We traveled with a 2 months baby and stayed just for one night. Arrived on a rainy evening after 7 hours drive from Barcelona. We had a warm welcome by Daniel, who provided a smooth and fast check-in, and already made us feel comfortable, after long journey. The hotel design and facilities are great, themed as a Roman house ”Domus”, from the common areas to the rooms we loved it! Morning after we were greet and served breakfast by the ”Manager” (which I don't recall his name) who made us feel like at home. Even it was a short stay, we had a wonderful experience! Now we have a favorite stop when traveling from Barcelona to Santiago!

This hotel was really good with fabulous attentive staff. Large bedroom, comfortable bed, super bathroom and very clean. Outstanding breakfast and good cafe style dinner. Ten euros taxi ride into City. Good parking. Highly recommended

We have been sightseeing in the area and reserved this Melia with great expectations. I’m afraid Mr Escarrer would be a bit disappointed. On the plus side, the receptionists were really friendly and attentive, with the right helpful attitude. We could say the same about the staff in the cafeteria. The downside was the quality of the food in the cafeteria/bar/restaurant. Frozen chips in a Melia? The chicken fingers to pick at seemed to be a chicken escalope sliced and refried, making it dry and tasteless. Perhaps the menu ought to be relooked at because the premises are really nice. The room was fine although having to go to a vending machine in the lobby to get your minibar products kind of defeats the purpose of a minibar in the room. Breakfast was adequate although not what you expect from a hotel advertised as a Melia affiliate. All on all, a “pass” thanks to the staff.

Overall nice hotel, ok reception, BUT the employees seemed forced to be untruthful when it came to whether or not the A/C worked. The window to one of our rooms was open upon our arrival and the so called A/C or ventilation system had to be turned on. It started, but there was no cool air. We were offered to change rooms and embarked upon a wild goose chase trying to find a cooler room on the floor below. The window in the new room was also wide open, letting in the hot outside air. The A/C did not work there either so we stayed in the original rooms. Large rooms and large bathrooms. The shower was a bit small for the size of the bathroom and the shower door in one room was very creaky. The employees tried hard, but the management was clearly lacking.

The hotel is very good, the hotel staff are very enthusiastic, gave us maps, printed tickets, the hotel environment is very good, you can see the University of Leon directly, behind it is a big supermarket, the hotel can cook, my fiancee and I made porridge, Boiled noodles, the bus is also convenient, 6 roads and 1 road can be reached, it is worth living

Very quaint hotel with exposed beams and brick wall. The room was not entirely square which is somewhat charming. I was staying alone in room 104 which was perfectly adequate but if my suitcase had been any bigger there would've been no place to open it. As it was I had to Tuck it partly under the bed to get the Refrigerator door open. not only do the steps squeak - The floor squeaks and you can hear the plumbing. I had no problem sleeping with Street sounds or the squeak sounds i would still recommend it for the atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and you could order what you wanted for breakfast the night before. It's very centrally located so you can come and go if you're visiting the cathedral etc. That was handy for me on a rainy day.

Hotel en pleno centro histórico de León a 5 min de la catedral, murallas romanas y zona de bares de la ciudad. Habitaciones súper cucas con un toque rural que me ha encantado , camas amplías y muy cómodas. Perfecto para qued**** unos días solo o en pareja. Tienen servicio de desayuno tipo buffet de 7y30 a 11:15 bastante completo Las recepcionistas, un amor, en especial Paula ayudando a todas las dudas o sitios que visitar de la ciudad Volveré😊

Very unimpressed with this AC Marriott property. Arrived on a Friday after a very hard week. Staff has been very hands off. Bathroom is outdated and below par. The worst of the worst was no food service, no room service, and basically no service on the weekends. Their restaurant is closed Fri, Sat, and Sun. Very disappointing after walking all day and expecting to enjoy a nice evening in my room. I’d pass on this property and spend your euros elsewhere. Done with Marriott in Europe after a several bad stays.

GGuest UserWhat a great hotel, full of history, with a not to be missed museum and ancient convent next door. The Parador is a renovation of the sixteenth-century Monastery-Hospital of San Marcos for pilgrims walking the Camino Frances, and is one of the most important monuments of the Spanish Renaissance. Our room was in the renovated part overlooking the Plaza de San Marcos. It had a spectacular view, and was quiet, spacious, charming, and luxurious. The art in the common areas is impressive as are the exposed excavations of the ancient hospital and earlier dwellings. A great place to stay for a last night of comfort if you are planning on starting your Camino in Leon. It is located right on The Way with a monument to the pilgrim right out the front door.

La recepcionista que nos atendió súper amable, nos explicó como funcionaba el hotel y además nos explicó que ver y por donde movernos por Astorga. Ageadecer también al hotel el detalle de darnos una habitación superior a la que habíamos contratado. Seguro volveremos.

To find the Exe Hotel in Leon, aim for the large downtown El Corte Ingles store – then it's right across the street. Bright and modern, sharp and clean, extremely well appointed bedrooms (ours came with a fairly enormous sitting-room) and spacious bathrooms. All a city hotel should be. Parking is available in the large carpark below, with direct access to the hotel, and it's a ten minute walk into the city centre. Exceptionally helpful staff at reception, ready to dispense local information.

It was disappointing that the bar/snack bar was not operational due to the coffee machine being out of order and reception had no idea when it would be repaired, we stayed for three nights but it was out of order for the whole of our stay. The breakfast room was bright & airy with friendly staff and a reasonable selection of food. An enjoyable stay.

AandrewLocTion is fine. Sadly the hotel was not really up to a 3 star standard. Room was small, beds comfy enough but very noisy with squeaks every time you moved. Room didnt look like picture advertised. Out of window was a large extraction flume that covered any view of reat hotel. Generally the room was noisy from outside passers-by and cleaners in the am. The hotel is part of the nest door hostel so not sure if we were put in that sort of room or they all are like this. I have stayed in better hostel rooms. Laundry service not provided but you can use the hostels machines.
Room was generally tired with fixtures around light switches hanging off and yellow water stains in bath tub.

GGuest UserA hotel with the charm of the Templars, beautifully decorated and well-preserved. The spacious rooms are equipped with antique furniture. Rest on 10 mattresses. It is close to the center and restaurant area. The surrounding public parking lot is very convenient. The breakfast buffet is pretty good. And it's important! ! ! They know Covid very well and always follow the advice to keep everyone safe.
