Hotel Pearl City Kobe Reviews

I chose this hotel because I had a conference at the convention centre not knowing I have limited choice of getting something to eat (looking for halal option). Despite the lacking, I was able to survive for 3 days as I had to commute the Portliner to get something to eat. The location was quite a distance towards the portliner station therefore you have to walk a bit with your luggage if you are coming using public transport. The hotel surrounding is quiet. This is my first time staying at hotel in Japan, most of the time in airbnb. Towels were changed daily. Did not choose the breakfast. Service was acceptable.

Situated on a man-made island, the hotel is just about a five-minute walk from the light rail station, making it incredibly convenient for getting to the airport and Sannomiya. The room amenities were quite luxurious and very impressive. The staff were exceptionally friendly and incredibly thoughtful, always paying attention to guests' needs. Best of all, it offers excellent value for money. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location, right by the subway. The service was excellent, and they even offer luggage storage. Plus, there are convenience stores, shops, and laundry facilities all around. Definitely a great pick for family travelers!

The room was spotless and absolutely amazing!

It’s a old hotel with old-fashioned room and lobby, the service were great and they provide every thing you need. Although the room is a bit dim but regarding the price, it definitely worth it.

This historic hotel truly captures the essence of its era, yet it was immaculately clean. A delightful surprise was the discount offered for the public bath, where I got to fully immerse myself in Japanese bathing culture. The water was spotlessly clean and continuously circulated, and male guests even had access to a sauna. I booked this hotel at Kobe Airport (possibly in connection with a private jet service), and it proved to be an excellent decision.

The hygiene was decent, quite clean. However, the room was small and the in-room facilities felt quite dated. The bathroom was also tiny, lacked a shower cap, and seemed rather basic. I was surprised the slippers provided weren't disposable. On the plus side, there's a shuttle service to Sannomiya, which was very convenient.

Cheap and close to the event venue. Quite far from good location but if don't mind the travel is very good.

Very close to Kobe International Convention Center. Not very close to most tourist spots if you are typical tourist wanting to enjoy Kobe. Walking distance to IKEA

Public bath running until 23:00 only and need extra charge, hotel lighting is dim, horrible corridors to room at night. Old key system. No on property parking only park at the designated car park with 100 yen off

Good location in a quiet place. Good customer service too. But the room cleanliness can be improved despite being neat & tidy!
