Not as bad as some reviews might have you believe. Yes, rooms could do with some updating but on the whole they are ok. We stayed in the annexe wing (room 93). Staff were great throughout and provided a great welcome and excellent service at all times. Our stay was on half board basis and all food was excellent with good choices on offer for breakfast and dinner. The hotel is well located being around 10-15 mins walk to the local centre (Ischia Ponte) and 20-30 mins to the larger and busier Ischia Porto both with numerous shops, bars and restaurants. One thing to note is that accessibility could be an issue for older guests or those with disabilities. The guest rooms are located over multiple levels with only the main building served by an elevator, access to the annexe wing is by several internal flights of stairs only. Some areas of the grounds including the lower pool and sun lounge area are also accessible by multiple steps only. On the whole we had a very enjoyable stay and we would visit again.

Omg, what can I say?? Can’t speak highly enough of this Ischia icon, Grand hotel punta molino! From when we stepped out the ferry, promptly welcomed by the smart and smiling Ciro on the transfers, to Ciro the concierge( such a charismatic figure and so friendly!) and all the team at the reception , ladies and boys,ever smiling, helpful and knowledgeable. A mention to the GM Antonio Buono, what a gent, he’s a constant presence and reassurance to his team, at the point that the other day he was around the beach asking customers if they wanted any drinks ordered,what a humble guy, he always had a word with everybody by let you feel special,what a professional. Not forgetting all the lifeguards on the beach from the head Franco to all the rest of the team, the staff at the breakfast and the housekeepers, all amazing. I had the most amazing time staying in this hotel for 21 nights. I was so happy with the room I was given (26) which had a balcony and a beautiful sea view. This was a single room and I really liked how authentic it was which I felt, matched the style of Ischia perfectly! The room was always spotless as it was cleaned daily by a lovely, friendly cleaner. I always felt safe and comfortable here and it was good to have such a nice person at reception who was so helpful and always had a chat with me :) For me the character of the hotel made it and my favourite part was the garden with gorgeous flowers and plants and areas to sit. I couldn’t believe how close the hotel was to beaches, shops, restaurants, cafes etc and this combined with the friendly community of Ischia for me, made it the most perfect place to stay! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome ❤️.

Sono stata insieme alla mia famiglia... bellissima esperienza, ci siamo trovati non bene, ma benissimo. Hotel è gestito da una famiglia. Sono persone molto gentili, semplici e disponibili. Ci siamo sentiti a casa. Hotel offre un' abbondante colazione, c'è la possibilità di prenotare il pranzo di ottima qualità con prezzi abbordabili. C'è una bella piscina. Altamente consigliato! Noi sicuramente ci ritorneremo!

We always travel to Ischia at the end of May, this being our only holiday of the year. We have chosen this hotel as it was recommended and we liked the idea of the thermal garden in the hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised. We arrived at the main port on the island and were greeted by the hotel driver, who was punctual and professional. We arrived a bit earlier but our room was ready, which was great. Once there we had a tour of the facilities and everything was very clearly explained, with no 'hidden' costs. The Thermal Garden plus the inside pools and SPA facilities are stunning and a pleasure to use. The thermal treatments lady, Anna and the beautician (also called Anna!) were extremely professional and caring. The treatments very effective, all clearly explained and booked in advanced by the SPA manager, Elizabeth, also professional and very accommodating of my needs and requests. We ate in the hotel both at lunchtime in the bar within the thermal garden and for dinner. The food is delicious and plentiful, again with no hidden costs. The bar prices are very reasonable and in line with local bars. Staff there is very friendly and professional, making everything even more enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic with a great buffet with quality items, dinner has been special every time with local dishes and a great choice of starters. Everything was exquisite and the staff were excellent, noticing preferences and great at advising the best dishes to try, again with no hidden costs. There is also piano bar in the evening, with two great musicians who sing and entertain with great songs, in Italian, and other languages. Beautiful! Overall an excellent experience, we will definitively go back!

Stunning hotel situated in the middle of Procida. Staff are exceptionally nice, breakfast freshly cooked for you from a menu rather than cold and old buffet, swimming pool and spa are a complete revelation. If you want relaxation as well as being close to everything, great. Would highly recommend and will stay again. Ignore previous reviews about ants, haven’t seen one. They will probably complain about bees and wasps next.
