"The room directly faced Mount Yotei, and during my three-day stay, I enjoyed perfect views of both Lake Toya and Mount Yotei. Although the room facilities were a bit dated, the view more than made up for it. The hotel's large public bath was excellent; I tried both the rooftop and basement ones. Soaking in the outdoor bath on the rooftop while admiring the beautiful Mount Yotei was an amazing experience. The hotel dinner offered a great selection of sashimi. Breakfast was a bit average, especially since the automatic coffee machine inexplicably lacked latte, a standard milk coffee option in five-star hotels worldwide. However, the variety of salads at breakfast was a plus."

"Hotel is just right in front of Lake Toya and opposite hotel has few eateries and 7-11. The buffet dinner is really superb. A lot of choices and every single food I taken is all too yummy 😋 Hotel even ready a surprise cake during I enjoy my dinner. Taken a nice photo, make it in frame with nice writing and send me the next morning. This really made my birthday extraordinary🥰🥰🥰 Hotel has fireworks at night. We really enjoy the top amenities here❤️"

"The location is fantastic, right on Lake Toya. Our room had direct lake views, which was lovely. It's a shame it was quite cloudy for both days of our stay, so we missed out on the spectacular view of Mount Yotei – a bit of a pity. The hotel's buffet dinner was very reasonably priced with a good variety of options. The onsen (hot spring) also offered beautiful views. Plus, you can watch the fireworks directly from the lakeside."

"This is my second time staying at this hotel! I stayed here once in November 2023 and found it to be excellent value for money with impressive aspects across the board. So, when I came back to Toya, I naturally chose this hotel again! The location is quite central and convenient in the Toyako Onsen area. It's very easy to find places to eat, close to convenience stores, and a short walk to the boat pier. Plus, there's a 'Sakuramachi' bus stop right outside. The hotel isn't small, with many rooms and two onsen baths: the Cave Onsen and the Clear Sky Onsen. Both are genuine hot springs and very comfortable to soak in. You can also pay extra to book a private onsen, which is great for families. Although the hotel is a bit older, it has maintained its service and cleanliness, giving it that classic Japanese onsen ryokan feel that I really love. The lake view is superb, and on a clear day, you can easily see the beautiful Mount Yotei from your room! Overall, I think this is the best value-for-money hotel in Toya! Friends who enjoy the Japanese onsen ryokan style should definitely give it a try~"

Outside the large public bath, complimentary drinks are available, along with table tennis and arcade games, adding a playful touch to your relaxation. The lobby features Japanese snacks and board games, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere; the relaxation area on the second floor is even more serene and comfortable – once you sit down, you won't want to leave. The dining experience here is simply sublime. Various alcoholic beverages are kept in ice buckets, freely awaiting wine enthusiasts! Dinner is exquisite and innovative; each dish is a stunning work of art, so delicious that it makes you want to return just for the food. Breakfast is delicate and abundant, awakening your taste buds and setting a wonderful tone for the day. The shiso soda thoughtfully provided in the in-room mini-fridge is incredibly refreshing after a hot spring soak, leaving a lasting, pleasant aftertaste. The toiletries have a delicate fragrance, leaving the skin soft and comfortable after use – even these small details are not overlooked. The overall service is friendly and sincere, without being overly familiar, yet maintaining just the right amount of professionalism. It truly feels like a 'just right' luxury experience! The hotel's surroundings are quiet and pristine, and transportation to and from the lakeside is convenient. Whether taking a taxi or using the hotel's shuttle service to JR Toya Station, it's effortless. It feels like Hotel Premium Lake Toya is not just a hotel, but a cherished memory of a journey. Here, the scenery is more than just scenery, and the service is more than just service – it's a reason to return to square one and rediscover the beauty of life."

"This hotel is very good place, we can take a good view in the morning. The room is very spacious including bathrooms too, but I just have a little bit commend for the bed if possible to change the bed to more comfortable I will appreciate it. Front service is good, they text to remind the time to check-in. This hotel has not elevator but it had only two floors."

"The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped at all. Having a private onsen right outside the door with lake views was amazing. The public bath was particularly great; all the toiletries were Pola, and it was very clean. The hotel wasn't crowded, so it was very quiet. The only downside was the dinner from the two-meals-per-night plan. It was really greasy and not very tasty. You could tell the chef put a lot of effort into trying to make common ingredients delicious, but there were far too many dairy flavors, which made it quite sickly. The staff were all very friendly and polite, helping with sending our ski gear and carrying luggage. Definitely a good choice for a vacation."

"This hotel is a hidden gem where I stayed for three nights. It has four floors, with the entrance and front desk located on the second floor, accessible by an elevator. On the first floor, there are separate male and female onsens (hot springs), each with three indoor baths and one open-air bath. The changing rooms are equipped with washing machines and dryers (laundry costs a very affordable 100 yen per wash, and you can buy a laundry pod at the front desk for 100 yen). The hotel offers a set breakfast (included with the stay) and dinner (can be added on arrival for 3300 yen per person), both served individually rather than buffet-style. Breakfast times are 7:00, 7:30, or 8:00 AM, while dinner is at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, or 7:30 PM. There's a friendly Chinese-speaking staff member from Beijing at the front desk. The guest rooms are Japanese-style tatami rooms, offering views of Lake Toya and a popular photo spot. Each room includes a safe, kettle, cold drinking water, sterilized cups, a writing desk, a table lamp, a massage device, and lotion, among other amenities. The hotel also features a coffee bar and a souvenir shop near the front desk. Each room has a toilet and a sink, but no shower. The only downsides are that the entrance door to the room and the bathroom door are quite low, probably around 1.8 meters, and there's no drying room for ski gear (though with permission, you can place your ski equipment on the floor in the front desk area). The air conditioning has three powerful settings, so it never felt cold. The windows are double-paned."

"The location is convenient; you need to take the Donan Bus from the JR station, just two stops to the hotel entrance. The hotel is by the lake, with beautiful scenery, and you can watch the fireworks from the hotel at night – it's amazing. The front desk staff provided detailed information, including the specific times for watching the fireworks. The hotel has indoor and outdoor hot springs, as well as a sauna. We booked one night's stay with two meals included; dinner was plentiful, while breakfast was slightly less impressive, but both were delicious. The hotel is quite old."

"This hotel offers incredible value for money! It's right on Lake Toya, and the bus stop is literally a few steps from the entrance, with direct service to the JR station. The absolute highlight, though, was the breakfast and dinner – both were delicious and perfectly suited to Chinese tastes. Highly recommend!"
