Hot spring Hotels in Ito

Last time I chose ”room with hot springs”, but this time I stayed in a Japanese room with 8 tatami mats. (It's the cheapest plan) The view is on the other side of the room with a hot spring, and you shouldn't expect it because you can only see the cityscape. Also, although there is no indoor bath, there is a large communal bath, so there is no problem. The large communal bath changes daily, but both are large baths and have good hot water. There is also a hot spring area so you can relax. Now it seems normal to park in the second parking lot (plane) a little far from the first parking lot (mechanical parking lot). But please note that it is a little far away. Well, there is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away, so it's a good plan for traveling alone, and I think it's good because you can relax. It was an inn in Satoyama. I arrived at 14:00 at check-in and I think it was probably the second customer, but I had to wait a long time. I couldn't help it, so I waited while drinking a drink at the drink corner. There was no guide to write the inn book first. I thought that I could finally check in, but the person in charge (male) was uncomfortable with doing this procedure and talking to different customers here and there. The explanation of the inn and the check-in procedure were not advanced easily. It's my first inn, so I wanted you to get through at least. If you mainly take hot spring baths at Ito Onsen, this inn has excellent cost performance. Only breakfast for one night, no dinner. There are many sushi restaurants between the inn and Ito station, and the inn has a map of recommended shops. Breakfast is a buffet and from ７ time. It is comparable to breakfast at a business hotel. The room is old but very large. With bath and toilet. And there are two large communal baths and three private baths in the hot springs. All of these private baths are wonderful. All hot springs are fed directly from the source. The front desk staff is also firm. This is about 7000 yen on weekdays and about 9000 yen on the day before the holiday.

This ryokan is small, clean and lovely and warm. Our room (Oshima Room) was large with new tatami mats and lovely comfortable futons. The breakfast included in the room rate was delicious and home cooked in the traditional Japanese way. There are two bathhouses and we used them both on our two night stay. They are both clean and well maintained and you book them for private use. Close to supermarket and restaurants, it is walking distance t the Izu-Kogen railway station. The hosts were friendly and drove us to the start of the Jogasaki Coast Walk and Mt Omaru. Would definitely stay here again. There are many attractions in the area

A very nice place. The building is the Ito Historical Building Tokaikan. Next door is the Tokaikan Museum and Hot Springs. But staying here also has separate hot springs for men and women, and it's great. There are five public areas inside, which are very spacious and bright. You can drink tea and chat. The hotel is about 4 kilometers away from the Izu Kogen Motor Show. There are buses to the hotel. There are shuttle bus trains to the Otaniyama and Izu Kogen Train Stations. 「ペット同伴で大丈夫」と思い込み訪問させていただきました。 ところがオーナーが変わったということで、「伊豆ワン倶楽部」ではなく、 「伊豆One倶楽部」というということです。まさかの「ワン」違い！！ このトリップAdvisorの口コミを元に訪問したのですが、以前のオーナーの「伊豆ワン倶楽部」ではペットOKだったけど、「伊豆One倶楽部」では駄目だということ。都内からわざわざきたのに「うちは一才ペットだめ」の一点張り。 さらには過去に私達のように「ペットが大丈夫だと勘違いしてきた人もいた」との事。ホテルの内装もペットがかも大丈夫かと勘違いさせるような部屋のデザイン。館内も可愛い猫ちゃんがお散歩するなど「え？？ペット大丈夫な雰囲気全開じゃん？？」と思わせておいて、まさかの「うちペット駄目ですから」と急に言われる始末。 「ペットがOKな旨は楽天の予約サイトに一才書いていませんから。」 と片言な日本語で説明され。。。。」　確かに「ペットがOK」とはどこにも書いていませんが、「ペットが駄目」との強調した文章もどこにもみられません。 一応、こんなこともあるかなあ。と一抹の不安はあったので、前日に電話しようと思ったのですが、「繋がる電話番号がない」という状態。 せめて電話でペットが大丈夫かどうかをすぐ確認できればこのような事はなかったのですが、車で渋滞の中３時間以上かけてきたのにこのような対応をされとても悲しい気持ちになりました。 日本語もあまり通じませんでしたし、さらには日本の文化及び考え方が通じないようで悲しい気持ちになりました。コンセプトが大きく変わるようでしたらそもそも「伊豆One倶楽部」という紛らわしい名前をつけるをやめたらどうでしょうか？？　 SEO対策かなんかわかりませんが、私のような二次災害が生まれることがないように願います。 I visited the hotel under the assumption that I could bring my pet along. Wonderful last minute change of plans! We Totally stumbled upon this hotel on our trip to Hakone. While visiting the sleepy little fishing town of Ito we decided to stay the night, but after staying our first night we stayed longer. The hotel and town were so pretty. We ended up staying on the 3rd floor in a corner room that gave us an amazing view of the entire Segami Bay and city. The room was large and had huge sliding windows that took of both walls facing the bay. Everything was perfect! From the swimming pool, free Onsen free drinks, sodas juice and coffee. Just a 10 min walk from the train station. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind, with lots of useful information. Our trip was a total of 6 wks in Japan, Korea and the Philippines and this stay will be our fondest memory! Thank you again for the amazing visit : )
