Excellent location that is just beside the Drum Tower. From the open garden at level 4, you can also get a great birdeye view of the Drum Tower. In the evening, street vendors filled up the areas surrounding the hotel and you will be spoil for choice of food. Reception is very polite and warm, and allowed us to have a 2 hours late checkout before our flight. We were also given a small memento of chrysanthemum tea and peanuts at check out.

This is the first time I want to come to this city again because of the service of a hotel. Let's talk about the service first: from the front desk to the room attendant, they are all friendly and polite. When I arrived at the hotel, a meeting was over and everyone checked out. I waited for a while. When I checked in, the service staff immediately apologized and upgraded the room for free. Arranged to send the luggage to the room. When I entered the room, I saw the welcome fruit, there was a unique sachet on the fruit plate, and a welcome card handwritten by the service staff. The check-in and check-out are not handled by the same service staff. Such attentiveness is really rare. Especially during the peak of May Day. Two days in Kaifeng, there are surprises when entering the room of Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel. The afternoon tea is exquisite and delicious; the supper is a thick stew of white fungus and lotus seeds and peach gum. Careful words and thoughts should be cherished. There are many choices. The environment is good. It is next to Jinming Lake. In the morning, I ate in the sunshine and the rippling water, and my appetite was particularly good. This time, I feel that I have a good vision. It's the first time I stayed in Kaiyuan Mingdu. It's because the travel time is tight. I was moved by the words of a blogger on Xiaohongshu. This hotel is a scenic spot. It's true. Although I slept very late the night before, I was full of energy at 6:30 the next day and walked around the hotel. Jinming Lake deserves the reputation of a royal garden, with picturesque scenery and fresh air. On the third day, I mobilized my family to get up early and take a walk. My family decided not to leave in a hurry in the morning and took a leisurely walk. Leave calmly. A good hotel will make the trip full of happiness. Slow down the hurried pace and experience that travel is a mobile home. Strangers are not just passers-by, and meeting each other is fate. PS: This hotel has a swimming pool and a small zoo in the park (parrots 🦜 and rabbits). Friends who like green plants can focus on appreciating several green plants in the hotel. The hotel is easy to find. There is a night market snack at the door that is said to be loved by locals. The taste is good and the price is affordable! The hotel has a complete breakfast variety. The spicy soup here is a local specialty. The front desk staff is warm and thoughtful. When checking in, they also sent Kaifeng specialty snacks. Especially the waiters 1, 6 and 8 were attentive and answered all questions. They recommended the surrounding specialties and tasted good. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance. The first time I came to Kaifeng, I chose this hotel for three days, thinking about being very close to Qingming Shanghe Garden. When I walked through the corridor, I felt a bit old and I was afraid of stepping on the pit, but after I checked in, I found that the cleaning and supplies in the room were very clean. My skin is more sensitive. I have been itchy with my bag in the hotel some time ago, so I am more concerned about the room facilities. It was found that the slippers for bathing and washing were also disinfected. In order to prevent going out in the wrong direction, which direction is the elevator and laundry room is also marked on the door. A fresh fruit is sent to the room every day. The room facilities are more wooden, which may also cater to the image of the ancient capital. It looks a bit old, but the overall comfort is very good. I have lived all the way from some cities in the south. Many hotel facilities are not satisfactory, and they require praise. I am very disgusted with this uncomfortable living and forced to praise, but I have never mentioned this in the past few days. I also wrote such a long comment for such a good service attitude for the first time. The overall experience of traveling in Kaifeng during this time was very good. At the end of the check-out, the front desk lady also presented a small gift. It was inconvenient to see me with two suitcases and took the initiative to help me go out and put it in the trunk. Whether it is for the hotel or Kaifeng, you must give a big praise!

The courtyard was well decorated. The night view of the Qingming Riverside Park behind was very good. It was great to play in the park for a day. I will stay here again next time.

First of all, the lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and patient. She asked us every day if we had any necessities. The room was clean, tidy, warm and comfortable. The hotel design was stylish and the fragrance was also very nice. When we left the hotel, the female manager at the front desk also gave the children gifts, and personally helped us push the luggage to the intersection and sent us to the car. Thank you very much. Facilities: The facilities are very old, and you can tell at a glance that the decoration is old. Hygiene: The hygiene of the bathroom is not very good. The floor is dark and it is a burden to step on it. The breakfast is what I want to complain about. It is very monotonous and tasteless. No one in the family wants to eat it.

Overall, it's pretty good. The location is in the center of Kaifeng. It's reasonable to say that it's a three-star hotel. I got a free room upgrade! The only drawbacks are that there's not enough toilet paper in the bathroom, and the water for the shower is either very hot or very cold, and the temperature is not constant. The breakfast is just average, but it's acceptable for a free breakfast. Overall, it's OK!
