Premier Inn Manchester City Centre (Princess Street)

The hotel is quite close to the city center, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets nearby. I booked early, so the family room was the cheapest option for our summer trip. Check-in is on the 9th floor, and there are self-service kiosks available.

The hotel's location can be a bit off according to Google Maps, but overall it's still decent. You can self-check in, but I found red hairs on the bedsheets and stains on the pillowcases. I informed the front desk to change them, but they were never replaced even by the time I checked out.

The hotel's location is excellent, within a 15-minute walk of both Manchester Oxford and Piccadilly train stations. It's also right next to the *** Village and Chinatown. Most of the city center is accessible within half an hour. Our room was on the fifteenth floor, offering a great view, and the soundproofing was good – we didn't notice any noise. It was quite clean and tidy. However, the bathroom only provided a 2-in-1 shower gel and shampoo, so you might want to bring your own if you prefer separate products.

The room was quite spacious and had a window, but it couldn't be opened. The air conditioning would automatically turn off after a while, and it would stay off unless manually turned back on. There was a hole in the bedsheet, but it was late, so I just put up with it and went to bed. I had pre-purchased breakfast, which was quite hearty; although there were no green vegetables, it was filling. I appreciated that the staff wouldn't enter the room for cleaning unless I specifically requested it.
