"The AC in the room was terrible. After many calls to the front desk. We finally got through and informed them of the heat in the room. Was told someone will come to check. After waiting an hour, I fell asleep in the heat. Middle of the night it was still hot. By the morning the aircon had finally gotten cold.
What a horrible night we had.
The towels at this hotel are also subpar for a holiday inn.
Breakfast and service was good. Location is good too. Free car parking."

"Have stayed couple of times in Z Hotel. Easy to access to any where in JB. Short walk distance to City Sq and Komtar JBCC.
Transport is good and easy to Grab anytime.
Opposite of Hotel have night Pasar Malam for those who like to walk around at night.
Makan stalls at night are also availble.
Loved the Chinese Aunty cooking at Jalan Meldrum Kopitiam. Nasi Lemak best with fired chicken thigh and wings. Plenty of dishes to choose."

"Spacious and value for money hotel. Breakfast was awesome. However the location was a bit far from everywhere. The worst part was the condition of the room. The hot water knot for the shower literally drops out every single time I use it. I hope the management of the hotel can look into every room to repair the faulty facilities. This is definitely not the standard of a 4- star hotel should have."

"Location was near to the places we wanted to go. There is a self check in / check out machine which was pretty cool. There's also a coway water filter - nice added value.
The room floor however was dusty, was pretty gross to walk around barefoot.. bath towels had a musky smell to it and the toilet rolls has stains. Gives off vibes that the stuff have been kept there unused for a long time..."

Another feedback is hotel location that is secluded n dark and round a corner. If traffic light can be installed before a bend, to encourage drivers to slow down would be safer for all crossing over the road"

Check-in
Checking in was very quick and fuss free. Despite booking 4 rooms for the entire family, they only requested for the passport of the main party who made the booking. This is much more convenient and seamless. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous throughout and explained the hotel facilities and the timing for the breakfast. We called in before hand to request for connecting rooms and they arranged for rooms which are opposite one another and both were connecting rooms. Kudos for the effort to accommodate customers request.
Rooms
The rooms were plenty big and there was enough storage space. There's are convenient water dispensers located at both ends of the corridor allowing you to refill the glass bottle included in the room which is not only great for the environment but we liked it as that provided us with unlimited supply of water unlike standard complimentary bottled water. Facilities were in good condition including water kettle. Beds were clean and there is even a nice bay window to chill and relax. TV are smart and you can connect your devices. Toilets had all basic necessities including toothbrush and shavers in request.
TV were if good quality with a great options for Singapore channels.
Water pressure and hot water in the bath room is great. They have one of the best designed toilets in my view as the design is not only non slip but it kept the other parts of the toilet dey after shower which is fantastic. Towels were changed everyday if you wish to. Ironing board is also included.
Pool
Hotel pool is nice and located at the top floor offering great views.
Staff
The staff are all amazing. From hotel reception to house keeping to security. Everyone greeted us with a smile every time we see them. This is too notch
Checkout
Checkout was the most seamless ever. The staff did not even do any check of the rooms. They just took the key card and that concluded the checkout process. The hotel also accommodated our request for a later checkout.
Breakfast
Breakfast has good variety but the quality is just ok. There were plenty of seats around and the food is always replenished.
Can do better
The pillows were too soft and unfortunately the hotel do not have any other option available.
The hotel gym is very basic and lacked a proper treadmill.

Conclusion
One of the best in JB. We will return again for sure and highly recommend to everyone

VValerie09Third stay with anju, tried out their studio apartment for the first time. Its situated at the lower levels (below pool lvl) so tend to have quite alot of mosquitoes at night. But other than that the beds was comfortable, smart TV, microwave, fridge and dishes provided. Highly recommended, do bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste though!

AAnonymous UserThe family suite room was spacious and the staff allowed us to check in slightly earlier as I was travelling with old folks. However, the room was not sound proof and you will hear the liveband music (which is located below the hotel) quite clearly if u are staying at a low floor. Hence, I do not recommend staying in this hotel if you are a light sleeper. My stay in this hotel was average as the hotel compressor was faulty and it made alot of noise during the middle of the night (2am) and we had to call the maintenance dept to check and we had to switch off one of the Aircon.

Our school holiday just got a whole lot more exciting — we spent the day at LEGOLAND Malaysia Theme Park.. From 10:30 until 5:30pm .. fuuhh
Although we ended the day tired, it was the happy kind of tired - Surprisingly that my Kids brave enough to ride the Rollercoaster TWICE!! Dah Byr mahal kan so kita try main as many games as we can .. but ada gak a few games xmain cause dah xlarat 🤣
& they also got lego in the Hotel .. the kids continue play with the lego in the hotel.. Mama byk kali warning jgn hilangkan .. otherwise nanti mama kena byr RM350 for the lego set 🤪
************* .. Finally we manage to fulfill our kids request to go here 🤲🏻
So thats all for our 1st Trip School Holiday .. cant wait for the next school holiday trip 😂

JJohn_LWe stayed in Executive Three Bedroom Apartment with Private Pool A.
Advantage, the apartment is very spacious. Suitable for a big family. Good location to KSL mall, but compared to hotel, there is a slight walking distance from the check-in counter. There are toilet daily amenities provided and bottle water are provided.
Disadvantage, the cleanliness of the cabinets are not good, dusty. The private swimming pool is dirty. There are 3 bathrooms, 1 of them, the heater does not work well. There are no bedroom slippers provided and there are no safe provided. There are many dangerous fragile furniture around, with kids, is dangerous and if furniture happen to spoil, they will deduct the deposit (RM300) which initially required during check-in.
I hope the management will look into upgrading the apartment, or even cleanliness of the apartment especially the pool and the pool surroundings.
I still recommended to stay at KSL hotel compared to the apartment.

RRosli HasiCame knowing this hotel through Trips. Com. The review was good so give it a try. I can said it is well maintained, room was good, amenities is basic for a normal hotel. The only complain I have is the mattress bed is too hard, woke up with a back pain. Breakfast is okay not bad. For those who looking for a night of two and near to all the shopping and food glorious this hotel is good.

AAnna Marie KaibiganIf you're visiting Legoland Malaysia and looking for a more budget-friendly alternative to the Legoland Resort, Ramada by Wyndham Meridin Johor Bahru is a solid choice. The hotel is located just a short drive from the theme park, making it convenient for families.
The rooms are impressively spacious and comfortable, offering great value for the price. We appreciated the modern decor and cleanliness of the space, which made our stay pleasant and relaxing.
One area for improvement would be the shuttle service. While the hotel does offer some transport options, it would be much more convenient if they increased the frequency or added more scheduled trips, especially during peak hours or weekends when many guests are heading to and from Legoland.
Overall, it's a great stay for families or groups looking to save a bit without compromising on comfort.

Friendly concierge proficient in English. Hotel pillow is soft type, 2 given per bed and super comfortable. Sound proofing is pretty good (didn't get woken up by any sounds beside or outside) Modern interior design and 4 wall socket + 1 beside the bed. Tv had YouTube but slightly slower due to older model. Lobby had sufficient seat while waiting for grab too.
Free swimming pool access & it looks very clean. Overall satisfied with the stay and will be back/recommending to others.
