"This is our second time staying at Bella Vista (consecutive year). To us, it is considered the most affordable beach front resort along Pattaya Beach (which to us also the best beach in Koh Lipe). The best part is, Bella Vista is located in a section where there's no long tail boats! So, it's pretty much free space for swimming and snorkeling. Room is pretty cozy (can't complain much) but perhaps need to improve the draining system in the shower (room 515). It got clogged up pretty easily. Breakfast was decently good and staffs werealso helpful. All in all, we have fallen in love with this resort and Koh Lipe so Bella Vista, see you again next year (if you guys do not increase the room price 😊)"

"Located on one of the best beaches on the island. Managed to see reef fishes so close to shore. Great for casual snorkeling. Garden room 16 was the best, so close to the beach and wonderful view. Only downside was the food and breakfast was not tasty despite the variety. Recommend taking advantage of the free shuttle 6pm to 10pm to walking street. Lots of food places outside some walking distance (10min) or recommend taking taxi THB50 pp to walking street."

"From Hat Yai, it's only 50 meters to the beach hotel. The tide rises to the hotel entrance at night, which is great. When you go into the water to the depth of your thigh, you can see corals, and coral fish 🐠 will come to bump into your calves, which is very interesting. The hotel is not very clean, the lighting is not very bright, the bed sheets are dark blue, and there are many mosquitoes."

"Hotel porter came to fetch us from jetty. Check-in was smooth and beachfront room was spectacular, facing the sunrise beach. The beach was pretty and there were only about 3-4 beach side restaurants cum bars, making the beach ideal for couple retreat and casual beachside dinner, live music and occasional fire shows. Scenic view for amazing photos, romantic getaways and morning/evening dips in the sea. Breakfast menu was limited but reasonably tasty."

SUP boards are available for free. The rooms are clean, as are the bed linens. We had some issues with the lighting in our room, but it was quickly resolved."

"I liked this place, like grandma's in the village. The house looks cheerful, simple inside, but the air conditioning is excellent, the water heater works, the water pressure is good. 2 bottles of water every day. Excellent breakfast, delicious, a lot, appetizingly served! The location is right on the beach, a nice small pool, a view of the ocean at breakfast. Perfectly working Wi-Fi in the cafe area by the pool, calls, files, everything without problems. A good beach is 100 meters to the left, the bottom is sandy, there are fewer boats there."

"I had bed bugs and was woken up in the middle of the night by their bites. I scratched three of them, one of which was bleeding heavily. I was too scared to sleep, so I sat on a stool waiting for dawn before checking out and leaving. After a thorough check, I found patches of itching all over my body. I threw away all the clothes, pants, and shoes I could, and scalded the rest with hot water, washed them again, and dried them with a hairdryer. It was incredibly exhausting and left me completely drained."

The service is quite not good compared to another small local resort in island. A lot of staffs in resort just sitting no service of picking up at pier, staff quite not have a good service mind, staffs language proficiency of Thai and English. They don’t understand what I try to order in Thai and English."
