Suiyu Er'an Inn

The room is really nice and clean but it smelled a bit like cigarette even though it’s supposed to be non smoking. Only a little bit so not too bad

the boss was very kind despite my language barrier. the homestay was lovely. hope to go back again!

We only stayed here for 1 night, but we enjoyed our stay very much. The room was spacious and nice. The outside space is very nice to enjoy the sun. The lady was very nice and helpful even though we did not speak chinese. Great place and a good price.

From the time I arrived until the time I left, the owner was friendly and helpful, even taking me around the old town for walks. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the balcony outside. I loved, especially that I could leave my door open and the clean air of the old town would refresh my senses. The owner even welcomed me to have a hot pot dinner on the last night of my stay. 

This is such an exceptional place, from the decor to the service, everything is absolutely top-notch. Each room is individually and beautifully decorated and furnished. Everything works perfectly, the wifi is super fast, the showers always hot, the extra furnishings like seats and table very welcome. Buried down a narrow street in the heart of the ancient city of Lijiang, it is a little difficult to find at first (for a foreigner), although as I was standing unknowing right outside it, a beautiful woman asked me in english if she could help me find my hotel. She turned out to be firm friends with the hostess, and soon had me checked in. I had to extend my stay an extra couple of days after falling ill with a stomach complaint, and once aware of my plight, the hostess was kindness itself, offering tasty home-made noodle soup daily, and doing my laundry for free. she was charmingly insistent I ask for any help and was very happy to do so. Often in a hotel you can feel treated politely but perfunctorily, not so here. Quite the opposite, I experienced genuine concern for my well-being on several occasions, and cannot thank the pair of them enough. I can't think why anyone would want to stay anywhere else!

Absolutely the most beautiful room we stayed in our whole trip! A bit tucked a way and more difficult to find, but amap was helpful! And the location is right inside the centre of the ancient town and the host was so so sweet 💜
