Johor Bahru Hotels with Wi-Fi

Just beside the shopping mall and Monday night market. A lot of nice food near the hotel. There are 2 towers, tower 1 and tower 2. This time we stayed at tower 2 which has no view, no window even though when we booked it stated city view. Make sure you asked the reception during check in or else will ended with no view, no window. We booked for 3 pax but was given 2 towels. Need to check and informed the counter and the housekeepers would hang the extra 1 set on the door handle. Overall, the location is great and the food is yummy.

We have been to Amari around 5 years ago. It is still as clean comfortable and exceptional in services. But but, 1 thing to note. They have a smoke detector install right in the middle of the room. And the smoke detector has a green LED light that blink periodically. If you sleep in full darkness, that led light is terrible. We had a bad sleep due to the light in the first night. The next morning, i called for help and they offer to tape the green light away using masking tape. It become much much better for us. Also to add in, maybe the hotel can look into sustainability. I need to open a new pack of toothbrush just to get the toothpaste. The toothpaste is pretty tiny for me. Shower gel and shampoo can also work toward huge bottle rather than tiny tube. Would be nice to have laundro in hotel. Other than this, this hotel is really good. Good service and buffet spread.

We had a pleasant 3d2n stay at Holiday Villa. Service was impeccable and room was clean and spacious. Good buffet breakfast spread with rotation during our stay. Strategic location, near to KSL with many eateries and massage parlours around the vicinity. Will definitely be back again.

We arrived at 2:30 PM and were promptly checked in, even though the official check-in time is 3 PM. We were assigned Room 215, a corner room at the very end of the corridor. While the receptionist assured us it had a sea view, the reality was quite different—our “view” was of trees and the highway, which was disappointing. The room itself is spacious, but the bathroom was a major letdown. It features a semi-circular bathtub that requires climbing into, which isn’t ideal. To make matters worse, there’s no shower curtain, so every shower leaves the bathroom completely flooded with water. Unfortunately, this issue persists and has made our stay quite inconvenient.

The room is very clean and spacious. Check in and out was fast and easy with the friendly staffs! The only thing I will suggest is to change the curtain railing, because the curtains can't cover up completely and the sunlight will shine in. Nevertheless, will still stay here for my next trip!

Location: 5-10 mins walking to KSL, not considered near especially with current hot weather. Service: Counter staff is friendly but they assigned me only at #07 cos that’s what we paid for. They offered to safekeep my luggage while I go shop at KSL Room Condition: Cleanliness is ok. Room is big. Bed and pillow is ok. Toilet is ok, basic toiletries provided. Only bath towels and need to request for hand towel, if required. Nothing to wow about. Breakfast: Spread is ok, service staff is friendly. I like the way they handle fruits, it was put in a fridge to keep freshness. 👍 Overall: Room is dated however size is good Feedback: Hotel should consider painting regularly the room entrance and toilet ceiling as it looks moldy due to Aircon ducting. The moldy affects the first impression that the room is dirty.

The first hotel I cannot unlock my room with my door card. Ask the front desk they say everytime i need to back to hotel ask them to help open the room door. Parking system very unfriendly for hotel guest. Need to validate at front desk everytime before exit hotel. And you need to use different lift for room and parking. Room is clean and , just a bit old. Bathtub looks quite old so i not dare to use. Breakfast quite good. But i will still choose not to stay again anymore.

My hubby and I made a last-minute booking on December 31st for one night, checking in at 11:30 PM. The friendly and professional male receptionist briefly explained the room details to us. While the rooms are non-smoking, a designated smoking area is available on the ground floor. We booked the Studio Deluxe King and were given a room on the 39th floor. The room was clean and spacious, featuring a kitchenette with a microwave. The king-size bed was very cozy, and the bathroom was well-equipped with a bidet, an amenity kit, shower gel, shampoo, lotion and conditioner. The TV had a wide range of local channels. The next day, my hubby called reception twice, to inquire about late checkout rates. On both occasions, the female staff on the line confirmed a rate of RM12.50/hour. We decided to proceed with a late checkout. However, upon arriving at the reception desk to settle the bill, my hubby was surprised when the bill amounted to RM162. Upon checkout at 4PM, we went to the reception to clarify the discrepancy. The staff who attended, Ms Zulaila Azreen, promptly investigated the matter and helped reverse the charge on our card. She explained that it's actually RM100 or more for checkout at 3 PM or 6 PM, suggesting pre-payment upon check in for better rates. Her customer service was exceptional. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider returning. While the confusion with the late checkout rate was a bit frustrating, we enjoyed the comfortable rooms and peaceful atmosphere. I hope the hotel can provide further training for its staff, especially regarding accurate communication about hotel rates and charges.

This hotel is old and rundown but offers budget-friendly rates for travelers. It used to be a 4-star establishment but has since dropped to 2 stars. The staff are friendly and helpful, though the hotel is located far from the shopping mall, making it difficult to walk to from ICQ. The surrounding area is quite dark at night. Breakfast is average with limited choices, but it’s a decent option for Singaporeans looking for a place to stay, especially when traffic to the immigration is heavy.

Overall it's good and out of expected as room look newly renov and clean, since it's for 2D1N as gateway, hotel are big and with amenities, duty free zon below it's and some short shopping is good within the area. Breakfast come with variety and food wise is good especially it's nasik lemak. No time for swimming pool and it's recommended but room to further improve
