Room was clean enough to my high standards. Breakfast was sufficient. The selection was limited but I chose room cleanliness over everything else when I stay at hotels so I don’t have any complaints there. It was awesome having unlimited fountain Pepsi as this is a staple for me when I stay at hotels! So major bonus!!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend! The Shrine to Our Lady of Guadalupe told us this was the closest hotel, so I booked it but had no idea if it was nice or not. It was a relief to find that every employee we encountered seemed to truly care about their guests. Also, the room was clean, and the breakfast was great.

The friendliest hotel staff I have ever encountered. New hotel, nice big rooms. located across a busy street from hospital, but i heard there is a tunnel that goes to the hospital. Ask for the hospital discount when visiting patients. comfortable bed and pillows. excellent large shower the free breakfast was better than most, plus they offer free soft drinks 24/7, along with coffee and tea.

Stayed two nights for business. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Decent breakfast. Love the high ceilings in the guest rooms and that I was in a first floor suite. I used the workout room too which only had two machines, an elliptical and a treadmill. I appreciated the cool local-themed artwork and the special touches left in the room.

Newer hotel in LaCrosse. Comfy bed, nice big room. Location was close to downtown. 24 free fountain drinks and coffee in first floor. Prices were very good. Nice big parking lot. Enjoyed the stay. Staff was very nice

Went to the La Crosse to be with someone in the hospital. Went to check in and didn't know how long we would be there. The front desk manager and front desk people we great. As we need to extend out stay they were informative and very helpful. This hotel is across the street from the hospital with an under ground tunnel to connect the two. As the time come close to the weekend they recommended to add days to have a room as the fill up quickly on the weekend. We also told we could cancel the days at any time. Check in and check out were very smooth. The breakfast buffet was very good. Big selection. Thank you Gunderson Hotel and Suites.

Giant king studio with pullout. Clean comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was nothing special, usual free breakfast fare. Met my needs. Even used the fitness room.... More free weights than you could possibly need. Didn't use the pool. Dirt cheap and convenient. Would go again.

Stayed with my daughter Dec 21 and bought 2 goggles for $2 ea and a row away. When we went to check out the checkout person Heather (HLS) said we owed $24. I tried to inform her that it was $14 and she insisted that there was nothing in their pantry that was for $2. showed her the goggles and she said she refund me after yelling it in the lobby show. When someone tells you your wrong and you have proof she continued to be disrespectful to her guest. However, where it went really bad service was, Jan 2, I reached out to let them know I did not see the credit in my account. She said that I was rude and she did. I told her odd it is not showing I would reach out the bank when they open on Tuesday. She than proceed to tell me that I was touched in the head. Obviously, she is not very bright. The hotel needs to evaluate Heathers position with the hotel if she is the manager.

The room was good size and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was quiet. Breakfast was average. We got a good nights sleep. The hallways were wide, clean and well lit. Easy drive to downtown from this hotel. We would stay here again if in the area.
