Nice villa in the jungle. Some part of the villa (specially master bathroom / open air shower is too open with a broken bamboo gate, it surely needs to be fixed and the lighting can be improved so it could be 5☆ and nicer; This Villa is so amazing & heart melting, Although the road is still very narrow & hard to go through specially at night, but living 3 nights at the villa is perfectly nice & comfortable. Only thing missing is TV 🤭

The hotel actually deserves even more points, everything is very tastefully decorated and so well thought out. The rooms are equipped with all amenities, a large semi-outdoor bathroom, a comfortable bed, the possibility of making coffee and tea., Water can be refilled at any time. The breakfast was really fantastic and the food in the rooftop bar was also very, very good. The pool is big enough to do laps there. Not far from one of the most beautiful beaches in Lombok. Was lucky that the water buffalo were walking along the beach. The owners were so helpful and provided me with a bike for free. Yes and the team, I have rarely met such a hard-working, friendly, helpful team. You haven't expressed your wish yet and it has already been fulfilled. I very much warn AGAINST booking at this hotel and want to share my experience with Selong Selo on here to spare others the nightmare we experienced: This hotel essentially took our money and made it impossible to get a refund or rebooking. We had booked a stay at Selong Selo for 2020 - unfortunately Indonesia stopped tourism entries due to Covid and we were stuck discussing back and forth with the hotel, about what to do with our reservation. The first thing we realized was that communication with this hotel is extremely slow and difficult, since very single time someone new responded in what I would deem pretty bad English. Since 2020 we have sent countless emails (many left unanswered) and two years later are yet to get a refund or rebooking for our prepaid reservation of 1.500€. In this time Selong Selo staff has given us the hardest time I have ever experienced with any hotel during Covid: They set absurd deadlines for rebookings (essentially asking us to travel when there were no flights to Indonesia), downgraded the villa category we booked and then took days off our booking in case we rebooked. To be honest we don’t really see how we will get our money back and all this feels like a scam through and through. My verdict is this: Should something go wrong, you are stuck with this hotel and will lose your money. There are plenty of professional hotels in Lombok, so steer clear of Selong Selo!

View days ago we were staying there at Illira Lite Hotel, this is the best hotel at praya city and really close to the BIZAM Airport. We've just returned from this wonderful place. We stayed for 7 days but could of easily stayed for a lot longer. Our room, the staff, the food were absolutely amazing. Oh, sorry, the owners as well were very friendly,helpful, and very knowledgeable. We had breakfast every day, which was lovely. My personal favourite was the muesli. Dinner was a delight. I think my favourite was either the burger or the green curry. Any way all the food was very good. We hired a scooter as we needed to get to kuta to watch the moto gp. The ride which took about 30 mins, was probably our most fun part. We were worried before we arrived that the hotel was a bit out the way, but once we had been out on the scooter we realised it was perfect. It's a short distance to some amazing beaches, and the ride is so scenic. We've already started to play our next trip. Hopefully see you soon Scott and Diane.

We were 4 nights in the Tropic Resort in the Villa Susan with outdoor pool and outdoor whirlpool and we were absolutely enthusiastic. Location: The Resort is 2 minutes drive from the dreamy beach Selong Belanak. There is a free shuttle service to the beach. The resort is perfectly suited for resters. There are a few very good restaurants in the surroundings of other hotels, where the restaurant of the villa is also excellent. Whoever wants to have more trouble one day can drive about 30 minutes to Kuta. There you can also find bigger supermarkets and an active nightlife. To the villa: The villa is luxurious furnished and offers an outdoor pool and heated outdoor whirlpool a free bathtub a rain shower. The villa is absolutely new and in a top condition. The pool area is not visible from the outside and you enjoy 100% privacy. You have as many useful extras as an outdoor grill, a cozy gas fire, speaker that can be connected to your phone, ice cuff donor, side by side refrigerator, etc. To service: The service was the absolute highlight at our stay. We felt so welcome and well-released. Each individual staff was constantly trying to satisfy us. There is a WhatsApp group where you can order e.g. food or report concerns. The reaction time was less than 5 minutes. We have been traveling in Indonesia for 3 weeks and had several accommodation but here the service was simply the best !

Hotel location is very good. Near Mataram Mall and eateries. Breakfast is also good. Room is big with fridge n good wifi connection.
