disappointed this time, even though ibis as a brand is highly regarded in the world, this particular location does not live up to the high standards. wrong is everything, hidden entrance, alcohol in the lobby, combined reception , cashier and beer counter. it comes as no surprise that employees are not paying a full attention to the guests. teenagers roaming the corridors,partying a group of 10 in a room, no problem ,let's wait until its night and someone complains. oh its night already, no problem we are busy. well I'm busy too, the next day I have a meeting and not a party, sorry, but I will be careful around tessin what hotel I'm checking into.

Convenient to the center, excellent and varied breakfast. Truly accessible and equipped room for disabled people.

We were just one night. The hotel is good located, very close to the lake in the centre of Locarno. Friendly staff. The cinema rooms are nice and functional, great shower as well.

The location is on residential area of Locarno but easy walk to lake or train station. Not much stores nearby. Room is small as most ibis hotels but this bathroom is roomy and bright. Glad with A/C in room and elevator for luggage!

Central, clean and simple Hotel in Locarno.

Overall, the usual mix of economy and quality as you would expect from Ibis, but here the room was themed "Cinema": a larger TV, the lighting was better covered and not so bright (even in the bathroom). This should become the new normal. Environment: this time a towel (which was hanging on the hook) was not replaced. Although this green label has been following me for years, this was the first time for me that a hanging towel was actually not replaced! Service: Check-in and check-out times are 4 hours apart (very late check-in, very early check-out).

As always, a very clean hotel. Very friendly staff. Would happily return anytime.
