Kaifeng Hotels with Parking

Our travel plans were decided quite early, and after a long search, we chose this hotel which isn't too far from the scenic spots and has pretty good reviews. The check-in experience was really good: the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, informing us about various注意事项 (important points) and recommending tour routes. The hotel lobby has a great design, and they even upgraded our room type to one with a large terrace. Every day, yogurt and small snacks were delivered to our room. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation design was well-done. There's also a laundry area on the 6th floor with washing and drying machines. Upon check-in, they even gave us a souvenir featuring the 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival' painting, and prepared a set of toiletries + a small toy for our baby, which was very thoughtful. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

The hotel overall is sleek and spacious, with a well-designed layout that feels uncluttered. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring a sound and comfortable night's sleep with good ventilation. The value for money far exceeded my expectations; it's clean, tidy, and the service is excellent. It's perfectly suited for short trips.

Facilities: Hair dryer, toothbrush, slippers, and all other essentials were provided. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Environment: Very convenient. There are many restaurants nearby, and it's close to a high school. It's within walking distance of Kaifeng Mansion, and you can enjoy a free light show at night. Zhouqiao (Bridge) is also very close. Service: Very attentive. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Kaifeng!

I stayed in Kaifeng for two days and chose this hotel near the Gulou area for its convenience in exploring the ancient town. Kaifeng is not a large city like Zhengzhou or Luoyang, and with good stamina you can explore most of it on foot. If you plan to spend three days mainly at Millennium City Park (清明上河园), this hotel may not be the best option. However, there are two direct public buses — Y1 and Bus 15 — that make travel to the park easy. The hotel itself is located on the third floor, with a supermarket directly below at ground level. We bought fruits and beverages there for our stay. The Gulou Night Market is only a few minutes’ walk away, and one of China’s Top 10 Famous Buddhist Temples, Xiangguo Temple (相国寺), is about a five‑minute walk. Visitors often remark that standing in Xiangguo Temple feels like stepping into a living link with the Tang and Song dynasties. Admission is free for seniors aged 60 and above, regardless of nationality. Another nearby attraction is the Kaifeng Prefecture Office (开封府), historically the government headquarters and judicial court of Kaifeng. It is just two bus stops away, with half‑price admission for seniors aged 60 and above. Transportation was convenient: there are direct public buses (No. 10 and Y1) from Kaifeng Train Station to the hotel. This made my arrival from Luoyang and departure to Zhengzhou smooth and easy. I had booked hotels in Luoyang (3 nights), Yuntaishan (3 nights), and Zhengzhou (3 nights), and mistakenly thought I had also booked Kaifeng for 3 nights. In fact, I had only reserved 2 nights. I realized my mistake when the hotel staff kindly alerted me around 4 pm, just before my departure to Zhengzhou. I was panicky, but the counter staff remained calm and understanding, helping me expedite my check‑out. Thanks to their assistance, I managed to catch my train to Zhengzhou East Station (郑州东站) and check into my hotel at Erqi Square before 7 pm. I am very grateful to the hotel staff for their patience and support. Without their help, my transition would not have been so smooth. A big thank you to the hotel team.

Our stay at the FunGee Hotel (Gulou Square branch) was the most pleasant surprise of our trip to Kaifeng. The hotel is right in the heart of the ancient city, just a 5-minute walk from the Shudianjie Night Market. If you're driving, there's free parking directly opposite the hotel, and it's a convenient drive to places like Xiangguo Temple and Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. The hotel is a trendy design hotel that opened in 2025. The lobby is located on the fourth floor and accessible directly by elevator. ⚠️ The rooms are spacious and bright. Do note that for inner-facing rooms, the 'floor-to-ceiling window' looks out onto a wall and doesn't offer ventilation. The entire room is equipped with smart voice control, high-end toiletries, and a mini-fridge. There's a QR code by the bed for some complimentary items. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable, and the room is quiet. The lobby offers 24-hour refreshments and drinks. During afternoon tea, there's an unlimited supply of fruits and desserts. Complimentary cocktails are offered every evening, and breakfast is served until 11 AM, with a good variety of tasty options. The front desk staff provided warm and efficient service throughout our stay.

This is probably the closest hotel to the east gate of Wansuishan Mountain. Traveling with a child, choosing this hotel over a guesthouse was definitely the right decision. Cleanliness and hygiene are basic standards, and after a tiring day of playing, having the hotel just across the street was perfect. The hotel staff were very polite, and the front desk lady was lovely and very responsive. I'd like to specifically mention that the breakfast here is excellent, very suitable for children, and also great for adults who are health-conscious. We initially booked for 2 nights, and the service, environment, and location were all good, so we extended our stay for another 2 nights. If we come back to visit again, we will definitely stay here. PS: I wasn't quite used to the local Henan food, so the hotel breakfast really helped fill that gap.

The room's design perfectly matched my aesthetic! The huge floor-to-ceiling window was like a natural landscape painting; every morning, pulling back the curtains and letting the sunlight stream in just brightened up my mood. The room has a three-zone layout, making it spacious and open. What surprised me most were the hardware facilities – not only a large-screen TV but also very high-end bathroom amenities, including a huge bathtub. A good soak in the evening just washed away all the day's fatigue. As for the service, I have to give a big shout-out to the owner and the butler! There was absolutely no commercial distance; instead, it felt like visiting old friends, very warm and welcoming.

The hotel's location is excellent. From the hotel, it takes only a few minutes to walk to Qingming Riverside Park, and Wansui Mountain is also close to the hotel. For tourists like me who want to enjoy the scenic spots and don't want to spend too much time on commuting, it is very friendly. After playing every day, you can quickly return to the hotel to rest, recharge your energy, and prepare for the next day's trip. Moreover, the hotel is surrounded by convenient transportation, and all kinds of living facilities are available, making shopping and dining very convenient. However, the hotel's breakfast is disappointing. At this price range, I expected to enjoy a rich and varied breakfast of high quality, but the actual experience was quite different. The variety of meals is scarce, and the food served every day is almost the same, lacking in characteristics. Although the hotel's breakfast needs to be improved, its superior geographical location still gives it a great advantage in travel convenience. I hope the hotel can pay attention to the breakfast issue, enrich the variety of meals, improve the quality of food, and provide guests with a better stay experience.
