The rooms are spacious and clean! The bedroom is comfortable, the nights are calm. The restaurant of the hotel is good, the dishes come from a traitor of Nantes. The reception and service is very pleasant. The people who took care of us were at listening and available to satisfy us every time.

Wonderful, small, charming hotel, perfectly situated right on the beachfront of La Bernerie-en-Retz; a delightful small Bretton town with great Boulangeries, it's own Chateau and a good selection of shops and interesting bistros. The hotel is immaculately kept and the nineteen rooms are well appointed and cleverly designed. The hosts and their staff are helpful, friendly and professional. The dining room and terrace overlooking the beach are perhaps their unique selling point ; morning activity at the beach and sailing school.....sunset dinners on the terrace with particularly good food , will be abiding memories . I can't recommend this hotel enough; a rare find !

Great value for money - the rooms are huge with well equipped bahtrooms. It was very clean and quiet and the breakfast was up to my expectations. The hotel is slightly outside the city centre but this is the price to pay to have silence and great services. there are restaurants not far from the hotel.

This hotel can be considered good enough for a short stay. There is a wheelchair accessible room and all the hotel in general is wheelchair accessible. The room was spacious. The air condition was making big noise so you had to turn it off in order to sleep. The staff does not speak English. The breakfast was really good and with big variety. The location is quite far from the city centre and is better to take the car especially at night where there is no one in the streets. During the day it might be a nice walk.

My stay at the Quintessia hotel was a mild experience, mainly due to the reception and management of our reservation. Once we arrived, a receptionist, at the reception, took us a bank footprint of € 563, while we were supposed to pay only € 382 for our stay. After requesting explanations, she told us that a sum of €50 per day was added for possible purchases, without being specified before. In addition, it was not mentioned anywhere that this amount would be charged in addition to the €11 taxes announced, which made the situation even more disturbing. As regards breakfast, the same employee, who had already been badly informed about the charges, also gave us incorrect timetables, saying that the service was made between 7:00 and 8:00, while in fact, Breakfast is available from 7h to 10h. Fortunately, another receptionist later gave us the good timetables. As for the room, although the place is quiet and remote, I was disappointed to see a persistent smell of waste in the bathroom, a problem already mentioned in some opinions. The spa is a little high, the spa is really pleasant and relaxing, and the small bar is a real more. Only a small inconvenience, you need to pass through the host to access it, which is not very practical.
