We have just returned from Elena Village Hotel, we have visited Kalymnos since 1991 but it is our first stay here, the views are stunning, the staff are all so friendly and helpful and the rooms are immaculate thank you to the lovely housekeeping staff! The pool is well kept and there are plenty of comfortable sunbeds. The food is lovely, lots of choice at breakfast and the snacks are great through the day. The hotel restaurant I can highly recommend, The Stiffado is delicious 😋 We will be returning, thank you to the lovely team at Elena you made our stay really special!!

My husband and I have just come back from this lovely hotel. All the staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was on the fourth level. It was well equipped. There was an issue with our washing line in the balcony, which was fixed immediately. Our bins were emptied each day, by the cleaning team. The pool was nice. Yes, the cream cushions on the sunbeds are stained, but I dont know how you could keep them clean. With sweat and suncreams. We just take our own towels to lie on. Breakfast was pretty good. Lots of choice, the breakfast team was really lovely. Very efficient, cooking the hot food, clearing, and wiping the tables- surprising how guests just leave their tables messy. The restaurant is really nice too, you just book a table with Mike. Food is nice, service is lovely. We ate here a few times. The nearest town is Masouri is about 20 minutes walk. We did this each night over our 2 weeks holiday. The nearest beach is a little stoney one. We didn't bother with the beach. There is a niceish beach by the boat jetty over to telindos. This was a nice quiet island. Worth a visit. We also did a boat trip to Perisimos and Platy that was really nice. The hotel does have a lift, which was really good to take our suitcases up and down. But otherwise, we were able to walk up the steps to our room a few times a day. Some people may struggle with the steps. The reason I've given just 4 stars is that the cleaners didn't really clean the room. They emptied the bins. Towels weren't chamged as much as you would in other hotels. I'm not even sure if the sheets were changed at all. The pillowcases were changed. We probably should've said something when we were there. But we didn't.

Everyone is hyping up this hotel but it needs som small fixing. Dont get me wrong, the hotel is still great and the staff (especially the restaurant staff) is super friendly and does a great job!! But some small improvements: the cleaning in the room is not good. When we arrived at the room there was still a lot of dirt on the floors and the sink was not cleaned. Cleaning happened every day but the standard was low. The breakfast was OK. The eggs were cold and overcooked (grey inside) No conditioner on the room? Is this a thing? The balcony in our room (newly renovated) has this huge space but still they only put one tiny table with 2 chairs - why not a outdoor couch or sunbeds? The pool area got busy because people who arent guests at the hotel can come and enjoy the pool. opening hours is 10-1800 for the pool. Still at 19:30 there are kids playing in the pool screaming while youre trying to enjoy a nice dinner. The sunbeds at the pool is also dirty and there is no pooltowels available so you need to buy at the minimarket. The parasols at the pool didnt fold down, and maybe 25% of the sundbeds had parasols which made people go down and put their towels on their sunbed before breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Elena Village. Its still a good hotel<3

One ot the best hotels I have visited. First we were couple nights at Telendos, but porto potha had their pool empty, so we were transferred to Elena Village by Tjäreborg. Elena Village has everything you need. It is clean, everyone is super nice. Big apartments with seaview. We were able to look at Telendos-island. 30 minutes to harbour by walking and 5 minutes boattrip to Telendos, which has good hiking tracks. Good breakfast, good pool, ok gym, 15 minutes walk to restaurants.

A very beautiful and friendly hotel that we visit every Year. The best staff in both reception and pool bar. Very nice breakfast buffe! The chef in the kitchen (Irini) is making so great dinners. Try the fresh fish! Fresh drinks at the pool every day.

Gorgeous hotel in stunning surrounds. 10-15 min walk to the tavernas and bars. Beautiful views of Telendos. Main praise has to go to the staff, all so welcoming and hospitable. Nothing is ever too much trouble and nice to chat with. Our 1 year old became unwell and required a hospital visit the reception staff very helpful, phoned ahead to the hospital. Caring natured and pleased to find out he could return 3days later. We can’t thank you enough. <3. Would recommend in a heartbeat. Cannot wait to return and pick up where we left off. Thank you Elena Village

Arrived here 19th June for 14 nights. Checked in by a very friendly night porter/receptionist and as there was only 4 people checking in it was very quick. We were allocated room 74 which was up to floor 6 in the lift then up 2 small flights of stairs. The room was lovely, more of an apartment with everything you would need for self catering. The views from the balcony towards telendos are amazing. After a couple of days we decided to see if there was availability to move to a room with a pool. Eva on reception was so very helpful and we managed to upgrade to room 48 which had not been occupied and was brand new. We were given the keys to see if it was ok, which I’m happy to say it was! We moved our stuff across and had a fabulous time. The breakfast was good lots of choice of cooked food and a good selection of cold as well. The staff in the breakfast room were lovely, cheerful and hard working. The restaurant in the hotel was lovey. Mike always went out of his way to make sure you had a good table from which you could watch the beautiful sunsets. The food was authentic and very well presented. Good selection of wines, beers and spirits. The hotel area was very clean and the housekeeping staff were excellent. We hired a car from the hotel which was very reasonable and the island is quite easy to drive round, just watch out for one way roads! You soon get the hang of it. Little on site shop sells most things you may need. The island itself is very geared up to walkers and climbers. To walk into Missouri where there are several bars and restaurants is about 10-15 mins depending on how hot it is. We used a taxi, booked by reception, and it was €6 There is a bus but we didn’t use it. The roads are typical Greek roads no footpaths and not overly lit up. It’s not too bad though if you keep a watch for traffic. We would probably not go back to Kalymnous as there are lots of Islands we have yet to see. Disappointingly Jet2 seemed to have abandoned the tourists there. The book in reception with details in, or should I say lack of, was useless we ended up reading through Olympic. Trainsfers we’re no the best. At the airport I asked a Rep where did we have to go for out transfers and she shrugged her shoulders. Good job there was an English couple going to the same hotel. The transfer back was ridiculous. Picked up from hotel at 4:30ish, straight onto the ferry and back to Kos. We had been told to wait in a taverna and that we would receive a text telling us what time we would be collected for the airport. We didn’t receive anything and two of the buses that pulled up with jet2 signage were full. It was around 3 hours wait. Kos airport was packed, no seating and people sitting on the floor, then the flight was delayed. Over all we had a lovely holiday, couldn’t fault the hotel or the staff, however, felt let down by Jet2 poor communication All in all perfect hotel lovely staff

Just come home after spending an idyllic week in this superb hotel. We flew with Jet 2 - excellent as usual. We had a junior suite which was beautifully decorated and furnished. All the rooms have a sea view over to the gorgeous, unspoilt island of Telendos. The rooms and the whole of the hotel was kept immaculately clean. Breakfast was really good and plentiful. The basics were the same every day but they kept it interesting with different items eg crepes, banana and chocolate bread, overnight oats etc. The staff couldn’t do enough for you; always friendly and extremely hard working. We had lunch a few times which was also really good and well priced. I can recommend the moussaka and the club sandwich. Easy walk into Massouri. Loved The Aegean Tavern (book a table overlooking Telendos). Kapsouli in Telendos.
