"This was our favourite hotel in all of Sichuan, and for the price we paid, we feel like we got the best value. The views and spaciousness are what wins this hotel this rating for us. The window in the shower was such a luxurious experience. We extended our stay by 2 nights because of this wonderful experience! "The front desk staff here were exceptionally helpful. They specifically showed me different rooms, including those with different orientations, and both king and twin bed options, displaying great patience throughout. The front desk service definitely deserves high praise. The hotel's hallways have a nice ambiance, and at each corner, there are clear signs indicating the room numbers for that section, which made finding my room much quicker. They provided both white and grey slippers, differentiating between male and female use, which was a thoughtful touch. The beds were also very neatly made. The room I stayed in also had good cross-ventilation, ensuring excellent air circulation."

"Fantastic hotel with polite, attentive staff. The view from the room is really nice and the hotel has a nice tranquil feel to it. Outside the hotel there's a few restaurants, bubble tea shops and a convenience store. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and big bath. The mini fridge was restocked daily with sparkling water, Costa coffee and beer. The breakfast was very tasty and although it was a set menu, there's plenty of choice and the menu was rotated between two options so you didn't end up with the same breakfast daily. There's clothes washing facilities on site with complimentary detergent and softener, which is great for us (we like to travel light). Overall a 5/5. If I had to be picky, my only issue is that I never did work out how to open the voice controlled curtains."

"I came to Xichang for a marathon and booked this hotel in advance. The location is excellent, right behind Wanda Plaza. Within 500 meters, there are all sorts of great restaurants. In the evenings, you can also walk to Tangyuan for a stroll. The hotel is about 2 kilometers from the marathon starting line, so walking there in the morning served as a good warm-up. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. When they heard I was running the marathon, they were especially enthusiastic. The hotel even prepared breakfast for us participants ahead of time. The rooms are spacious, facilities are quite new, and the decor is good. It's clean and hygienic, no issues there. There's a smart TV and a smart toilet. On the eighth floor, there's a well-equipped laundry room and gym, both of which I used. What's a bit quirky is that the lobby for Datang and the Ji Hotel are combined. You can't tell from the outside; you have to walk through the Ji Hotel's lobby to find it."

"More like a resort than hotel. Huge private property really easy to get into and parking outside or underground. Outdoor restaurants, beautiful pool, several restaurants on the premises. Professional, welcoming, staff go out of their way to help with anything. Room super spacious and clean as a whistle. I stayed two nights earlier at Holiday Inn and it was an absolute filthy dump. The Clarion was Five out of Five in every category and just about the same price as the Holiday Inn. Don’t even need to think about it - Clarion for sure"

"Overall, I am quite satisfied with it. However, the hotel is semi-open. The room we stayed in faced the commercial street and was on the second floor. There were bars and restaurants everywhere. It was very noisy at night. The door to the balcony was broken and could not be closed. There was also a big brother quarreling downstairs in the early morning. I was really impressed. The sound was like it was right next to my ear. Earplugs were prepared in the room, but to be honest, it didn't help. I was surprised to have a good night dessert, but only one was delivered the next day and I didn't know how to divide it. After asking by phone, it was delivered quickly. As for breakfast, it felt very simple. I thought there was no set meal on the first day and didn't ask about it. On the second day, someone came to ask whether it was Chinese or Western. P.S. The speakers were quite a surprise."

The room was also super clean and modern. Extra fun was the little cute robot that came and delivered the food to the room. This was my second time staying at this hotel. Thank you for a great stay!

TTanlaoThe second time I came to Xichang, the Bohai Hotel was full, and I booked this one. I didn't expect it to be very good! It is a Chinese courtyard, no matter the decoration in the room or outside the room, it is very exquisite and careful, it can be said that one step at a time. There are also many varieties of buffets for breakfast. It is very close to Bohai Wetland Park and Dashiban Village. To be honest, I didn't go, I just soaked in the hotel.

Last year, my best friend and I stayed at the Heyue Hotel when we visited Xichang, and we loved it. So this year, my husband and I chose Heyue again. The rooms at Heyue are elegant and cozy. I especially liked the rooms with courtyards, where we could quietly enjoy tea and conversation in the afternoon. The breakfast was fantastic—a wide variety of delicious options; I wanted to try everything, but my stomach couldn't hold it all. Also, Heyue has very spacious public areas. Besides the front and back gardens and the central courtyard garden, there's a large tea room where you can read. They gave us a souvenir when we left, and thoughtfully provided bottled water for our journey. I'll definitely stay at Heyue again next time I'm in Xichang.

Starting from the registration at the front desk, the staff member Xiao Tang was very enthusiastic, checked in quickly, and also introduced the hotel facilities attentively. When we have questions or consultations, they respond quickly and give very practical suggestions, which immediately brings them closer to customers. When you walk into the room, the first thing you feel is cleanliness. The beds were made neatly, the supplies were in order, and there was no peculiar smell. The room is warmly decorated and the lighting is just the right brightness, making people relax instantly. The bed was very comfortable, the mattress was just the right hardness, the quilt was fluffy and soft, and I had a great sleep all night. The hotel offers a wide variety of breakfast options, including bread, eggs, fruits and hot porridge. The taste is also good, meeting the needs of different people. The restaurant environment is clean and tidy, the waiters clean up the tables in a timely manner, and the dining experience is particularly good. Taking all aspects into consideration, this hotel is extremely cost-effective. The price is reasonable, but the service and facilities are far beyond expectations. I will choose this place next time I travel!

In the morning, there was a driver to drop off the plane. Breakfast was at 5 o'clock. The food was not too much, but it was already very good. I was very satisfied with a stay.

I heard the guesthouse offers shared meals, but I didn't participate. The atmosphere was quite nice, with lots of chatting and laughter. There's a pool table on the third floor, but no one to play with me! 😂 Downstairs, there's a very cute blue cat. When I came back from Silver Beach in the afternoon, it was all alone, so I petted it, and it immediately became very friendly. When I sat down, it came closer and rubbed against me. ☺️ It even jumped onto the table and nuzzled my shoulder! 😀

The hotel has a Southeast Asian resort style as a whole, the greening is very mature, there are many palm trees and open lawns in the courtyard, neatly maintained and clean, and you can smell a faint flower fragrance on the road. The sea view room I stayed in this time, opened the balcony door, the view was very wide, I could see a large area of the Bohai Sea, and the effect of watching the ”sea” was first-class. If there is mist on the lake in the morning, it is like ink painting; in the evening, blowing the hair on the balcony to see the sky changing, it is very healing. Downstairs is the Yinlin Beach.
