I had a great stay at Kansei Hachijo in Kyoto. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, making check-in and everything else smooth and pleasant. The service overall was excellent—everything felt thoughtful and well-managed.
The location is also a big plus—just a short walk to Kyoto Station, which made it super convenient for getting around the city or catching trains to other areas.
No complaints at all. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Kyoto.

The hotel is very close to Kyoto station yet located in a peaceful area. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are nice and clean. I stayed with my wife and daughter and despite being small (normal for Japanese hotels) we still felt very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Good experience.
Nice Staff. Nice and clean hotel.
Sad didn't have breakfast or any foods. No restaurants surrounding. 7-11 was the saviour.

The hotel is close to the Hachijo Exit of Kyoto Station, about a ten-minute walk away. It would be more convenient if you take the Shinkansen. There is a 7-11 nearby. The hotel is newly opened, simple and comfortable, with free aromatherapy machines and friendly staff.

The location is very good. I booked it because it is close to the hotel. This is a good choice. The front desk service is very friendly. The room is also ok, except that there is no bedside table, which is inconvenient to put things. If you need to clean, just stick it on the door. Strictly follow the requirements. The spring version of the aromatherapy machine smells good and the air is much fresher.

I liked everything, everything was fresh and clean. The tea corner with various tea bags was very useful. And the view from the fire escapes is good. It could have been the same from the window, but they do not open completely, only for ventilation

It was very clean and the staff was friendly and nice!! Next time I go to Kyoto, this is a place I want to stay again🥹 The aroma was really nice and the room was spacious enough for me to stay alone and it was clean and nice.
