"We had an amazing stay at Naera. We stayed in a few different hotels during our visit to Shanghai and this was by far the best. Room was large with a huge bathtub and a closet and packed with all the amenities we needed, including LOTS of bottled water, including Evian, fruits, snacks, bath supplies, a Dyson hairdryer, stationery for the kids including a magnifying glass, etc etc. The back hotel is also linked to a modern (gentrified) part of the water town with cool pop up booths and shops. It’s also a short walk to one of the entrances to the Ancient Xitang town. Staff were also warm and nice. We also went to the Organic farm but was let down by the drizzle = not much activities for the little one. Only downside I can think of is that the menus / maps provided etc are all in Mandarin and playroom, while clean and large, was totally packed and chaotic. Would love to be back."

"Stayed at the Expo Hotel for a music festival in Jiashan. The price didn't increase because of the festival, which was really decent of them – great value for money! It was also super close to the music festival venue. Even though the front desk was really busy when I checked in, Ms. Wang Wenyan Dai at reception was incredibly warm and welcoming. She even added me on WeChat for any questions, which was really helpful. Despite coming back late, the hotel stay was so comfortable that it just wiped away all my fatigue. I also got to see my favorite Jialun! This trip was really satisfying, and I even received a gift from the front desk when I checked out."

"Voco, an upscale international hotel brand under IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), is positioned between standard four-star and five-star hotels, often considered 'entry-level five-star' or 'premium four-star.' The Voco hotel in Xitang, with its excellent location, is undoubtedly the perfect choice for tourists. The hotel's decor is also very European, which is a style I personally enjoy. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful. During my stay, Delia was on duty, and I also met Will (I mistakenly called him William last time). A big thank you to both for their assistance. I hope next time I stay, they can arrange the best room for us, haha. As an IHG member, the hotel also provided two complimentary drink vouchers, which could be used during my stay. Additionally, I received a free room upgrade. I gave the large room with a backyard and bathtub to my Indian colleague, and she absolutely loved it and was thrilled. Out of my two-week business trip to China, the Voco hotel was definitely the most photogenic spot; not to mention, you can see 'Xitang Ancient Town' just by opening the window. During holidays, you can visit for free from 8 AM to 9 PM. The hotel itself is positioned as a high-end five-star establishment, so the service is definitely superb and worthy of a five-star rating!"

"We are from Jiaxing, and we wanted to hang out in Xitang. We saw that this B&B has a swimming pool, and it is a duplex with two rooms, which meets our requirements. The children also liked this swimming pool right away. We arrived at noon, and the owner came to the entrance of the scenic area to pick us up. When we arrived at the B&B, we found that the water in the swimming pool had been changed, so we could play in the evening. The location of the B&B is very good, not far from the bar street, but very quiet. The owner answered all questions, had a good attitude, and provided warm service. Next time I go to Xitang, I can still stay at this B&B. You can also consider this B&B, it's super good"

"My husband and I drove to Xitang for the weekend, and the Manjuelong Hotel we stayed at was absolutely perfect! The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of the scenic area, and parking is convenient. I especially loved its elegant Chinese courtyard, situated by the river. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, with views of the flowing water and bridges right from the windows. What's particularly rare is its exceptional tranquility; it truly offers peace and quiet amidst the bustling city. The service was attentive, making it the best choice within the scenic area. The experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely stay here again next time! Highly recommended!"

The location was impeccable, the ticket gate was downstairs, which greatly facilitated our travel. Also, the scenic spot is free of charge after five o'clock and we enjoyed the beautiful view for free. The service staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms and public areas were very clean and tidy. I think the hotel is very cost-effective considering its excellent location and excellent service. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit this place!"
