The age of the place is catching up, interior finishing looks dated and has a stale smell.  But the food provided is superb, if you care a lot about interior fixtures, this is probably not the right place for you. 

The suspension bridge is very beautiful. There is a pick-up service. You must contact by email in advance. You can choose the time. The food is average. There is no surprise. The scenery is really beautiful. It is even more beautiful in the spring when it rains a little.

Came here for the famous bridge. There is a pick-up service at JR Garden Station. The place is quite remote. The surrounding environment is first-class. The facilities are very old. There are no bathing facilities in the room. You have to go to the big bath, which is not very convenient. The private bath here is not a hot spring. Please note that the private bath is about RMB 150. The hotel in Arima is also very old. It is much better maintained than here. If you come here purely to experience the environment in the mountains, you can come. The hotel has no facilities to talk about.

The room is very Japanese style. The service is great. I will choose to stay here next time I go to Kyoto.

The view is nice, but the room facilities are very old and the food is not good. The overall feeling is so-so, there are bugs in the room. There is an old man at the front desk, and his service attitude is also so-so.

Although the equipment is a bit old, the service is definitely five-star. The staff answered all questions and were very enthusiastic.

I arrived after dark, so it was hard to find the place. It was a detached building, but the staff were always looking out for me and were very kind. The leaves had fallen, so I couldn't see the autumn leaves I was looking forward to, but I was soothed by the sound of the river babbling and the clear air. The room was much better than the last time I stayed, but the food (shabu-shabu) had fewer dishes.
