a good range of amenities, including, a well-equipped gym, and free Wi-Fi. These added value to the experience.
3. Breakfast:The breakfast spread was excellent! There was a wide variety of options, from fresh fruits to hot dishes, and everything tasted great. It was definitely a highlight of my stay.
Negatives:
1. Location:The hotel is located in a rural area, quite far from the city center. This made it inconvenient to explore local attractions or dine out.
2. Air Conditioning: The AC in my room didn’t work properly. Despite having the settings on the coldest option, it only blew out warm air. This made sleeping uncomfortable, especially during the night.
Overall, the hotel has its strengths, particularly in terms of service and amenities, but the location and AC issues were significant downsides. If you don’t mind being far from the city and can ensure the AC is fixed, it could be a decent stay."

The facilities and hygiene are all OK, the breakfast variety and taste are good, and there is a parking lot for parking."

JJessie Ly Doan 丽丽The hotel just opened in 2024, so everything is still very new. The reception is on the top floor (27th), along with the restaurant, gym, and laundry room.
My room was decorated in a B-Duck theme. It was super spacious and even had toys inside, which my child really enjoyed. Everything was cute and carefully arranged. I was surprised to see a Dyson hair dryer in the bathroom!
The breakfast buffet was delicious and had more variety than other hotels I’ve stayed at recently. I especially liked the instant coffee packets – very convenient, and not many hotels offer that.
There’s a free laundry and drying service, and they even folded the clothes and delivered them to the room after drying.
Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is also in a very convenient area, close to a supermarket and lots of good restaurants.
I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to Qufu.

MM255402****This stay completely redefined my hotel standards! Every aspect, from service to the smallest details, was a delightful surprise.
**Service Attitude:** Both the front desk and the cleaning staff were incredibly warm. They proactively helped with luggage during check-in and even thoughtfully gave a small gift at check-out, with smiles throughout.
**Hygiene:** The room was so clean it practically gleamed! Bedding was changed for each guest, and there wasn't a single water stain in the bathroom.
**Facilities:** The room had all the smart home amenities you could ask for, including voice-controlled curtains and high-speed WiFi. The biggest surprise was the terrace! It was perfect for enjoying the night breeze and views, and you could even have a DIY BBQ there – the ambiance was fantastic!
**Breakfast:** This deserves a special shout-out! The variety of breakfast options was dazzling. Besides the usual Western pastries and fruits, there were freshly cooked noodles, wontons, and even Lu cuisine specialties like Confucius Tofu and Kong Meng Cake (soft, sweet, and delicious). The beverage area offered freshly ground soy milk and local specialty green tea. I simply couldn't stop eating!
**Additional Experience:** The hotel lobby has a free traditional costume experience area. Wearing Hanfu for photos created such a wonderful atmosphere, with every detail perfectly executed!

GGuest UserOne of the beset Shangri-la stays in a long while. The service of the staff was top-notch from the start. They were ethusiastic and welcoming. They would go above and beyond to get things done and were friendlly at all times. The best thing is they would figure things out ahead for you so you don't have to think. Truly impeccable service. The Chinese Restaurant is also superb — one of the best Chinese restaurants we've had, anywhere!

MMalidaThe room was very satisfactory! Especially for breakfast, we could eat sweet potatoes from Sishui, which were really delicious. They were the best sweet potatoes I have ever eaten in my life, sweet and sticky.
In the evening, the hotel not only provided fruits, but also provided some longan and white fungus health porridge. Although I was afraid of getting fat, I couldn't resist the temptation and ate it.

MM273175****After scouring Trip.com, I found this hotel with incredible value for money! I stayed here for all five nights in Qufu, and it was so comfortable I didn't want to leave.
I had checked out a few other places before deciding on this one.
The accommodations are fantastic. There's a beautiful, well-lit courtyard in the center, and sunlight streams into the bedroom as soon as you open the door.
The bedding was very clean, and I especially appreciated the excellent drinking water setup. The room has a direct-drinking dispenser that provides boiling water in three seconds, so no worries about kettle hygiene. The soundproofing in the bedroom is great, and even the curtains are double-layered, which is super friendly for those sensitive to light.
I also highly recommend booking a room with a small balcony! It doesn't cost much more, and the room is huge, the bed is super big, and it even has a projector! For the same price, staying here is simply amazing!
When you don't feel like going out, you can head to the bar and lounge area downstairs. They have billiards, karaoke, board games, and you can grab a drink – they have it all. According to the owner, the hostel has been operating for many years, and he even showed me a thick guestbook. If you're interested, you can flip through it and leave your own message.
On the first day of my check-in, a kind front desk lady assisted me, and the owner helped me with my luggage. The overall stay was superb, and the hotel staff are very friendly. You can tell the owner if you need anything. If I get a chance to visit Qufu again, I'll definitely stay here!
Regarding the location: Yan Temple is right across the street, making it one of the three closest hotels. To get to the snack street or Confucius Temple, you just need to scan a shared bike at the entrance, and you're there!

DDaixiangA family of three came to Qufu for a pilgrimage and stayed at the Xingtan Hotel, which is definitely one of the wisest decisions on the trip! The hotel is close to the Confucian Temple, the environment is quiet, the design is elegant, but the most I want to like it vigorously, I must be alone. It is the hotel's parent-child room and butler service. The butler is exclusive to the docking, very kind! Actively ask about the itinerary, provide information on attractions and nearby food, use the wontons in the hotel at noon, the small fried yellow beef meat is fresh and tender, and the thick chef's wontons 300 meters away from the hotel at night. The hotel also provides yogurt and pastries, fruits and souvenirs at night.
I spent a total of one and a half days in Qufu, visiting Qufu Sankong, Luohe Ancient Street, and Confucius Museum ☺️

WWubaiqiangDespite having visited Jining many times, this was my first stay at this hotel, and my overall experience was excellent! A special mention goes to Mei Yuan, who handled my check-in. She was consistently smiling and incredibly patient, making us feel exceptionally welcome. She assured us that no request was too much trouble and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Such dedicated staff truly deserve praise! Even after her shift, she remained readily available, answering questions and fulfilling requests. As a frequent business traveler, I can honestly say that it's rare to find an employee as responsible and attentive as Mei Yuan. I was thoroughly impressed! My only suggestion for improvement would be the hotel's breakfast; it felt a little underwhelming and didn't quite live up to the high standards of the rest of the hotel. I hope this can be enhanced.
