Disgusting! It all started with the check-in. After check-in, they put us not in the room and building indicated in the reservation and paid for, but in the basement of the neighboring building, saying that it should be like that. In this room, the electric stove (yes, yes ... not a solid panel, but a stove !!) for cooking is rusty from old age, the furniture is loose and the windows are walled up. They explained that these are such apartments at Merodi Shalava Flat (apparently, exclusive for Russians). Naturally, we refused to live there. They demanded to move to the address indicated in the reservation. About an hour and a half later, they offered us just a room, not an apartment with a kitchen, but just a room, without explanation, they do not speak Russian there at all, English with difficulty (thanks to Yandex translator). Since we were very tired, and it was already about midnight and there was no strength to argue from the road, we agreed to this too. By the way, they had another option to wait until tomorrow, apparently we had to sleep on the street in their opinion. We checked in in the end and got a terrible old room for 10 thousand rubles a day, dirty, the audibility is such that you will know when the cook starts frying an omelette three floors below, the cleaners steal (they stole my face cream and took half the minibar). Breakfasts are monotonous, not tasty, the room where they take place is very small, as a result there was not enough space, food too. In general, disgusting! I do not recommend it to anyone. Disappointed! Well, of course, the trip.com support service does not work, when I tried to get it, you need to leave a hundred letters, fill out forms and then someday they will answer you. In general, complete disappointment and Merodi is good only for Europeans who in Turkey love to lick from the entrance ... ours are humiliated and they try to offend in every possible way. This hassle with numbers is already a classic in Turkey, but I didn't think that in Istanbul this awaits in a place praised by reviews. The reviews are apparently written on order.
