Popular Kaifeng 4-star Hotels

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express for a total of 7 nights during this trip: 2 nights at Kaifeng Dichen, 2 nights at Luoyang Kaiyuan, 2 nights at Xi'an Bell Tower, and 1 night at Zhengzhou Longzi Lake. I feel that the price/performance ratio is very good, especially the location where land is at a premium. I bought a special coupon at the Xi'an Bell Tower store for only 300 yuan a night. Each store provides free breakfast for children. My baby is over 160cm tall. The Luoyang and Zhengzhou stores also upgraded to a 35-square-meter room. The facilities in the Kaifeng store are very new, the breakfast is rich, and the haggis soup is particularly delicious. It feels good to stay here, like it 👍

The hotel is easy to find. There is a night market snack at the door that is said to be loved by locals. The taste is good and the price is affordable! The hotel has a complete breakfast variety. The spicy soup here is a local specialty. The front desk staff is warm and thoughtful. When checking in, they also sent Kaifeng specialty snacks. Especially the waiters 1, 6 and 8 were attentive and answered all questions. They recommended the surrounding specialties and tasted good. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance. My husband and I took our wheelchair-bound mother to Kaifeng for a trip and stayed in this hotel for six days. Before we set off, we received a call from the hotel, saying that they had reserved a room for us. What touched me most was that it was already past 11 o'clock in the evening when we arrived at the hotel. The proprietress and the front desk waiter had been waiting for us. When they saw us get off the car, the proprietress and the girls at the front desk enthusiastically arranged and helped with the luggage. At the same time, a cup of hot tea was handed to us. Drinking a cup of hot tea and listening to the wonderful Henan accent made us feel warm in our hearts! The front desk quickly checked in, and soon we said goodnight! The hotel's breakfast was a familiar home-cooked meal, with sweet potatoes, pumpkins, fried dough sticks, buns, flower rolls, jujube cakes, steamed dumplings, eggs, fried noodles, a few stir-fried vegetables, a few cold dishes, wontons, milk, soy milk, and coffee. It was very comfortable to eat. The hotel room is fully equipped with a single bed and a double bed, which is just right for the three of us to sleep. The large floor-to-ceiling windows are sunny, and we sit in front of the window to drink tea, watching the busy streets with people coming and going, and experiencing the fireworks of the ancient capital of Kaifeng. The hotel staff is very good. If you have any needs, they are solved immediately with just a phone call. Whether it is the front desk, restaurant or room cleaning, the service staff always greets you with a smile and provides warm service, making us feel at home and as touched as if we had met family.

I would rate this hotel as average. Disappointed that no one at the registration desk spoke English. Room had a lovely view (12th floor) but wallpaper was torn and patched with large stickers. I had to ask for our room to be tidied (dump trash, fresh towels, more water bottles). Ladies at the breakfast buffet where very nice and welcoming -- knew basic English. The location is decent -- close to many restaurants, snack street/night market. Easy to get Didi or Taxi. Probably would not stay there again.

We drove around all the hotels in Kaifeng, and Kaifeng really left us with such a controversial impact! There are unfinished buildings everywhere. Although there are many small B&Bs and small hotels, they really feel like they are either messy, dirty or noisy! Kaifeng is really an ancient city for electric vehicles. I have been to nearly fifty cities across the country, but I have never seen electric vehicles crossing the road in Kaifeng! At the red light, there is a huge crowd of electric cars, running rampant, and there are people of all ages without helmets. The ancient capital, which was originally rich in history, is surrounded by unfinished buildings and iron houses. The ancient streets and the Qingming Riverside Garden were built in the Song Dynasty. Where has the legacy aesthetic gone? I really feel sad and painful for the ancients! The Song Dynasty was even higher than the Tang Dynasty in terms of humanities and aesthetics! Facing Song Du, I was so ashamed! In order to find a decent place to stay, we drove all over Kaifeng and finally chose this hotel. Facts have proved how wise our choice was! Although the surrounding area of ​​this hotel is also overgrown with weeds, it is not very messy, especially there are no messy people and cars. Because it is connected to the university, there is plenty of room to move around! You can walk around the entire campus. Although the university is in the summer vacation and the hygiene is very poor, the quiet and huge campus with shady trees is a familiar and working environment for me. It is very suitable for us as professors! The hotel is very old. Did Ctrip upgrade it for me? The elegant room is newly decorated in a new Chinese style. It is small in size but quiet, and all office stationery is prepared. What is particularly uncomfortable is the toilet seat. It is too narrow and is only suitable for children. Even a small person like me cannot sit down. How can a man who is 1.89 meters tall use the toilet? The drain in the shower room is too shallow, the quality of the shower head is too poor, and water splashes into the bathroom. The entire bathroom needs to be renovated, and the wall beside the bed has fallen off. We traveled by ourselves, and the surrounding transportation still couldn’t provide a feasible reference!

The hotel service is particularly good. Since I went there by train, I arrived at the hotel at around 6 o'clock in the morning. I thought I would not be able to get a room until noon. Unexpectedly, Mr. Li at the front desk saw that I brought the elderly with me and immediately arranged a room for me and upgraded it. I am particularly grateful🙏The hotel cleaning aunt, the room cleaning aunt, and the front desk service are all very, very good, and the price-performance ratio is very high. Water is also provided every day. When I left, I didn't want the bath towel I brought with me, but I forgot to tell the front desk, and the front desk even called me specially. The bedding is comfortable and the quality of the toiletries is also good. In short, everything is good. 入住該酒店很滿意，停車場很大，方便停車。庭院很大，兩個孩子玩的很開心。帶着家人順便吃了個**99元的套餐，很不錯，菜品量大實惠，倆大人帶倆孩子根本吃不完。

The room seems to have no night light and no night sensor light; the washbasin is slow to drain and suspected of being blocked; The floor of the shower room is a bit slippery; the building is mixed, and the people entering and leaving are mixed; from the basement to the front desk on the first floor, the first-time guests can't figure out which is the guest's special elevator.
