I stayed here for three nights in December 2012, and it was a very nice hotel if you don't require any special services.
Good points
- Location
It's right in the middle of the tourist area of the old town, just a few minutes walk from Sultanahmet Station. The entrance is a little hard to find, but it has a nice atmosphere. You can see the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia from the breakfast area.
- Hotel staff are kind
No English problems. I think it was just by chance, but I arrived early in the morning so I just went to leave my luggage and they let me check in and offered me breakfast that day as a service.
- Cats
There is a high probability that there will be a cat at the front desk. You can pet it.
Concerns
- Noisy outside
At night, you can hear loud music from outside. It's not so loud that you can't sleep. You can hear the adhan clearly.
- Quality of breakfast
It's delicious, but the variety is limited, so don't expect too much.
- Bathroom
There is some blackening, so those who are particular about cleanliness may be concerned. I think it is one of the cleanest places overseas.
・The elevator is narrow
・The stairs are steep
・The hotel entrance is hard to find
The building and facilities are a little old and there are no special services, but the location is great and the staff are very friendly, so I would recommend this hotel.
