Our 2 main goals of visiting Yunnan is Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Tiger Leaping Gorge was facilitated by Tiramisu, the innkeeper. Initial communication gave me the confidence that I could pull off self travel in Yunnan instead of relying on tour travel throughout my stay. Needless to say, my group is very happy with arrangement as both drivers (on the two attractions) were very kind and accommodating and helped to make our trips memorable. We also relied on her great recommendations on food, salon and massage during our stay. Kudos to her! As for the hotel, its location is plus, in the ancient city and near the main road which makes for easy access to taking transport and shopping! We are also delighted with bright and airy courtyard style rooms. Highly recommended!

He picked us up to help with our bags, always made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed, and made our stay in lijiang convenient and wonderful. Before making the booking, I was quite skeptical of all the rave reviews (honestly, they all look like AI-generated). I am so glad that I went ahead with my booking in the end. The reviews were true! LaMaison was truly the highlight of our trip! Arrival: If you arrive in a standard sedan car, you can be driven to the doorstep of the hotel. We arrived in a 19-seater tour bus and were dropped off a short walk away. That was no problem at all as we didn’t have to worry about our luggage. The hotel manager/butler A-Liu contacted us beforehand and arrived right on time to help ferry all the luggage in a cart. Location: Excellent. With LaMaison located at the edge of the Old Town, we enjoyed both the convenience of exploring the Old Town on foot and a peaceful and quiet environment. Rooms: As mentioned by the other reviewers – the rooms are new, comfortable, beautiful and big (for the price). In fact the whole hotel was beautiful - every corner was photo-worthy. Service: Our hotel butler, A-Liu was contactable and responsive via wechat. He addressed all our questions and needs promptly. He also offered us an upgrade so that my teenager could have a private area in the room and a comfortable bed instead of just an extra mattress. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at LaMaison very much. The value was unbeatable. As part of the room price, we were offered daily breakfast, afternoon tea, supper and drop off at the train station at the end of the stay. Me and friends chose this guest house as our last stay in Lijiang. We just came back from our Shangrila and Yading trip. We fell in love with the place. We should’ve stay for more days here. The room is perfect. They have everything you need. The bathtub, washing machine, comfortable bed even give you breakfast and fruits. The owner is really really nice and very down to earth. One of the brother (big brother) also very funny, will always give you his biggest smile. His laugh is indeed contagious. Even though we only stay for one night, the service is really top notch. They will help with your luggage when you are check in and out. I highly recommend this stay for foreigner like us, because the brothers are really nicest people that I know in Lijiang. They are very genuine and kind. They also run a tea shop next door and grow their own tea! How cool is that! Highly recommend this guest house when you’re staying in Lijiang. The place is close to old town gate. Easy to get didi. Just walk within 5 min to the main road (near Intercontinental hotel). Thank you brothers! I will see you again when I come to Lijiang!

I had a great stay at Lijiang Pu Zhi Designer Hotel HOLIDAY VILLA, located at the South Gate of The Old Town of Lijiang. It’s a convenient spot for exploring the old town, and the staff was attentive and very helpful with our luggage. The hotel offers a modern touch with whole house intelligent control, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the heartwarming breakfast and dessert they served. The hotel is also not far from the airport, adding to its convenience.

In my yunnan trip, this has been the best stay and experience! Even before we checked in Mr 唐皓 took the effort to reach out to me and shared about the tour packages and things they can offer. Immediately took charge to book the best option for us within a short notice. When we arrived, he and his associates took care of us extremely well, explaining the do’s and dont’s, sharing with us objective food and leisure activity recommendations. Whenever we needed help or had any queries they will attend to it immediately. Even thought drop off was not part of the package, upon request he still helped to make arrangements for us post checkout. The hotel was really nice too. Had a great view from our window and at the bar. The interior were pleasant with warmed up beds which really helped with the cold climate. Really grateful to Mr 唐皓 and his associates for making our stay pleasant and enjoyable. If I were to come back to Lijiang, will surely stay here again for the amazing hospitality and kindness we had experienced.

Location is good, just beside the main road so easier to wait for didi or taxi. There is a chagee within the vicinity of the hotel, a convenience store in front and right at the entrance to the ancient town! Room was spacious, there is a self service washer and front desk has a translator device so make life easier for foreign customers!

Highly recommend this hotel for travellers who want to immerse themselves in Lijiang Old Town. Great location, convenient taxi drop off & pick up as hotel is situated by the main road. Very quiet despite being in the old town. Rooms are clean, well appointed with superb views of old town. Breakfast spread is delicious. Very happy with the friendly and warm services by 阿鑫, our personal concierge. She got in touch right after I booked the hotel via WeChat. Throughout our stay, she stayed connected with us daily on WeChat - very helpful and responsive when we had questions. She also suggestions and arrangements for our airport transfer & day trip to Jade Dragon Mountain even before our arrival. Thank you ❤️.
