Kyoto Higashiyama Ward Hotels

This hotel is amazingly good. Gotten free room upgrade and the room is very big. There are nice gardens, sauna, gym and swimming pool in the hotel. Had a pleasant stay and will definitely come back again if I am in Kyoto.

Although the accessibility to subway stations and other places was not good, the location of the accommodation was in a residential area, so it had a good local atmosphere. The facilities were good, the service was friendly, and everything was good.

Quiet, cozy apartments in a traditional Japanese style. The description is completely true. On the day of check-in, the owners sent the code to the front door by email (please note - the door slides to the side. We were stumped for a long time, we could not get in, backing up and opening the door towards ourselves 😁)

It is a lovely place to stay with a fancy roof top bar. The location is okay, not far away from Kiyomizu dera temple, but still several bus stops from Kyoto Station. The hotel does provide shuttle bus to Kyoto Station but only allows carry-on luggages. The breakfast from the a la carte menu is mainly omelette, so you will probably get bored of it after trying for two consecutive days. The drip coffee provided by the hotel is amazing. Overall, a good experience to stay at this hotel. The bonus goes to the skincare products they provided for free.

The hotel location is super convenient and very easily to get to anywhere. You can find 7-eleven etc supermarkets so easily.I will stay again this hotel next time.

Walking distance to many sceneries Some staff is friendly at the front desk Room size too small to walk around Ask for additional blanket for few times but the reply is not available. Went to Front Desk the next day, told duty staff that I would like to see the duty manager, staff asked what is it regarding, told them that I need a additional blanket, staff replied that they will try their best. And continue busy with their work. Have 2 cabinet but can only hang 2 pcs of jacket each. Breakfast buffet dishes should have 40% change daily for 3 cycles Limited bakeries, cheeses and hot dishes

Fortunately, I stayed at the famous Park Hyatt Kyoto 701. When checking in at the lobby, the service staff knelt down to serve throughout the whole process. I could enjoy sake, champagne, etc. at the same time. It happened to be a guqin performance at 5 o'clock. The whole check-in experience was smooth and full of senses. When I entered the room and the service staff opened the window, I was intoxicated by the real scene even if I had watched many videos before. During my stay, I saw the red leaves of the ancient pagoda and even the rainbow in the early morning, which was poetic and picturesque. The room supplies are basically the same as other Park Hyatts around the world, and there is no merit or demerit. The breakfast on the second day was mediocre because I had tried the breakfast at Kyoto Yamato before, so I chose Western style this time. The buffet had Chinese buns and rice dumplings, which were quite authentic. The dishes ordered were also amazing, and the udon noodles were delicious. At the breakfast location, you can see the comings and goings of people in Ninenzaka, and even feel that you are part of the street. A small complaint is: there seems to be an exhaust vent for the heating system under room 701. There will be intermittent white smoke floating in the autumn and winter. When the smoke is heavy, it affects the viewing experience. If you want to take pictures, you have to wait for a while. I hope the hotel can make adjustments in the future.

An almost impeccable hotel. There are not too many dishes in the breakfast buffet plus a la carte, but they are all unique dishes. The breakfast waiters were very enthusiastic. The hotel environment is very good and quiet. There are eight types of pillows to choose from. The room attendant brought many pillows for me to choose from. The room cleaning is also very professional and enthusiastic. The concierge was very attentive and helped us confirm our destination with the driver. Like the room facilities very much. The gym is the best facility I've ever stayed in at a hotel. It has the smell of camphor wood. Every detail of the hotel is attended by enthusiastic waiters. I like Kyoto because of the four seasons and will come again next time. All waiters are very professional.

Great location, clean room, beautiful space. Helper & friendly staffs. Great service. The onsen facilities are outstanding👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 It’s perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Kyoto. Best breakfast buffet! I would stay here again.
