Guest UserTide was crazily high with lots of debris and rubbish, sandbags at front door exposed so all around looked pretty untidy. Very clean room, lovely staff, no English spoken, wrong time of year for Koh Lipe, not many shops open in the street, rubbish all over the island and only a few hotels open and ready. Motorbikes/sidebars whizz up and down walking street which is narrow, so look have to look out for them constantly. Retailers not friendly as so bored without customers in Sept/Oct. Covids had a huge effect on this beautiful island, won't be coming back for a couple of years unfortunately...all looked very grim!!!

Really convenient direct access to the beach from room facing ocean, and sunrise view is the best! Plenty of power sockets around the room, big comfy bed, however, water pressure in shower is rather low and quite a lot of mosquitoes in the evening. Overall, stay was memorable and staff are helpful and warm.

Tatiana PlotnikovaThe hotel is located right on the beachfront, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. There's a very warm and clean pool with a wonderful sea view. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available by the pool and on the beach. Breakfasts are excellent, with good coffee from a machine, several kinds of fruit, and delicious yogurts always on offer.
I have no complaints about the hotel itself. HOWEVER, I do have a major issue with the hotel owner: how can you put guests in a house where they are being eaten alive by swarms of mosquitoes!!! This is because the wooden doors and windows are old, warped, and have huge gaps, making it impossible to close them tightly, and the mosquito nets are full of holes. You can see this clearly in the photos. We asked to be moved, but there were no available rooms. Instead of enjoying the beautiful sea, we had to buy tape to seal all the holes in the windows, and we taped up the front door at night, otherwise, it wouldn't just be mosquitoes living in our house. We also bought mosquito coils and burned them constantly, breathing smoke instead of fresh air. This particular house is the only one in such a state; all the other rooms are fine 👌
The house itself is spacious, with two rooms, two bathrooms, and a living room, which was very convenient for us! Change the windows and doors, and it would be perfect! 🔥 But to spend your entire vacation battling mosquitoes and bites for $200 a night, that's just not fair 😳 I didn't want to lower the hotel's rating too much, as the staff isn't to blame, they're great.

The bungalows are located between Daya beach and Sita. The restaurant is beachfront, and bungalows F1 and F2 are also beachfront but set back slightly. We stayed in F1, which offered a direct view of the beach, though Charena's sunbeds were between the bungalow and the sand. We were only at the hotel in the mornings and evenings, so we didn't see many people there. If having your bungalow directly on the frontline is crucial, this might not be the best option.
Bungalow F2 has a direct view of a fence and a partial view of the beach, while F1 has a direct beach view. There's also a neighboring concrete, white bungalow with panoramic glass, but I'm unsure if it belongs to this hotel.
Pros: Free transfer to and from the pier on arrival and departure days, excellent location at the quieter end of the beach yet within walking distance of the 'Walking Street' in the center (we often walked there multiple times a day as all the shops are there). The breakfasts were good: egg dishes were cooked to order however you liked – just tell them what you want, and they'll bring it to your table or you can pick it up. Everything else was self-serve: muffins or waffles/pancakes, chicken rice soup, rice, chicken in various curry sauces (always different but equally spicy), chicken pasta (in different styles) or non-spicy noodles. Fruits like watermelon, melon, pineapple, and papaya were rotated.
Every morning, two bottles of water were delivered to our veranda.
For room cleaning, you needed to request it that day. They changed towels, made the bed, and swept or mopped the floor (I didn't see). At the bungalow entrance, there was a hose with a showerhead to rinse sand off your feet, and a broom to sweep sand away yourself, preventing it from spreading inside the room.
We swam once at the very end of the beach by the rocks, where there were fewer boats. In the morning, the tide was in, and it was deep enough; in the afternoon, it was low tide and very shallow (this applied to all beaches).
We booked an extra bed with breakfast for our child and paid an additional 500 Baht per day on arrival. However, the 'extra bed' was just a mattress placed on the floor between our bed and the window. Our child ended up sleeping with us; the main bed was very large, and it was comfortable for three of us.
As for creatures, we saw some centipede-like caterpillars a couple of times, mostly in the bathroom, but once one fell from the ceiling in the room. There was a constantly running mosquito repellent (fumigator) in the room, so there were no mosquitoes inside, only on the veranda. We bought coils from a pharmacy, which helped a lot.
Our bungalow's air conditioning was on its last legs, only cooling effectively in the morning. However, overall, the bungalow wasn't excessively hot with it.
The hotel was generally quiet and peaceful, except for one day when a group of Thais arrived – we think they were friends of the owner or staff. They were very noisy from breakfast onwards, waking us up at 3 AM with loud shouting right outside our bungalow.
Overall, we really enjoyed everything and were very comfortable; we don't regret choosing this hotel. The administrator was lovely, coming out to see us off when we left for the pier, which was a very nice touch. *
We really want to return; 8 days wasn't enough!))

Anonymous UserStaff friendly and very responsive to guest needs
Location wise it's very near to sunrise beach and proximity to the popular walking street
Cleanliness not top notch, encounter 2 night critters in the room though it's not a large one.
Room amenities basic. The water pressure and lighting in the room can be better..

Guest UserThis hotel is not too far from Pattaya beach, but Google maps will let you down - it says there is no connection. Walk out past the front desk, turn left, and walk to the beach. Fairly convenient, although a bit far from the walking street. There does not seem to be anything near the hotel.
I enjoyed my stay here because the room was neat and newly decorated. The staff seemed nice, although I did not stop for any meals. On the day of my departure, I walked to the ferry boat launch.

The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. It’s just I was expecting to have a least a disposable toothbrush for the price I paid. Too bad they didn’t provide. The hotel receptionist didn’t tell us about the direct gate to the beach which we paid the 20baht to access to the beach for the first time. Breakfast was okay.

Guest UserThe position of the bungalows are right on sunrise Beach. We had bungalow number three which is on the beach from and perfect every morning. I don’t think I would want to stay in any other bungalows past the first two rows they’re basic but sufficient and we had a great stay here. There are lots of boats, but it really isn’t a problem. Easy to walk to walk straight probably 10 to 15 minutes. The breakfast was basic but sufficient I would stay here again.
