"Beautiful cabin, bright room, great location on the west slope, close to a beautiful sandy beach with colorful fish stocks. Most of the staff were friendly, the cleanliness of the room was adequate. The biggest problem was some unpleasant guests. It was a nice stay. Thank you very much for that."

"Starting with the positives, Tolani resort has really friendly staff who bent over backwards to make your stay pleasant. It also has beautiful rooms our bungalow was clean and comfortable with good aircon and a very comfortable bed. It gave a feeling of luxury though the water pressure in the shower was really bad. It’s outside of the rooms that this resort falls flat.
Tolani is positioning itself as a luxury resort and with a high price point to match but for the money it doesn’t deliver. The resort is supposedly on the beach but in reality the beach is not easily accessible from the resort. You can climb over rocks and swim over to the beach but it’s not easy. This means you will not have any sun loungers on the beach which can be an issue as the pool area is very small with only a handful of beds there. It’s also what you want from a beach front resort.
The food at the resort including breakfast is very poor but very expensive. Thankfully there are great restaurants nearby but we didn’t have a single good meal here. Drinks and food are massively overpriced for the island too.
We also had a poor experience at checkout. We had given our scooter back to the hire place but needed to head to the shops and so my wife asked if it was possible to get a taxi. A kind member of staff offered to run her up the road quickly in their car which we assumed was just a kind gesture. On checkout they charged us 15 euros for this trip. That’s an outrageous price for a 5 minute ride down the road but it also wasn’t communicated to us that we would be charged at the time as we wouldn’t have agreed. When we challenged this they told us we had to pay. It left a really bad taste in the mouth and it showcased this place is mainly looking to make money off its guests and not about creating a good experience.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here because there are better resorts for the price point and the food and facilities are both sorely lacking. The lovely staff are not enough to save the price gouging happening here."

"This resort is really fantastic!
It's a shame that I only booked 3 nights.
The bungalows are simple, but nicely furnished and, above all, absolutely clean! The bathroom is nicely decorated, with a mix of different materials.
The air conditioning worked well and was not loud at all (as others have written).
The highlight here is the beautiful palm garden, which is looked after daily by the staff.
The beach is also very nice and clean. Depending on the tide, the beach is wider or almost non-existent (at very high tide). At high tide you can swim almost from the start, at low tide you have to walk a little outside and keep your eyes open (there are some larger rocks/stones).
At breakfast you can choose what you want, and you can order several things. At best, fresh orange juice and whole grain toast could be offered (there is just white toast and normal orange juice).
The owner and the whole family are very nice and take very good care of the whole complex.
The dinner is also good, but for a change you can also go to one of the restaurants on the main street, these are also very good.
The location on the island is also good. You can quickly reach other beaches or one of the three waterfalls here on a scooter.
Definitely a place I would like to return to."

"The wCham’s house is a wonderful place , very well located on great beach …
But … the staff doesn’t speak very well English ( apart from the responsable persons in every service) .
But gettinginformation at the reception is very difficult and getting g the right info at the restaurant ( apart from the menu) is also not possible.
The management should really invest in English courses for their staff , as well as invest in the maintenance ( very , very poor) .
It looks like that after the pandemic, the owners of Cham’s house want to earn a maximum of money , without investing..
it’s a pity that this wonderful place is loosing it’s glamour .."

"This hotel is perfect for this island. Everything was beautiful. We had a slight hiccup at the check-in, but manager Vince settled the issue in a very professional way. He was kind and he listened and acted accordingly. I really appreciated that.
They do have the best bar in the island with the most attentive bartenders. The drinks was so pretty and delicious. I strongly recommend this hotel I know I will come back."

"The environment did not have to say, open the door is the sea view, the hotel breakfast is a set meal, the choice is effective, but the lunch is still very delicious, the price is a little expensive, but it is acceptable. "Great hotel! Very beautiful area by the pool and the sea, especially incredibly beautiful in the evening. The prices in the restaurant are adequate, inexpensive and everything was delicious to us! Cocktails are also very good. Breakfast is quite poor, but there is something to eat. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Having swept around the island, we realized that this beach is the best) there are no shops and cafes near the hotel (it takes about 15 minutes to walk, probably). We always ate at the hotel. Rented bikes directly at the hotel for 300 baht/day. The bungalows, of course, are very interesting: they are made of wood, the audibility is very good, but this did not bother us. At night, it's fun to listen to the sounds of the jungle. Sometimes it was scary that someone would crawl into the house, as they wrote in the reviews, but we didn’t have any “guests” at all. We really liked everything. We will definitely come back here again!"

"All liked it! But I will write a little about what could have been done better, so that the hotel knows where it can grow.
1. It was a little difficult to communicate with the staff and communicate with them by mail (when I wrote with a request to reserve separate beds for us in advance, they told me - hello! If such a room is free, it means it will be, if it is busy, it means it will be busy.)
2. Sunbeds. There are fewer sunbeds than hotel guests, and therefore when we arrived at one o’clock in the afternoon, all the sunbeds were occupied by someone: people simply threw their towels at breakfast and went somewhere for the day. That is, the sunbeds were all occupied, but they were not used. Perhaps if we added 4 more sunbeds it would be better.
Otherwise, the hotel and location are so good that I would return there again. The rooms are perfect, the breakfast is good, everything is incredibly beautiful and well maintained."

MMariia_KisI can't call this place a hostel, because many hotels are much worse. This hotel is part of the island's hotel chain (Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Wendy's, Tenkerbell). And it left the most pleasant impressions: fresh renovation, everything in the room is thought out to the smallest detail, a beautiful beach is 3 minutes' walk away. It is located in a picturesque place near the river, there are shops, an exchange office and several cafes nearby, on the territory of the hotel itself there is a separate room with a microwave, toaster, dishes, as well as unlimited freshly brewed coffee, cocoa, tea, ice, in the mornings they serve breakfast of your choice in containers. Very nice girl at the reception with a cat. We will definitely come back.

CCunA very perfect resort, the hotel is in an excellent location, I like the villa design and decoration style, the important thing is to pay attention to details and quality, of course, environmental protection considerations; the staff is very friendly, and introduces the hotel facilities to guests when checking in. The beach is also perfect, and I want to rest and enjoy the beach and sunshine every day; the holiday home has its own dedicated swimming pool, and the bedroom and bathroom are designed and decorated to make the guests comfortable; the SPA service provided by the hotel is more expensive, but it is also enjoyable. There is a desire to sleep in the soothing music, and the technicians have high professional skills; the breakfast is very good. It happened to encounter a free kayaking activity. Since it was the first time to experience this sport, I started to adapt a little, but I soon became proficient. The staff led in front and was very responsible. The experience of this process was very good; the breakfast dining environment was comfortable, and you could also enjoy the beach view while eating breakfast; after checking out, the hotel car and service staff sent you to the pier of the island. Thank you very much for the warm reception of the staff.

AAnonymous UserI agree with all the reviews about the friendly attitude of the hostess. Thanks to her for helping with some issues. We had a clean, fairly large room, a good bed and bed linen. The air conditioner is well adjusted, it doesn't blow on the bed. Breakfasts are delicious, from the menu, but there's not much to choose from: either scrambled eggs or fruit or pancakes/waffles. But we weren't hungry. There was no refrigerator, but you can leave it in the refrigerator at the reception. And without a bike, it's still far to the sea, you can't stay in the heat.

KKrisDThere aren't many options on the island to accommodate a large family in one place, and this house was a great choice for us. The villa accommodated our entire large family, and although the bungalows are quite simply equipped, the area around is simply stunning - green, well-kept and cozy. The hotel is located on one of the best beaches on the island, next to which there is all the necessary infrastructure. A great place for those who are looking for accommodation for a large group and do not require too many sophisticated amenities, but appreciate nature and location!

VVenti.JWe stayed at Bunyagard for a week in February. There are 8 cozy bungalows (2 rows of 4), each with a charming feel.
Free water, tea, and coffee available around the clock.
Simple but delicious breakfast buffet.
The rooms are small, but we knew that in advance. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious!
Walls are thin, which wasn’t a big of a deal. There’s been only one night with a fighting couple (hope they sorted it out by now). All other nights were peaceful.
The backyard landscaping is beautiful and really well maintained — a little green paradise!
There’s a shortcut through another resort to the beach — just ignore the “No Trespassing” signs and be respectful by picking up after yourself (the staff told us that as long as visitors keep the beach clean, the resorts don’t mind).
Super friendly staff who helped us with heavy luggage and arranging ferry taxis.
To dry our clothes we hang a line outside of our room and it wasn’t until checkout that we noticed the staff adjusted our amateur knots with some really professional knots. THANK YOU Bunyagard (next time you need to teach us)!
One lady is fluent in English. And with google translator we’ve been able to communicate with all the staff. Where there’s a will, there’s a way ;)

HhutusugarOur family of three lived in this new year for three days, and there was still some reluctance to go. The hotel has a beach, the most beautiful at 7 or 8 in the morning, there are very few people, the sand is not bad, and there are free kayaks for guests to play. The hotel is a small villa, very new and very clean, mini bar snacks can be eaten free of charge, building materials are mostly taken from natural materials, very environmentally friendly. The most praiseworthy is the hotel's restaurant, which is superb. I thought that the materials on the bone island would not be fresh, but in fact, the hotel restaurant can kill a large number of high-end restaurants in Bangkok, regardless of the ingredients or taste, and the price is very good. Kindly, we have spent two or three hundred yuan on a dinner meal with a full range of seafood and meat. There is also a happy hour every afternoon, and the cost is also very good. The fly in the ointment is that the hotel is rather ridiculous, travel can only rent a small motorcycle, the hotel rent a motorcycle to 400 pigs a day, slightly expensive.

GGuest UserThe service you get at Far East is great. Ask for something and it happens straight away. We asked reception for bins to be changed and it happened straight away. I then asked cleaners to do it all days we were there and they did plus new towels and waters.
The breakfast has a good variety. There is a guy who makes coffees for you and you can see he takes pride in the craft. On our third day he saw us walk in and made it without asking- lovely.
The grounds are well looked after. It seems to be raked every day. There was a cat poo near our room one morning. When we came home from exploring, it was gone.
It is walking distance to resteraunts.
We'd stay again.
