I really love this treasure place! Izu is really, really beautiful, and Yuzhangyuan is also a relatively niche hotel there! It has a long history and is very unique. I looked at other nearby hotels on booking and selected them. It is not inferior to the surrounding hot spring hotels! Highly recommended! ! ! Dinner and breakfast are also very delicious. 酒店裝修應該是幾十年前的裝修衞生條件也很堪憂，温泉很舊，很舊，千萬不要去。網上説的早餐晚餐都很好，根本就是騙人的現場看應該他們酒店根本就沒有廚房，而且附近根本就沒有什麼飯店，衹有一些家庭小酒館，而且很早就關門了。

Real typical ryokan but outdated and old-fashioned. No service. No possibility of meals. No breakfast offered. Room for 3 with futons and very noisy air conditioning making the night very complicated. Musty odors which worsen an already heavy atmosphere. The worst quality accommodation during a 1 month stay in Japan. Bad value for money.

My wife and I went on an elegant trip using a prefectural resident discount coupon. We made a reservation because we liked the formal Japanese-style building, the fact that the rooms had open-air baths, and the fact that meals were served in the rooms. On the day, we were upgraded and stayed in the "Hijiri" room. We were impressed by how spacious and luxurious it was. The large public bath was in a separate building, but the open-air bath surrounded by greenery was amazing. Dinner was satisfactory in both quantity and quality for a couple in their 60s. (The grilled abalone and boiled golden-eyed snapper were also excellent.) If we had to say one thing, it would be that the noise from other rooms was a bit distracting...
