This ryokan is truly a gem. It offers complimentary car parking, and there’s also a public bathroom available. The staff are very nice and sweet, making the stay feel warm and welcoming. I highly recommend trying their breakfast and dinner—the meals are delicious and thoughtfully prepared. In the evening, guests can even enjoy complimentary ice cream, which is a lovely touch. Netflix is available for entertainment, and the facilities are very well maintained, giving excellent value for money. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay, and I will definitely go back again.

I had a fantastic experience at Forest Glaming! The staff, including Mr. Terada & the cool dude with long hair, were not only incredibly friendly but also made an effort to communicate with me in English and encouraged my attempts at speaking Japanese. Despite missing the shuttle bus, Mr. Terada kindly came to pick me up. The resort is a serene haven, offering tranquility and the cleanest toilets I've ever encountered. ✨Being tented near the shower and toilet facilities was an added bonus. 😮💨The food was outstanding, especially the aged domestic beef 🍖 BBQ. The only disappointment was not having the chance to share the wonderful dinner with the staff. I totally recommend Forest Glaming to anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape with exceptional service and facilities. The staff's warmth and willingness to engage in different languages truly enhanced my stay. Fantabulous!!! 😍🥰

Our trip to Izu was a pleasant surprise! We were incredibly lucky to catch the Tang House private onsen just as it finished construction and opened for guests. Although the new private bath isn't huge, it offers excellent privacy, a quiet atmosphere, and is wonderfully comfortable. After a hot day of sightseeing, filled with heat and exhaustion, a short soak in the onsen washed all the fatigue away – it was incredibly therapeutic. The host thoughtfully arranged a pick-up from Izu Kogen Station and even dropped me off directly at Mount Omuro. The house itself is stylishly decorated and has a great ambiance. Before checking in, I was a bit worried about the shared bathroom, but my concerns were completely unfounded. The space was sparkling clean and bright, and even had disinfectant provided – the hygiene details were meticulously handled. I absolutely *must* praise the host's Biangbiang noodles; the chili oil was incredibly addictive! As someone from Xi'an myself, I found the flavor exceptionally authentic. The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the seasoning was spot on. Eating such genuine hometown flavors in a foreign country brought immense happiness. Communication with the host was easy and smooth. Overall, the stay was impeccable, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Izu. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Pros: The room with a private hot spring bath was quite spacious, offering the experience of both a Japanese-style tatami mat and a regular bed. On the second floor, there are two washing machines and two dryers available; you can exchange 100-yen coins at the front desk to use them. The distance to Ito Station is decent, and along the way, you'll pass MaxValue (Aeon) and 7-Eleven, where you can stock up on water and snacks. There's also a handmade soba restaurant that tastes pretty good. The room was generally clean, and the price was reasonable, comparable to hot spring hotels in China, and possibly even cheaper during the off-season, with more convenient transportation. Cons: If it rains when you're heading to the hotel, carrying luggage can be quite a hassle. The hotel doesn't provide many disposable amenities, such as bottled water, combs, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The hotel's decor is quite classic, the lighting isn't very bright, and the worst issue of all was the sewer smell from the toilet.

設施：房間很大，高高的天花板配大觀景窗和木質建築非常有森林小木屋的故事感；床稍微有點窄，可能一米左右，不難睡；浴室衞生間屬於日本正常水平，很不錯。最大的缺點就是房間裏沒wifi信號，關了門阻隔太大幾乎不能用，衹能用流量，房間外信號很好。 衞生：很乾凈，香香的洗劑的味道。 環境：很好，坐落在山上，樹林環繞。一樓老闆家做了餐廳、酒吧（有不含酒精的飲料和水），好像還有浴池，因為老闆夫妻倆太社牛了，男老闆説“也可以使用一樓的浴室，需要用嗎”的時候我已經堅定了不再下樓的想法，沒注意聽。 老闆其實是他們家小狗，可能是吉娃娃？還遇到一對中年夫妻帶了衹秋田。民宿也是修勾友好，怕狗的謹慎入住；小狗晚上九點左右就安靜了，但我住那天早上七點起來沒多久就開始叫了，狗不是人不會很懂事，可能會影響睡眠。 服務：很到位，兩個人都是很有耐心的人；早飯是八點，可以溝通換時間，很好吃；如果有不吃的食物應該也可以説，湯裏的胡蘿蔔和洋葱印象裏挺多人不吃的；民宿方提供車站接送服務，不要看着一公里多就自己走過去，至少一半是山路，會4（）

For Dashishan and Cactus Zoo, the hotel is near Izu Plateau Station. It takes about 18 minutes to walk and there are more slopes. People along the way are also very quiet with cute flowers and plants. You can store your luggage for free on the day of check-in. Going to Dashishan or taking the bus honestly, watching the walk is only 40 minutes, but there will be private roads along the way that are not allowed to pass, and the map walking navigation is still not very smart. The room is Western style, there are tatami mats, the price is really super high. The room is much larger than expected. There is a toilet sink. You have to take two free private soups to take a bath. It is said that the private soup feels like a large bath in an ordinary hotel. It’s super cool to have a lock on the personal door. In addition, there is a free drink machine coffee machine, very crazy sweet water.

Traditional room with futon to sleep. Apparently the floor is not full tatami. Kinda different from japanese traditional room i've been at. As person from former USSR space i would say this place has ”soviet hotel vibe”, for japanese people i guess its more of ”showa” vibe. The onsen is actually public bath locals also use (which i am personally more than fine with), has both styled indoor bath and outdoor bath. Outside there are free cooling beverages and some ice cream to buy (i couldn't imagine how good it goes after bath). Staff is very nice and tried their best to explain everything to me in english even though didn't manage to and we switched to japanese but i appreciate the effort

A good, but not new, hotel. It boasts a huge golf course, and indeed, the vast majority of guests are golfers who come for a weekend getaway to play without venturing down the mountain. If you have your own car, getting there is convenient. However, for exploring the region, the location isn't ideal; this hotel isn't really set up for that. You can, however, reach Ippeki Lake. I actually walked to the Komuroyama lift in 35 minutes through the camellia garden. From there, you can descend to Kawana Dolphin Beach, but the path isn't particularly convenient, and there are no direct buses. The closest bus stops to the hotel are in Yoshida, and from there, it's a 15-20 minute uphill walk along the road. You won't get lost, as there are plenty of signs. But it's not a straightforward or super easy route, especially if you have a lot of luggage. The rooms are quite standard. They have all the essentials: a kettle with green tea, a fridge, a TV, and various shampoos and gels in the bathroom (yes, there's a bathtub in the room). You can even see Mount Fuji from the window. The hotel itself has an interesting interior with cool details, such as an aesthetically pleasing lounge area before the dining room. The breakfast is good. Everything is tasty and varied; it’s definitely a step up from a basic economy hotel. There are fruits, vegetables, drinks, omelets, rice... and various meat and fish dishes, which I don't really pay attention to since I rarely eat them, but they were there. I didn't get to try the hot springs at the hotel, so I can't comment on them. Since I had already done a lot of hiking in the mountains over a few days, I requested a transfer for check-out. I was the only passenger! It took 7 minutes to Kawana Station, and a train to Ito/Atami was leaving 10 minutes later. Overall, it's an excellent hotel if you're not planning to spend a week traveling along the coast from here. For that purpose, it would be better to find something closer to the sea.

The structure seems to be a legacy of the bubble era. The luxurious layout allows you to move between the main building and each building via pedestrians. It's reminiscent of the 5-star hotels of Phuket and Bali of the past. The all-inclusive plan also feels like good value. Unfortunately, however, maintenance of the interior and exterior has not kept up, and various parts are badly deteriorated. The bathhouse is also made of good granite, so it should be polished properly. The exterior walls are so black that you want to use a Karcher cleaner. I wish it was a little cleaner.

The location is superior and very convenient. Just at the foot of Omuro Mountain, there is a western restaurant connected to the homestay that tastes very good. The cost of meals is not low. Moreover, the homestay and restaurants can only be cashed in Omuro Mountain. The room is only about 15 square meters. There are sinks and toilets in the room. You must take a bath in a special room. There are three rooms in total.
