The staff and service are nice. Good location for Kyoto station. Japanese breakfast is superb. Something to improve the last entry is 23:00. If you come back late and you can notice the front desk by email or phone. This is a bit inconvenient. I have made an early arrival before the check-in time and mentioned I will be back for late. The staff in early shift could hand in the key in prior and mention the public bath will be closed at 24:00 (I have this experience in other Japanese ryokan) so that I won't bother others

An old shabby ryokan for little money to understand Japan. After the kilometers you've walked, it's fine to spend the night there. Clean, welcoming. Onsen with a hot pool until 24:00, breakfast until 8:00 at your choice of time, served in the common room. Yukatas and haori are also provided. For the sophisticated, pass by.

It snowed in Kyoto. The hotel entrance was really beautiful. The environment was the Japanese tatami feeling I imagined. The breakfast was also great. The staff were also very enthusiastic and nice. The only drawback was that the heating was insufficient. It was really too cold in winter. It might have been a long time. In addition, it happened to be a drop in temperature in Kyoto, so the room was really cold. Even though the staff helped to turn on the air conditioner to preheat in advance (thank you very much), it was still super cold. The only thing I was picky about the room was that it was too cold. Both quilts were not warm 😰. No other negative comments ✌🏻

It felt good at first, the staff was very enthusiastic, we arrived at about 11 o'clock, put down our luggage and went out to play, checked in at the hotel at night, took a shower in the public bathroom, it can be said that it is quite old, there is a strange smell, young people choose carefully, there is a smoking area at the entrance of the hotel, but the hotel has access control, it opens at 6 am and closes at 11 pm, and breakfast also needs to be arranged according to their time, in short, it is quite inconvenient, booked three nights, checked out immediately after staying for one night, the room fee is not refunded on the second day, and 50% is refunded on the third day. This is the first time I have booked such a bad hotel on Ctrip, I am not very good, except for the service of the staff, which can be 100 points, everything else is 0 points

The room has an old Japanese style, which will be very popular for those who like old-fashioned design. However, you have to enter the bathhouse alone. There are no partitions, so you need to get used to it. But as long as you choose the right time to wash, you basically won’t encounter other people. It should be noted that the positions of the men's and women's bathhouses are switched every once in a while. It is easy to go wrong if you don't look carefully.

The hotel is conveniently located, 10 minutes' walk from Kyoto Station. The duty-free drugstore opposite the hotel is convenient for shopping for small items. The hotel facilities are simple and practical. The tatami room is medium-sized. The air conditioner seems very warm. The service and breakfast are very Japanese

The Japanese-style room is relatively old, very close to Kyoto Station, the breakfast is OK, there is no private bathroom, public bath, and the price is expensive.
