Check in took a while as there was only 2 counters open.
Clean room however sound proofing of room not too good - could hear fireworks from downstairs although i was on the 28th floor, and also people closing doors along the corridor.
Staff were friendly but front desk didn’t inform of facilities available or wifi details during check in, had to figure out ourselves.

Good room size. Near to the causeway. Short walk to mall.
Yes, kinda noisy. Not just the sound from the night market BUT also from the hotel’s music at the corridor. If you do find it too loud and disturbing your sleep, do let the front desk know. They can turn it off.
Unfortunately, nothing can be done for the hard hard hard pillows…. Flatter pillow is hard and likewise, thicker pillow is hard. The blanket isn’t properly laid by the housekeeping, with half just the sheet cover. Sloppy.
Front desk staff are friendly and the lobby guy is helpful.

Very bad experience from this hotel specially room toilet shower was broken as I open shower it fell on me thanks I not got any injury or blood on my head I can sue or call police if I got hurt on my head with shower two times I call reception for repair nobody came then again call 3 time boy came it's really very very shocked I got save from head injury I need my refund from this hotel kindly refund the amount I already again don't want to book kindly refund amount as soon as possible not half full amount

Sadly noticed there is no housekeeping after 10 or 11pm .
Another feedback is hotel location that is secluded n dark and round a corner. If traffic light can be installed before a bend, to encourage drivers to slow down would be safer for all crossing over the road

Musky smell in the entire building, dim lighting and pretty shady looking from the outside. Small room. Bedsheets weren’t very clean and some stains were visible. Toilet is bare minimum.

The room is very good, the surrounding environment is also good, the food court downstairs is not expensive, it's quite good. Especially Xiao Chen who received me was both considerate and professional, very good!

The apartment is quite clean. However we got a room at Tower A facing the high way. So at night, u can hear very loud car noise pass through. So if you are a light sleeper, better message the owner not to give a house near highway. It would be great to have water dispenser in the house. Shower amenities are not labelled. It would be best to label what is inside the bottles. No toothbrush provided. There is washing machine with free power detergent which is good. No bathroom mat is provided therefore bathroom floor is always wet after showering which could lead to fall. The view is awesome.

There is free parking which is good. Room and bed super clean. However needs a kettle, mini fridge to make it complete. Booked a room that stated it has window but they ran out of rooms thus got the one without windows which is really small. Really just need a kettle and mini fridge. Suitable for a night stay maybe. Hair dryer is almost as good as No hair dryer. This hotel has potential if the amenities are better. But overall a very clean place.

I was greeted with smile when I check in.
The service is wonderful nothing much to complain about.
The room is clean and tidy, and they even surprised me with a cake on my Wedding Anniversary. Room was nicely decorated with balloons , such a warm welcome. Thank you 😊 🙏 💓
St Giles is just situated at Mid Valley Shopping Mall, so is very convenient if you want to stay at the same location for shopping and food.
Breakfast wise, huge selection. I love their Nasi Lemak with Ayam Rendang.
Overall, a good stay at St Giles Southkey, definitely coming back again.

IIvyWe stayed in the pirate theme room. The room has a wet and damped smell. Carpet feels sticky. Room is a bit dated. Only reason I stayed here is the convenience of going to Legoland and free buffet breakfast with a wide selection of food. Kids love the in-room treasure hunt and prizes. If it wasn’t for the kids, I won’t stay here.

KKaelyn Kang SFI’m surprised to find Fives Hotel is beyond my expectations. First time staying at Fives hotel and it has so much more to praise. Firstly, location is good as it is located opposite of Komtar shopping centre. You can cross the road from Komtar shopping centre by a traffic light. Secondly, safety is excellent as there is a security guard manning the entrance. You need access card to take the lift to access your room. There is a convenient store just right at the side of the hotel lobby. We stayed in a family room with 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. Breakfast is sufficient to fill your stomach. All in all, it is a relatively good hotel for its pricing as jt includes breakfast. Lobby smells good. I would strongly recommend all to give Five a try. I’ve stayed at most hotels near CIQ area, this is better that the hotel next to Fives. 😊

GGuest UserThe location is good as you can just cross the road to get to Aeon Mall. A wide variety of food options and shop types within the mall. There is a decent supermarket and food court as well. Outside of the mall and again within a 5 min walking radius, you have access to food options that are not typically found in the mall, wellness centers, popular local snacks stores and many options for pharmacies and clinic. The staff service is good as well, friendly and try to help. However the room noise isolation is underwhelming, and people partying above my room can be heard. Or maybe the guest above is party way too hard, stamping on the floor causing my partner unable to sleep well throughout the night. Not sure if the restaurant did not cater enough food for the number of guests staying for the night, 90% of the food for breakfast are not available and barely get replenished in the 30 minutes that i stayed in the restaurant. That is at 8.30am and breakfast is supposed to end at 10.30am.

JJoeTmVery basic hotel near City Square. To reach the hotel, you can go through the Zenith lifestyle mall opposite Komtar on the 2nd floor and turn left. The streets are brightly lit and some eateries still opened so I don't feel unsafe. Stayed for just 1 night. Room was not very big but sufficient for 1 person. Tv has Sg channels which was a plus for me. Shower gel n shampoo does not feel good, so I used the soap instead. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was consistent. Drinking water can be obtained at the water dispenser. No toilet paper provided when I checked into the room and took a while for them to deliver after my request.

AAnonymous UserThis is my 3rs time stayed here. So far had an excellent experience and good improvement by hotel by adding android tv in the room. Swimming pool for this time was under maintenance. But unfortunately wifi is slow and always buffering to connect with the tv and always lost connection. Please fix the issue. Will repeat to stay here again
