Shirasagiyu Tawaraya ★★★★
"Looks good. A bit dated but still very nice. Looks good. A bit dated but still very nice. Looks good. A bit dated but still very nice."
Araya Totoan ★★★★
"This year marks the 1,300th anniversary of the hot spring's founding. It was about an hour's drive from Kanazawa City. I parked my car in front of the entrance, but was told the parking lot was a little further away, so I used Vale Parking. The very pleasant and cheerful proprietress greeted me with a courteous welcome. Apparently the building has undergone reconstruction and renovations in the past, and the current building occupies a small plot of land with a first floor entrance, lobby, and three bathrooms, and six floors of guest rooms. The rooms consist of a 12.5-tatami-mat main room and an 8-tatami-mat twin-bedded bedroom. The window in the main room overlooks the moss-covered mountain garden slopes. The guest baths have free-flowing cypress bathtubs, and there are three large bathrooms on the first floor, with alternating timetables for men and women. Both the indoor and outdoor baths had just the right temperature. The dimly lit Karasu-buro bath offers relaxing soaks, alternating between hot and cold baths. Both dinner and breakfast were served at tables and chairs in private rooms on the second floor. The tables were about 2.5 meters tall and made of refreshing straight-grain cypress wood. There were three levels of food, and we had requested the middle course in advance. I'll post the menu below, but to my delight, there was a wide selection, each with its own rich flavor, and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful Kutani ware tableware. It lived up to our expectations. Those with smaller appetites may not be able to finish their meal. Apparently, snow crab season begins in November, and many customers come for the crab. Since it was September, we were served plenty of hairy crab. We rarely drink alcohol, but the wine list was impressive. Everyone was very attentive. We enjoyed the hot springs before and after breakfast, and relaxed until check-out before leaving the inn. We'd like to return during snow crab season."
Yamanaka Onsen KAJIKASO ★★★★
"I'd love to stay here again!"
Yamanakaonsen Ohanami Kyubei ★★★★
"The room I booked was on the first floor and had a private hot spring pool. While soaking in the hot spring, I could enjoy the beautiful greenery 😊 The babbling brook, the croaking of frogs and the chirping of insects created a beautiful environmental soundscape, a morning scene full of the healing power of nature."
Morino Sumika ★★★
"Hotel provide very good service not only in room but also car parking. Room is very big."
Yunokuni Tensyo ★★★★
"The hotel offers many self-service options, such as hot spring eggs, steamed buns, and snacks. The hot spring water is all sourced from natural springs, which is very relaxing. There's a shuttle service from the station, making transportation convenient. There's a Lawson convenience store nearby. Overall, it's a good hotel."
Hotel Arrowle ★★★★
"The refrigerator is not cooling well"
Hatori ★★★★
"This is a traditional Japanese hotel with an excellent location and good service. The public bath is open 24 hours, and the rooms are large and comfortable, though the facilities are a bit dated. Overall, it offers great value for money. The WiFi doesn't reach all rooms, and there's no signal at all on the fourth floor, which needs improvement."
Yamanaka Onsen Kissho Yamanaka ★★★★
"The room is very comfortable, the design is very special, the layout is also very unique, and the details are very surprising. Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner are very satisfactory. The private bath allows the whole family to enjoy the hot spring together, which is a different experience. The art performance in the evening is also refreshing😄"

LiVEMAX RESORT KAGAYAMASHIRO
"The hallway smelled of smoke. The restaurant's buffet food was mediocre; the ingredients could be improved. Aside from its good location, free parking, dinner and breakfast included, 24-hour coffee, and free bicycle rentals, it was pretty good."
Kaga Katayamazu Onsen Kasuikyo (APA Hotel)
"Very clean. Lake view. Mountain view. Best view. Best hot spring. Dinner is delicious and clean. Big room."
Yamashiro Onsen Miyabi No Yado Kaga Hyakumangoku
"They upgraded our room, which was spacious and allowed us to relax comfortably. The hot spring bath was also very pleasant and relaxing. It was wonderful to hear the taiko drum performance at night. Of course, we were also satisfied with dinner and breakfast. We would like to go again as a couple next time."
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Yamanaka Grand Hotel(Old:Yukai Resort Premium Yamanaka Grand Hotel)
"Nice hotel with great food buffet and a really good onsen. hotel is in walking distance to the Yamanaka town. There are bus stops closer to the hotel as well. It takes about 30mins by public bus to the hotel from Kaga station. Yamanaka onsen town itself is worth exploring."
Hanatsubaki
"Mainly catered for locals but with Chinese speaking staff. Hotel is off site so need a car to travel. Bit old but outdoor onsen is extremely rewarding with river flow. Room is spacious and packed with dhc amenities. Breakfast is simple tho and near to airport Good! Reasonable price! Pity shops all closed."
Yoshidaya Sannoukaku
"The food and bath were perfect, but the water in the bathroom in my room didn't drain well, so the front desk staff fixed it first. They dealt with it right away, but I wish they had checked beforehand. It was a very unpleasant experience. Also, I got a cheap plan, so it can't be helped, but there was noticeable black mold on the bathroom floor, and the mat in front of the toilet was noticeably frayed. You could really feel the age of the building. The bath was great."
Yunoyado Hakusan Shoubutei
"The hotel service was attentive and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful, and there was a shuttle bus service. The rooms were large and comfortable, with a beautiful terrace view. A welcome drink was also available in the lobby."
Tokigasane
"Room 2/10, spa 2/10, food 9/10, we happy with the dinner and breakfast but room and hotel hallway need to renovate!"
Hoshino Resorts Kai Kaga
"I like Yamanaka Onsen and used to go there often, but I learned that Yamashiro Onsen has a world, so I decided to go there this time. Yamanaka is a rather calm place, whereas Yamashiro Onsen used to be a hot spring resort mainly for large banquets and had many large accommodation facilities, but it seems that Yamashiro was a hot spring facility that people quit when large corporate banquets stopped. . I was very happy that the front building of Kai Kaga, which is a tangible cultural property, sends out visits to hot springs. There are many young staff members, but they are very smiling and hospitable. It was fun to feel like they were trying their best to respond. The power of the lion dance, which is a first for local music, will surprise and move you! I think my partner was scared lol. The outside temperature was high, but the bath and indoor bath were a little lukewarm and the air conditioner was on so I took my time in the bath. The dinner was delicious, and I appreciate the hospitality of Hoshino Resorts and the thoughtfulness of the staff in dealing with my partner's dislike of ingredients. I was able to deal with it this time, but I was happy because I had given up. My husband and I have grown to love the world more and more.Thank you for helping us have a great trip."
Kuriya Yasohachi
"I visited at the end of the year. It's a charming inn, and the clientele was relatively quiet and peaceful, consisting of elderly people, groups of adults only, adult families, and foreign couples. There was a wide variety of welcome drinks in the lounge, and although I didn't use it due to the bad weather, there was also a stylish terrace. The room was spacious, clean, and had a nice view. Instead of tea bags, they provided Kaga bancha tea. The hot spring wasn't large, but it was very clean and helped alleviate my back pain. The shower was a ReFa, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap had a wonderful scent and didn't leave my hair feeling tight. The food was so delicious that it made the New Year's dishes that followed seem bland in comparison. Having a private room was also a plus. There seemed to be many cute yukata to choose from. The service was excellent, and everyone treated us with great care."
Kohan-No-Yado Morimoto
"The surrounding scenery is very nice. Not only the hostess, but also the staff are very friendly. The food is also the best. If you want to feel the Japanese atmosphere, I highly recommend it."
APA Hotel Kagadaishoji-Ekimae
"There was also an open-air bath in the large bath, so I was able to spend a relaxing time. This time I stayed without meals, but it says that the breakfast buffet also has Toyama black ramen, so I wanted to use it next time."
Tachibana Shikitei
"Kaga-Yamashiro Onsen, Tachibana Shiki-tei. The tranquility and refinement of a traditional ryokan are evident in its service. The cuisine is the kind of quiet, yet unforgettable deliciousness. Five-star recommendation ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This warm and welcoming hotel!"
Hokuriku Yamashiro Onsen Hotel Kikyou
"I had a very relaxing time. The room was clean and the hot springs were very relaxing. Thank you very much."
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Kaga Maruya(Old:Yukai Resort Premium New Maruya Hotel)
"The food was delicious, and the hot springs were wonderful. I would like to go again. However, it was a shame that Katayamazu Onsen is becoming less vibrant and there are no shopping options nearby. I would like to support this place more in the future."
Ooedo-Onsen-Monogatari Premium Yamashitaya
"Good spread of the buffet.. location is not bad and the amenities are quite alright. It’s mass market so expect a lot of families"
