Lovely clean room and hotel, staff were friendly. The breakfast was easily accessed in the hotel next door and was a good, large buffet however it was the same offerings every day, and some variety would have been nice. I had an extra guest one morning and it was very expensive for what it was. The location was quite central for transport and access to sights and shopping, but trying to find restaurants and groceries took some effort unless looking for middle eastern fare.

Location of the hotel is brilliantly placed on the corner of Hyde Park. When walking out of the front of the hotel, you're faced with the Marble Arch directly. Very close proximity to the tube and Oxford Street is a plus. Hotel staff were friendly and eager for feedback on tripadvisor (which I find a bit off-putting). Hotel room on 1st floor was OK. Comfy bed, spacious bed- and bathroom. Bathtub in the bathroom is always a plus. However, both one of the towels and the duvet cover were stained. This was thankfully replaced by hotel staff. The A/C in the room was very noisy. The fan had three settings, Off / Medium / High. When it was set to off, the unit made a lot of noise of water running through it. Sounded like a drain that was constantly draining or a brook of water running through our room. It was loud enough that I would recommend light sleepers wear earplugs. While on drains, the shower drain was almost completely clogged, to the point where we were unsure if we had closed the valve for filling the tub. Both these points were forwarded to reception after the first night of our stay and we were told maintenance would take a look while we were out, but we never heard anything more from staff, and the issues remained unfixed for our remaining two nights. All in all, an OK hotel. Location is a big selling point, but value for money could no doubt be higher.

The room was big and clean. Location was good as is near subway and convenient store.

The hotel on arrival is more like a downgraded Premier Inn. They have no restaurant or facility on site, and everything like breakfast or other facility is at the Cumberland Hotel next door. They DO have a small gym though which for us is a saving grace. The actual room we had was excellent, a good size for london and I booked a deluxe king. However, the price of over £200 really was not worth it and I could have booked at the Cumberland next door for £20 more - a much better hotel. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, but for the £££ charged I strngly suggest booking elswhere for the same amount. The staff and rooms are great but this will be persistently a problem I think going forward.

I booked a twin room for my daughter and I. Check in was quick and they let me into my room a couple of hours early which I appreciated. The room was big for London and clean with a bath and very hot shower. We asked for a window and despite being February we were glad to open it as the room was warm. The beds were comfortable and clean with crisp cotton duvet covers. Pillows were plump and comfortable. We had a TV with basic channels, a kettle and complimentary bottled water. We were given a 50% discount for the restaurant at the neighbouring hotel. All in all, we liked our stay and would stay again.

London hotels in Mong Kok are generally more expensive, and there are not many budget hotel options. It is relatively close to shopping places, so I chose this one. Even though the hotel is relatively old, the staff is quite enthusiastic and they can help me if I need to print some things at work. If you choose a cheap hotel, this is a good choice, but if you have higher requirements for the hotel. It is recommended to choose other hotels. It's close to Hyde park and you can walk there in the morning to watch the sun.
