Hotels near Gyokukeiji-Mae Station, Koka

I made a reservation in time because I changed my travel itinerary quickly. I chose the water mouth as an intermediate point between Hudong Sanshan and Hunan Sanshan. I didn't expect much. 10㎡Single is small in the middle of my stay so far. Also dinner 1000 yen. Whatever, I was looking forward to it. However, the room was well placed, there was no narrowness, and the lighting was bright. On the upper floor, the view was good. Dinner was so good that it was good that it was not necessary to go out. In the morning, it was a Viking, but the ratio was good. The staff was good. However, the restaurant was small compared to the size of the hotel and lined up a lot. I also thought that there were few staff. The public bath is ok. The guests were rich in variety with businessmen, tourists, foreigners. Overall, it was more than expected.

The next morning was early, so I used it for a night stay. It is very easy to spend with amenities. If you can charge it here at a cheap price, it's enough. I will use it again.

When visiting Kyoto, we wanted to enjoy some time in an onsen resort so we decided to spend two nights in Ogoto Onsen. After checking the details in their website, we booked a ”Biwa no kaze”room with private onsen and view of Lake Biwako. And we were not disappointed. The room looks newly renovated, and is very spacious with two beds and sitting area plus a tatami room. They offer different dinner packages, and we have chosen crab with steak as the main dishes for the first night, and lobster with shabu-shabu the second night. The foods were of very high quality, tasted and looked very nice. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of different items. The ryokan is excellent in nearly all aspects. We would stay here again when we next visit Kyoto.

The Prince Hotel in Biwako is a place where a traveler can relax entirely. The lake-view room is nowhere one can compare. I feel owning the whole lake scene when sitting by the wide picturistic window from the 11th floor and sipping a cup of green tea. From frontdesk to suttle bus drivers, all staff speak English and are so helpful. The suttle service running twice an hour betwwen the hotel and the train station is a saving of taxi fare. The lobby at the entrance is so spaciously open that one can sit in an armchair at a corner and will not feel uncomfortable albeit facing a big group of travelers around. I will stay here again when I visit Kansai area next time. James

Omihachiman & Azuchi 1 night 2 day We used it for a solo trip. It was ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ (ｽﾀﾝﾀﾞｰﾄﾞ) and the room ｻｲｽﾞ:17m2 ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ width 135cm. Even if you have a big luggage, you can open and close in the room (see attached photo). Because ﾎﾃﾙ is near the station, it is convenient for travelers in the sense of leaving your luggage and walking around Omihachiman. However, if you stay on the JR Biwako line side, the railway ﾏﾆｱ can see the JR running in front of you. It may be fun, but if you don't, you may be worried about the sound of the freight train running in the middle of the night. (If you care about the sound, you may be better to stay in a room facing the north.) Breakfast is not eaten or eaten The room rate is the same, so the ﾒﾆｭｰ type is limited, but ﾊﾟﾝ can be baked and ﾊﾟﾝ It is recommended to be put in the stomach even a little. Came here with family during the Sakura season. It's easy to get to the onset hotel. After arriving at the Ogoto Onsen JR station, towards the south exit you will find a cell phone attached to a board with explanation how to use the phone to call one of the onsen hotels. After the call, their shuttle bus will then come and pick you up between 2pm to 6pm I think. The hotel staff in general are very welcoming. Our family scored a deal with their penthouse suite with private indoor and outdoor onsen. Four of us stayed in the suite and the price is only slightly more than four of us staying in 2 regular rooms. It also came with a beautiful fruit platter for you to enjoy. The suite is very spacious with 2 separate toilets. The bath area has 2 sinks, a shower stall as well as a japanese style bathing area connected to the 2 onsen baths (indoor one is a hinoki wood tub and the outdoor one is a stone one. The outdoor onsen does have a slight privacy issue as there are some residential buildings in a distance. While my mom was a bit too modest to use the outdoor one (which I am not and fully enjoyed it), she did take full advantage of the indoor private onsen. Of course the hotel also has a public onsen for the guests. In fact they have two. One in each towers. I used the one on the top floor in the morning and it was a bless seeing the sunrise while soaking in the hot onsen water. Our package also included both dinner and breakfast that were served at their private dining room. Both meals were done in kaiseki style. We were particularly impressed by their dinner. Not only was it cooked with high quality ingredients and with beautiful presentation, they did not skimp on the quantity as well. Often after eating dinner at other onsen hotel, I would not feel full and actually felt a bit hungry later at night, at Yumotokan the courses kept coming and I was completely stuffed at the end. In fact I did not finish the rice even though it was so yummy (cooked from scratch in front of us with a flamed mini-stove). All in all, a very satisfactory experience. I can recommend anyone who comes to Kyoto/Osaka and wants an excursion and experiences the traditional Japanese onsen.

I never imagined that so many people would stay in this hotel, both Japanese and foreigners. In Japan, at this price, the rooms are quite spacious, there are hot springs, and free parking. However, there are not many restaurants nearby, so it is suitable for self-driving tourists. official!

The cost performance is extremely high in terms of room size, bath, cleanliness, etc. However, since it was originally supposed to be a love hotel, it was a bit embarrassing to enter and leave.

I stayed for 3 nights, but the new corona countermeasure was also firm and I was able to rest assured. Convenience stores (30 seconds walk) are very close from the station (one minute walk). The ion is also on the other side of the station, but I was able to go immediately by the free passage. I thought it was very convenient as a base for sightseeing in the Hudong region.
