"The best hotel we have ever been to, the hotel staff are very hospitable, they did everything to make us feel as comfortable as possible. The hotel has a lot of fruit trees, chickens, a small vegetable garden, which makes this place very cozy and immerses you in the atmosphere of village life. The hotel also has a small pool where you can cool off after a hot day. Right next to the hotel are ancient diaolou buildings and rice fields. The hotel has a variety of village fruits all day long, afternoon tea, an incredibly delicious breakfast with a variety of local dishes - this is a separate point for which it is worth visiting this hotel and soaking up the atmosphere of this area. And also inside the hotel there is a cafe where they also cook very tasty. I would like to separately note their local very tasty tea, which can be brewed in the room - I bought this type of tea for myself at home, it is similar to 金骏眉 only even more aromatic."

"The hotel is located in the ancient town of Chikan, and it is convenient to enter and exit. But the hotel's house number is inconspicuous, so I looked for it for a long time. I was surprised that there was no phone number. It was just the tourist phone number of the ancient town, so there was no way to consult. I could only ask people along the way. This is really inconvenient. I hope the front desk can install a phone. For example, if you don't go to the front desk, you don't know that the car should be parked at the north gate. Parking at the south gate will be charged. These warm reminders can actually be put in the booking information.

The hotel is very new and the staying experience is good; it is indeed suitable for couples, but it is not bad for us with children. The rooftop swimming pool is very nice!
The scenic area is actually not that big. Many places have no hotels yet, and some places have not been repaired. I look forward to traveling again in a year or two after the overall improvement. It is indeed a good place to take photos.
The Chikan Dangdang bus is a favorite among children. The ticket is 50 yuan, free if the price is below 1.2, and the duration is about 35 minutes.
The buffet breakfast provided by the hotel is good, with many kinds of delicious food. There are no tourists coming in before 9 o'clock in the morning, so it is very quiet and comfortable.
What is particularly frustrating is the snacks and meals in the scenic area, which are expensive! Unpalatable! It’s such a mess for so many people on weekends, but it’s still a mess when it’s a holiday? ? Hope it improves!

"Great place to stay to experience Chikan Old Town. We spent 2 nights here. Staying at this hotel gives one free multiple access to Chikan Old town.
It is also easy to hop on to the free shuttle bus to the Diaolou Tourism Area as one of the bus-stops of the shuttle bus is right at the parking lot of the hotel. We managed to visit 3 main places - Majianglong village, Li Yuan and Zili village.
Our room was nice and spacious, included buffet breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, a great hotel to stay if you want to experience places of interest in Kaiping."

Kaiping Guild Hall is located in the ancient town of Chikan. The accommodation prices in the town are generally higher. After contacting the hotel by phone in advance, you will be informed of the detailed check-in process. First go to the parking lot and find the electric shuttle bus station. There is a luggage storage area next to it, which is very eye-catching. Show the check-in order and the shuttle bus will take you to the hotel immediately.
After checking in, add the butler on WeChat. All precautions, performance times and locations, food, drinks, and entertainment, etc. will be sent to you every day. If you need anything, they will respond to your requests.
The room is in a building next door, with the words ”1926” written on it. It is a century-old building with a Republic of China style, and is beautifully designed and decorated inside and out. The room is fully equipped with air conditioning and hot water. We booked a room with a balcony, next to which is the ”Three Diaolou of Longxing Street”. After the lights are turned on at night, the night view of the ancient town is particularly beautiful.
The hotel also has a free ”script-killing” game project and provides free Republic of China costumes.
Stayed for two nights in a row. The scenic area was very quiet in the morning and evening. It was a great trip experience.

GGuest UserWe booked a twin room with river view for this trip. We arrived at 9pm to check in and parked our car at the door. The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated. The room and bathroom decorations were comparable to those of foreign-funded star hotels. The beds were clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast did not have many choices, but the taste was good. However, the hotel is far away from the city, the area around it is very deserted, there is only one convenience store nearby, and the toilet has a slight blockage problem. In conclusion, it is a great value to stay in a hotel of this quality for ¥300 on the weekend, and I recommend it to those who are driving or staying for just one night.
