We chose the largest Japanese-style tatami room—the largest I've ever stayed in in Japan. Because some people commented on the hotel's inconvenience, we opted for a room with breakfast and dinner included! Actually, according to the hotel's check-in instructions, you can schedule a shuttle to Ito Kogen Station after 2:45 PM to check in directly at the hotel. We also made a reservation to depart for Mount Omuro at 9 AM, a convenient 10-minute drive. The breakfast and dinner options were both plentiful and down-to-earth. While not Michelin-rated, they were refined and the ingredients were fresh. This hotel would definitely be a top choice if I were to return to Ito!

The owners of the hotel are very friendly, although sometimes they cannot communicate in English. Fortunately, there is a translation app to help. The meals they provided were also very rich and delicious, and they gave us the chopsticks we picked when we checked in as a gift before we left. The only disadvantage is that the location is relatively remote. If you travel by car, it will be no problem. Otherwise, you have to take a taxi to get in and out, but good things are always difficult to find, so it is still highly recommended.

The hotel is new and clean. It is very close to Izu-Kogen Station. A taxi only costs 860JP. You can communicate in English, which is great. It is recommended that three or five families go together to make it more lively because it is quieter.

A very good onsen hotel that I recommend to visit once! The room was clean. Ukata was beautiful. The Japanese kaiseki dinner was tasty, but my daughter doesn’t like it as she is not a sea food eater. But I am! Onsen was relaxing! Breakfast with a sea view was amazing! I strongly recommend this hotel and appreciate them for accommodation!

宿泊部屋の広さ、清潔さ、綺麗さは問題ないが、ひっきりなしに踵から床に足を下ろす足音がうるさい。隣が 調理室らしく従業員の足音なのか上の部屋の音なのかは不明。
また、廊下の光がベッドの障子から入ってきて就寝時に真っ暗にならず眠りが浅くなった。
チェックイン時が夕刻で、部屋は蛍光灯が付いており分からなかったが日の光がほぼ入らない部屋で、そのため、廊下の光を部屋に取込む仕様にしているのだと気づいたのは、朝9時に蛍光灯をつけなければ部屋が真っ暗と理解した時。掃き出し窓ともう一つ窓がついていたが外部からの視界と本館外部の配管等が見えない様に外構覆っているのが光の入らない原因。
部屋の露天風呂は良かったが、虫除けの取付方法は要再考。大浴場は内外風呂共熱すぎて入浴できず。湯もみしたがダメだった。
夕食は、量が少なく感じたが、選択式の炊き込みご飯の提供方法がお櫃ではなく、茶碗提供だった為と思う、その代わり、朝食はお櫃提供で、ご飯のおかわりができたため満腹になった。
ドーミーインで提供している夜鳴きそばを初めて食べたが、おいしかった。
総じて部屋以外はいい宿だが、あの部屋には2度と泊まりたくない。
