There were beach discount coupons available at the front desk. Breakfast was free, and we also ordered seafood noodles, which were delicious. The guesthouse was quiet at night. We had pre-ordered dinner, and the owner cooked it for us when we arrived. It was hot and delicious. The menu prices were reasonable and clearly marked, so there was no overcharging. The seafood was very fresh and more affordable and tastier than what we could find at other restaurants. Today, we checked out and bought tickets for the overnight ferry back to Shenjiawan. We left our luggage at the front desk and played cards in the guesthouse until almost 6 PM before leaving. The owner was very kind and didn't kick us out or charge us."

The view is a definite highlight – absolutely breathtaking! You get stunning vistas of the blue sea, with fishing boats and cruise ships passing by directly in front, making it incredibly photogenic. While the guesthouse's restaurant is quite pricey (about double the cost of external seafood places), it offers comfortable, convenient, and clean dining, and you get to enjoy those fantastic sea-view tables. For more affordable seafood, I'd suggest checking out the smaller restaurants around Dawang Beach. The room amenities were generally excellent, with smart toilets and automatic curtains. My only minor complaint was the air conditioning, which was quite noisy. For a truly relaxing escape, a two-night stay would be ideal."

"Overall, I am very satisfied. The homestay environment is especially suitable for my lazy holiday travel. Because I chose to travel on a staggered peak, the boss was super good and gave me a free upgrade to the sea view room. So I stayed at the homestay for most of the days. I wish I had taken more photos of the hotel and the. room we stayed in. the hotel has a homey and welcoming feel. the beds are very Comfortable and the water pressure is good. the decorations are designed to make you feel the seaside feeling of the island. this hotel was so clean, the daily upkeep was meticulous even with my sandy children coming in from the beach, each time we returned to the room it was spotless. the owner of the hotel went above and beyond to help us understand the bus and ferry booking, he gave the best tips on where to go and what to see. there the island itself was busy but we found the beaches empty and the children had a Wonderful time playing in the waves. I will return and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to relax.

I stayed in Other People House on my second night. This is an excellent place to stayI stayed in Other People House on my second night. This is an excellent place to stay as it offer a great view overlooking the beach and harbor. The vibe is very different from my first night stay which happened to be next door neighbor. The people here know what makes the customer happy, they upgrade our room when it is not full occupancy. This place is more homely and comfy and you can just chose to laze around on the ground floor in front of the big projector screen to watch a movie or at a quiet long table for reading, or just to day dream while looking out at the sea. The precinct has a nice cozy area for meals too.
