However, the Irish breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant's head waitress was absolutely lovely! The town is charming, and the national park is wonderfully beautiful!"

"The hotel has comprehensive facilities, including a reading room, billiard room, swimming pool, rehabilitation center and SPA. It owns Killarney's only Michelin one-star restaurant, The Peregrine, and provides bicycles for tourists to ride. The food at The Peregrine was delicious and was the best meal of our trip to Ireland. We also had breakfast in this restaurant, which adopted the all-order method. The taste of the dishes was excellent, but there was no buffet, and the fruit choices were much less. It can be said that the lack of buffet is probably the only shortcoming of this hotel."

"I stayed here with my daughter and granddaughter and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. It was very spacious, spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable, making for a very enjoyable stay. The décor is a little dated and the view from our room was uninspiring, but the hotel’s location more than made up for this. It is very close to the town centre, with plenty of restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance. The free parking was also a real bonus. There isn’t a restaurant in the hotel, but this wasn’t a problem at all given the wealth of dining options nearby. Unfortunately, we weren’t particularly impressed with the breakfast, which was the main disappointment. Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel, particularly if location, spacious rooms and free parking are priorities."

"A mid-range hotel in Killarney, 1.5 kilometers from the city center. The rooms are clean and tidy, there is a swimming pool, and the price is very good. The breakfast is also good. Parking is free."

"Love Killarney Royal Hotel. Elegant and cozy. Our suite at the front of the hotel was spacious and light. We didn’t mind facing the Main Street as we like to observe people going and coming. My friend got a bigger suite but it faced the inside so there was not much natural light and was dark. Breakfast was delicious. Service was great from the receptionist to the breakfast ladies and a special mention to John the bellman who recommended great restaurants, helped with our luggage’s and even hop in our car to show us the way to the carpark and walked back with us (3mn walk). Kudos to all the team for making our stay in Killarney memorable."

"Location is a little bit outside the town center. Unfortunately, rooms do not have any air-conditioning, but Hotel will offer to use of a small fan. Staff at this hotel are particularly friendly and helpful, but in my opinion are limited by the age of the building."
