Shantou Hotels with Jacuzzi

"Finally, Shantou has a decent five-star hotel! 😂 When I visited in 2023, the best hotel was the Sheraton, but it was really old and made my overall experience in Shantou quite mediocre. Honestly, it's because of a beautiful hotel like this that I feel inspired to visit. Hahaha... People with high hotel standards might choose a city specifically for a certain hotel. The Shantou Marriott gives me exactly that feeling. Shantou has a lot of amazing food, but most of it is found in street-side stalls or local open-air restaurants, which are very down-to-earth. While authentic delicious food is everywhere, the dining environments can be a bit basic, to be honest, no offense intended. There's this incredible feeling of happiness when you return to the hotel lobby after sweating it out at a street stall or grabbing a snack in an alleyway. It truly feels like coming home, haha. I think people who prioritize accommodation might understand this feeling. This is hands down the best hotel in Shantou, hehe 😉 The hotel is in an excellent location in the new CBD, offering the best views! 👍 Unbeatable sea views, encompassing Shantou's most beautiful bay, the bridge, the pier, and some small islands. In my opinion, it offers the best scenery in Shantou, bar none. So, if you come to Shantou, you absolutely must stay at the Marriott; you won't regret it. Two nights are plenty. Although the executive lounge doesn't have a huge variety of food, what they do have is incredibly delicious. I ate two plates of mussels! The alcohol isn't top-shelf, but their special concoctions are addictive. The Gin & Tonic and 'Private Cuba' (I assume a specialty cocktail) were excellent 🥰 We spent two consecutive evenings there, enjoying drinks and the most beautiful night views of Shantou... It was truly relaxing! Both the sea view and city view rooms offer fantastic scenery. So don't overthink it; even the standard rooms are perfectly fine if you're on a tighter budget 🤌 because the lobby bar also has stunning views. You can sit down, have a drink, and enjoy the scenery. The hotel's service is absolutely outstanding. From the front desk to the lobby bar and even the security staff, they provide the best service quality in Shantou. I wholeheartedly give them a positive review for this! 👍 Honestly, the front desk staff was incredibly patient and even gave us a local food guide. For someone who's too lazy to plan, it felt incredibly thoughtful. It would be great if every hotel did this! 😋 I forgot to thank Carter from the front desk when I checked out 🤌. He was so patient and answered all my questions. He also shared a lot of authentic Shantou food recommendations with me. Big thumbs up to them for their hard work! "Qingfeng Mountain House was the highlight of our trip. Every corner was spotless, and the front desk service was polite and professional. We were traveling as a family this time, and upon arrival, we paid a little extra to upgrade to a family room. The room was incredibly spacious, and even the slippers were adorable – a truly excellent experience. They also have electric car charging stations, which was a huge plus. The pace here was so relaxing, completely free of travel anxiety. We could read and enjoy the river view from the front lounge area. Plus, breakfast was included! Traveling during the off-season was such a treat and offered great value for money."

"This hotel was a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth of hospitality. The lobby is stylishly decorated. Since we had children and needed to do laundry, we paid the difference to upgrade to a room with a washing machine. The room was thoughtfully designed with attention to detail. Not only were there free mineral water and snacks, but the charging port was also conveniently located. The projection was excellent, making it comfortable for watching TV shows. 😊 The soundproofing was also excellent, making it incredibly quiet at night and allowing for a restful sleep. We also took the children to visit Wenguang Pagoda. A special shout-out to the front desk lady for her helpful guides and a small gift upon check-out. So heartwarming!"

"The location is very good, close to Jinsha Park and surrounded by restaurants. It's just that there are other stores singing at night, but everything else is pretty good. The bathroom and toilet are together, and water in the bathroom tends to collect around the toilet."

"During the Spring Festival holiday, I took my children to Qinghuan Villa for 3 nights. The room was very quiet, the mattress was very comfortable, the boss was very enthusiastic, and the children were very happy. Erbao chooses to play chicken, dog, goose, cat, sheep, peacock here, not to the attractions."

"The hotel is on a small street. It should be a converted office building. The environment is very good and the corridor is spacious. It should be newly renovated not long ago. The waiter on the first floor during the day shift is a girl. The service is moderately good. When I came back from outside at night, there was no cold water for showering in the hotel. It was very hot. I coordinated with the front desk. It was a boy who immediately coordinated with the engineering department to solve it as soon as possible. Although it was not fixed that night, it can be seen that he was very guilty. He personally came up with tea leaves to deliver water. He kept apologizing when checking out the next day and sent tea leaves again to express his guilt. It was also very heartwarming! However, the water problem still needs to be fixed. After all, there are elderly and children! Everything else is very good. I wish the business will get better and better!"

"Some of the guesthouses were very unique, with excellent decor, facilities, and amenities. They even had Dyson hairdryers, making our trip very convenient! The customer service staff were incredibly welcoming, unlike typical guesthouses; we felt well taken care of in every way! The location was also great, right in the old town, surrounded by locals. There's even a small temple nearby where you can try the inscription on a stele! Downstairs, there's a steamed bun shop selling delicious local Shantou-style steamed buns; guests should definitely try it. There are also many other unique Shantou breakfast options nearby; I recommend Yongping Soy Milk! I was very satisfied with my stay and hope to have the opportunity to visit Shantou again!"
