"I was really satisfied with the room; it offered great value for money. This guesthouse is quite unique, located within an ancient building. Best of all, there was no formaldehyde smell from renovations, which I'm very sensitive to. While it might be a bit old and small, the overall experience was excellent. They even have their own restaurant, which hosts events every night at 9 PM, like movie screenings, dancing, and releasing river lanterns. The value here is truly unbeatable. Plus, the location is superb – just a 3-minute walk to Lu Xun's Former Residence, right within the scenic area. Highly recommend it, it's really good!"

"This hotel was a fantastic experience! The location is great, making it easy to get around, and there's a Suning Plaza right next door. The room was clean, tidy, and well-lit, and the bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep. Xavier at the front desk was incredibly warm and attentive. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious. Overall, it offers excellent value for money."

"First off, the location is fantastic! Lu Xun's Former Residence and Cangqiao Street are right next door, just a short walk away. The hygiene is also excellent; the rooms are very clean. The facilities are quite basic but sufficient for use. Second, there are so many dining options nearby, and the food is all pretty good. Third, transportation is super convenient. It's only a two-minute walk from Metro Exit B, and there are plenty of bus routes nearby too. My family of three rented an e-scooter from the owner. It had a navigation holder and good storage space for bags, snacks, and so on, which made getting around incredibly convenient. It saved us a lot of effort exploring this way, especially since many places we visited were just a quick scooter ride away. If something looked interesting, we'd hop off and take a photo. The e-scooter rental was also very affordable. Renting an e-scooter was the smartest decision we made on this trip. Shaoxing is great for walking tours, but a scooter is even better – otherwise, your feet would be worn out! Highly recommend it, especially for families with kids."

"Perfect for family trips. The family room was cozy and my child loved it. The hotel is conveniently located near Lu Xun's former residence, within easy walking distance. Parking is free and spacious. Staff member number 3 was very enthusiastic and patient. The yellow wine, milk tea, and stinky tofu were delicious. The overall experience was excellent. The room was very clean, with a wet/dry bathroom setup, and large, spacious windows. It also came with a Xiao Ai speaker. Highly recommended for families with children."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. The room was clean and bright, with comfortable bedding – perfect for business travelers! The WiFi was fast and reliable, and the front desk offered 24-hour printing services. The mattress provided great support, and with breakfast available at 6 AM, catching an early flight was stress-free. Even the grout between the tiles was sparkling clean, thanks to the housekeeping staff. A minor flaw with the toothbrush didn't detract from an otherwise superb experience! The front desk staff were warm and attentive, proactively offering tourist guides. This place offers incredible value for money; I highly recommend it!"

"This is a beautiful Jiangnan courtyard! The location is super convenient, right outside the old streets and alleys of the hometown of the calligrapher. After strolling around in the evening, you can relax in the courtyard and chat. There's a cute little cat named Qiyue who lives in the shop! The breakfast at Shi Er is also very good. 😻 I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shaoxing! Highly recommended for those who enjoy quiet, photography, and want to experience the slow pace of Jiangnan life."

"Pros: This is an economy hotel. The location is its biggest highlight; it's incredibly convenient for visiting various attractions nearby, very close to Shaoxing Station and the subway. The hotel staff are very friendly. The breakfast is abundant; though it's all basic fare, there's both Chinese and Western options, and a full selection of drinks and yogurt. The rooftop outdoor dining area is very comfortable. Cons: The upgraded rooms (those ending in 10 or 11) have huge pillars inside. Guests planning to stay here should either decline the upgrade or book a higher-grade room. The 'Quiet Elegant King Room (no window)' is extremely small, so small that if the bathroom door is open, you can't walk past it. The bathroom itself is also tiny, with no separate wet and dry areas, and the shower controls are a bit peculiar, making showering inconvenient. Double Self-Service Afternoon Tea: The afternoon tea is self-serve in the lobby. There's a dried vegetable pastry (gan cai su bing) that was delicious; I even bought more from a scenic spot later to take home."

"The advantage is its proximity to Shenyuan Garden, but the surrounding environment is just average. Don't book the top-floor loft in this weather, you'll freeze to death. Both air conditioners are located at the top, so the hot air climbs up the roof and doesn't come down. I tested it and there was a huge temperature difference starting from a certain step. The room was bizarre; it was unbearably hot upstairs, and freezing cold downstairs. For my first stay, I had to get up at 8 am to change hotels. Luckily, there were rooms available at Atour Hotel nearby, so I quickly went to warm up. The price-performance ratio was really low; this room was 350 yuan, while Atour was only around 400 yuan. There's plenty of food available right outside the Baziqiao area. It was absolutely freezing, and the room was also very small."

"This hotel was carefully selected; it just opened this year and has a great location, very close to Shaoxing Railway Station. Ying'en Gate and the Shaoxing Rice Wine Museum are right next door, offering pleasant scenery for a stroll. There are also two good Shaoxing restaurants nearby, recommended by the owner, which were quite nice. The owner and front desk staff were very helpful and even assisted with luggage. A bowl of hot scallion oil noodles in the morning was so comforting! Most importantly, the room was incredibly new, which I really loved. The blankets were also very soft and comfortable, making my travel experience a breeze! [Grinning face]"
